Happy Birthday! You’re a brilliant 30-year-old, very wise. I moved from New York to San Francisco, and that was one of the ‘leaps’ in my life. You’re correct, taking the leap is the best thing to do, no matter how isolating or scary, if it speaks to you, it will work for you!
Went on a binge of your page... I wanna move overseas but I’m so nervous with my career and license. I’m a licensed mental health therapist in Seattle. Also I’m 34, a Taurus (May 8th) as well, whoop whoop we da best
Hey Tiff, I found you on a search for what it’s like to live in Paris and I have binged you’re videos this morning! Thank you for sharing your story and feeding my soul today. Best wishes to you
I was just second guessing myself about moving to Sweden which has been such a big dream for me because my parents think that I should just stay close to family in my home country. This video really helped me to get back on track on following my dream. Thank you you're amazing.
ALL STRAIGHT FACTS!!! But #19! Never ignore the VIBE!!! I am so proud of you. Enjoy your life and PLEASE WRITE YOUR MEMOIRS!! Your perspective is so needed for other young Women of Color who will be following in your footsteps! Well Done!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Why is it always going to come down to helping women of Colour. Is it genuinely harder for them to move abroad find jobs than Caucasians?? That's not true, this is a learning curve for ALL WOMEN, of any Colour.
I KNEW I was going to love your channel when I first saw it! I have been dreaming about going to Paris since I was 10 years old! I remember telling my mom I was going to learn French and move to Paris and become a chef like Emeril Lagasse (that clearly didn’t happen 😂) BUT I finally did it visit last year for my 30th birthday ON MAY 10!!! ☺️☺️
this rang soooo true for me esp the it's not a coincidence, i'm moving to Paris for a program my sister randomly sent to me and applied a day before the deadline and got in to the volunteer program that only had 10 successful applicants, and again it rings so true, my family have huge fears about me moving and i almost feel guilty or like i need their approval first but i know it will be good for me
Hi Tiffany . Happy belated birthday! Thank you for this video . I really needed this encouragement. I have always dreamed of living in Paris but honestly I was afraid to take the leap. I have lived aboard in Spain for 3 years but I was in the military at that point. I have since then put my plan to move to Paris on hold until…. Well I didn’t have a date. Listening to your enthusiasm and pure joy as you talk about life lessons you have learned really invigorated me. Thank you for the inspiration. I am so grateful that you are sharing you story which will encourage me to share mine.
These quotes were sooo good. I’m not planning on moving abroad, but I am very stressed about my future & the mistakes I’ve made in my past. But like you said, “i didn’t come this far, to only make it this far”. I needed that. Thank you & God bless ❤️
Happy birthday! The lessons that most resonate with me are "it's not a coincidences; it's a sign," "choose the place that chooses you" and "when you take the leap the net appears" I'd been seeing a lot visual nudges towards France over the past year and finally, a colleague told me exactly what to do. Once I started reaching out, I was amazed at how.. seamless it was to get started. I didn't have to beg to be valued, they saw it right away and appreciated it. Unfortunately (or fortunately) my plans have been delayed due to covid, but that's more time for me to get my life in order for the next step. So hopefully I'll be learning similar lessons you learned next year. Anyway, I love that you care about your content and do your research/organize it concisely. The information you've been giving us is invaluable. I hope you know that your existence is a sign for many people too.
Wow, thank you so much for sharing this! I love hearing that when you saw the signs & took a step in the direction towards France, things felt right. Music to my ears! Wishing you all the best in your journey abroad in the near future. + You are too kind, thank you for watching & for your support! More to come!
Thank you so much, just searching for life in Paris, found you, then you have gifted Wisdom today!! You are beautiful as well, coming from inside to what we see/hear ...x
First wishing you a late Happy birthday 🎉🎂 then what a great video, loved all your tips and advices! Really inspiring and helpful! You got one more sub! 😁 We also decided to move abroad 5 years ago. We went to college in the US for 4 years and now we’re in Barcelona. So we couldn’t agree more with you going out of your comfort zone it’s so so so so important. We actually released a video about it as well where we give our 6 favorite reasons why you should move abroad! Can’t wait for your next video! ✌🏽
bonjour I live in new orleans but from new england and everything you have said about paris is the same to me when I moved to N/O. my family is French Creole.
Not a coincidence, but a sign. I’m currently living abroad, but will move next year. Was thinking of Paris and of course...here you are. Have been binge watching your videos ever since. Thank you!!!
💥CONTEST ALERT !!! 💥 I'm offering a chance for one of you to have a ONE-ON-ONE CALL with me for you to ask me any questions about moving abroad, jumping out of your comfort zone, transitioning into a new season, etc in hopes to help you on your journey!! ⭐THE RULES⭐ 1) Post to your IG Story a clip of this video that best resonates with you 2) Tag me in your story @itstiffaniedavis. 3) I will announce the winner on my IG STORY ON MAY 29th!! 🎉
YES gotta check out that Falafel....YUM....."when you take the leap, the net appears." Great outlook..so wish someone told me this when i was still your age, and not detoured by men who I was just really into and wasted too many yrs. No don't go Ingrid" blah blah. Still not 2 late but surely alot o wasted yrs. Been to Paris a few times(in my modeling days & and lately w/this guy. I always loved it. Love the culture and the way of life. My essence is very in line w/French. Cant wait to come back alone and for a good stretch of time. Ingrid aka Star
NY chose me. I wasn’t even thinking about moving there, but everything I was manifesting at the time happened magically and all I had to do was show up. It was a big leap of faith, but it was all aligned and worked out. I understand everything you’re saying.
Just loved your video, i could totally relate to your experience as i spent about 10 months in Paris for work and coming from India and being a vegetarian, I had my own share of ups and downs in Paris but I must say the experience has changed me in ways more than one. I had plans to celebrate my 32nd bday in Paris but due to cover-19 i had to return back to my country. I have regrets about not being able to celebrate my bday in Paris especially during summer but its ok- may be next time. I still miss Paris every day - i guess when things end we kinda understand that our lives are made beautiful by these moments of experiences. Reminds me of a quote- Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away. Keep smiling and have a good time till it lasts. Au revoir!
This is wonderful, Tiff! I actually paused and replayed #24 because it so resonated with me. And then #25 right after!! How true - the moment we ate Pain au Chocolat in Paris was memorable. ❤ Keep up the good vibes, because I always look forward to your videos. :)
All of these lessons are so good! I definitely agree that reading energy/vibes is something that we get better at with age. Happy Belated Birthday, Tiffanie! 🎉 Your videos are so inspiring and refreshing. Keep 'em coming!
Hi Tiff, love your Channel, and have enjoyed watching your adventures in France, etc. Congratulations on your move back to the states, and all future endeavors. Friends and I are traveling to Paris this spring, and we’ve been taking notes. Wondering if you’ve run across a good book on Paris, that you could recommend. Thanks, and keep up the good work. 😊
This is my favorite of your many wonderful videos. So much wisdom and so real the way you navigate life. Keep being you and know that you are at the right place doing the right thing. Merci!!
About the "bonjour" first : actually, it doesn't have to be in french. If you say "Hello / Hi / Goodmorning", it will be fine. It's just that if you don't say hello first, be it in french or in english, in the better case it will fell like you're intruding and in worst case it sounds to us like you're looking down on the person, like he/she is your servant. And most of the time, people will assume it's this last one because they think saying "hello" is a universal rule of politeness. I did when I was young so trust me on that. If they have no interest specifically on the subject of cultural differences, there is no way they'll know this isn't universal.
Girl I needed this post when I was in Paris last year in October. I’m a new subscriber to you’re channel and love to see a successful sista living the life In Paris... 😎
Hi again. Still Julie, still one of your newest suscribers.. one of your most seasoned suscribers.. but not necessarily most mature one.. hahah. Wow wow wow did this video resonate. I literally sooo needed the book reference you gave. I had just talked abou tthis very topic to a friend tonight.. and it sure sounds like it is exaccctlyyy what I should be reading right now. Thank you for the great video Tiffanie. You are amazing!
Hey! Is 28 too old to move abroad? I've already lived abroad twice (during uni) and a year after uni to do an internship.. now I'm wondering if it's too late to do it again?
Listennn!! Ooo if I had let the fears of others get in my way I would not be here right now! Heard it all my life - a mentor at one point even told me not to move to NYC bc it’s every girls dream and I wouldn’t make it 😒.
Since I do hair I'm 1000% sure her hair is in crochet. She has a vlog talking about natural hair shops in Paris. In Paris any you can go to Château Rouge or Château D'eau and there's always natural hair shops in suburbs.

I live in France but an UK person, lived abroad in Australia, America, now France.
