Every time this song plays, I get this chill and I didn't know why at first but i think its due to me paying more and more attention to the lyrics and how strong I am NOW and don't realize my strengths. Just know that Jesus is praying on your behalf and wants you to know that your steps are full of life and prosperity if you follow him and don't faint during the hard times. I guarantee you, those people that you see in H.S. now will not be on your level in 10 years if you follow Christ- not just go to church, but really seek God with all your heart to serve and please Him.Trust me, I know. And because of the alienation, I now know why I had to go through those things in my early years.
And this is why Mandisa is so blessed...because she's real and vulnerable. God can only use willing vessels and she is so willing to be transparent and be used. I just love her!

Even Job said that man's days on earth are short and full of trouble. But God is faithful to bring you through all things. I stand on Romans 8:27-28.

I feel you. I experienced the same thing in HS (i.e. being a loner, eating lunch alone). I hated it! Years later, it doesn't mean anything. It's really a distant memory; and I don't regret standing out and being different now. It didn't feel good at the time, but it was the best thing in the long run. I wasn't as influenced by the world, therefore, being contaminated.
