Why edit it so it looks so bad? That one line really deterred me from wanting to buy these.
The colour was just a bit too faint to be visible on camera so we had to edit but there was nothing wrong with how the brush glided on paper. :)

@@princessmanitari4993 Not every ink can be used,avoid pigment inks like Higgins black magic ink cuz the pigments can clog up the pen and instead use fountain inks cuz those won't clog up the pen

I am at the very, very beginning. I watched this video and was amazed your brush worked. I had purchased one, but it did absolutely nothing...it stayed stiff, water didn’t go through, zip. Stiff. Starched to hold a point for display... ran water over the brush and rolled bristles between my fingers, it worked! I can put pressure on an active bleeder, but something as simple as this? Your one video in re starting with shapes snagged my attention...I could do that! I would love to know the steps (in your videos) of how to start and then go to wet on wet etc. Too many videos assume one “knows” what precedes that video’s lesson. Not. I use jump logic vs linear, works great in one field... Retirement means stretching and trying new things. I look forward to more of your videos. Best to you.

I just used this today for the first time. My sister got it for me for my birthday and came as a set with a 42 color palette. At first I thought the brush would be stiff but it's actually very soft and easy to use... 😌😌😌 Now I just have to get used to using watercolor as I previously only used acrylic 😊😊😊

I have one, but strictly use it to lay water down. It could be used to fill with colour too, but dont fill with water the dip in paint, it was tint all the water. Great tool.

I did my most recent painting using just an aqua brush and found it so pleasant to work with as you have a constant consistent flow of water for a smoother, even coverage.
I was working with the pencils shavings from my inktense pencils and was able to do large areas without having to dip into the ink (or water).
my aunt gave me this kind of water brush pen as a christmas gift but i don't know how to use it but after watching this video, i surely learned a lot! thank you😔❤

omg same i tried to put water with watercolor in it
im glad i ordered some of these off of stationery pal! they were a decent price and its useful because you dont have to keep getting up to refill your water because it gets dirty! i dont have them yet, but what i see being useful, is if youre doing a lot of painting with them, get a normal bowl and fill that with water and then you dont have to get up every two seconds to refill the tube! i use watercolour paints for brush lettering aswell since the colours come out light and you can get a lot more colours! im rambling now im just so excited to get them :D

Is the water suppose to come right through the bristles? Mine seems to come out through the side of the bristle

I was looking at these and wanted to know how it worked- and I would like to say thank you as you explain everything so fluently and it really helped me out! ❤️❤️
I keep having this issue with my brushes where as im painting, the pigment and water keep sucking back up into the plastic barrel, meaning by the time im done with the color and i'm ready to switch out, all of the water in the barrel is colored and I have to replace it with fresh water. im not sure if it's the brush's fault or if im doing something wrong
Hi there! Sorry we've only just seen this comment. That is not supposed to do that at all. Can you tell us what brand of brushes you have?
Well It might be that it’s doing a suction effect. You may be holding the pen and pushing on it while painting making the clean water come out and becomes contaminated with pigment. Then the brush could suck that up if you don’t move it away or let go of that pressure. But, that might not be the case
Make sure when you apply pressure to the brush that you do it before actually painting anything, and release when there isn't any pigment at the tip.

Isn't the aqua brush is hard to paint because it is really thick than the normal brush
It's a little bit thicker so that it can carry a decent amount of water. It might take some time of getting used to, especially if you've been using thinner pens but it's not much thicker than a normal brush so it's still easy to grip! 😃

you can even use water color pencils on a seperate sheet of paper and use it as a palette with a wet brush :)

Just getting into watercolors and saw many versions of these but I so very wrong. I thought you mixed up the color IN the brush pen. I kept thinking that'd be a pain to change colors. Oof. Glad I found this video instead.

do it the other way its made weird i kept trying to unscrew it the normal way but you unscrew it the opposite

youre making hard work for yourself... to fill, with or without removing cap simply squeeze, invert into the water, and release. hold upright, squeeze again and repeat. you do not need to fill by tipping water into it :)

I feel like waterbrushes can help you when you don't have much money and space for tens of different brushes. There's waterbrush sets in Aliexpress and Amazon for dirt cheap and I think they can do everything :)

To "simply remove the top" is not simple. It's a reverse thread. So when you think you are undoing it, go the opposite way to undo it then it simply comes off..... ;-)

Hahaha I loved these but like i had a hiatus thats why the water inside yellowed and I see dark flakes which I presume is mold

I squeezed out water all the time to clean it and thought it was wrong (I thought you had to ‚dip‘ it into a jar of water like usual brushes but continued to do ‚my‘ way because it was handy), thanks for teaching me better :3

It looks warmer than an ultra marine blue but I can’t tell which it is so I’d be happy if you/someone could tell me
I am beginner for this brush.. after using it I could see color stains on the bristles... How should we wash them..
Just with water, and gently rubbing it against your fingers to get the pigment out.

I bought some water brush today. Never use them before. Is it ok that the tip is always full of water? I don't push the pen, I dry the tip on a towel, take a little color (solid), and the tip is again fully wet! I don't understand if it's supposed to be like this or the one that I bought are faulty (they're really cheap, like 3 of them for 3€ 😆)

I have this problem with my brush it does not want to open and I have the same brush as you I have the medium and the large and it is still not opening even if I unscrew it pull it or do anything

I screw the barrel back on the body but it still isnt working. The water comes out from the side and I cant paint its annoying. What do ypou recomend?
