I appreciate the dedication to Arnie, but Death Battle has a point: Robocop survives explosions, plasma shots, and beats back a hydraulic press... all of which are things known to destroy Terminators. I mean, that's kind of the whole point of the later movies- Arnie's Terminator has a lot of room for improvement and is definitely an inferior model.

@@bloodgroundgaming7871 that argument works both ways tho. Terminator can be disabled with a high caliber round through his head or heart, like in Genysis. Not to mention if you watched Sarah Connor Chronicles , Sarah and Cameron routinely destroy or disable many terminator (mostly T-888) units left and right. I ain't saying Robo is indestructible, but Terminators aren' either, and they got bested by even more inferior combatants than Robo...
As much as I love the Terminator, he's just a metal, strong, emotionally deficient human.
Robocop has weakpoints aswell ...terminator wouldve shot him there....waste etc the black parts? Are not armored...was necessary, otherwise he wouldnt be able to move

They take fictional characters, and they pit the abilities they have in their fiction against eachother, and use behind the scenes fact searching and science to determine who would statistically win. That's the whole point of the show x-x The actual fight you see is just for entertainment purposes, with the winner being determined by the numerical stats. x-x

Well this is about what we see in the entire series. For that reason I don't belive that would happened. Also, terminator was created in a world that robocop do not exist. In the other case, t-800 would be a better machine. Also, t-800 was blow with a home made bomb. Robocop in the other and is made out of titanium and withstood a lot of damage. I'm 100% sure that Robocop I able to defeat that particular model and both of them were crated for diferents ends. For that reason Robocop is a better machine. Based on evidence that we have seem.
Murphy under stress is a very good possibility actually. His brain still human with emotions. In robocop prime directives he has cry in a very emotional scene.

@@christianrissotto.gordohom3478 Not to rain on your parade, but Robocop squared off with Terminator(s) in the 1992 comics and the "Kill Human" (2011) crossover as well. The last one was pretty damn terrible but Robo still whooped their asses in both. :)

Also to clarify the person is not biased he chooses robocop because of pure facts so dont be salty about it. Also I am a Terminator fan as well so I get it when it comes down to that sort of thing.

No offense but, they were kinda explaining exactly how RoboCop won, and you guys were talking over it with how Terminator should have beat him. Which he shouldn't have. Now, I get that you two might have a softer spot for the Terminator, as I do as well, however I can admit when another character outmatches a preferred one

@@bloodgroundgaming7871 what do you mean by "That's not tied to the plot?" It's a movie, the plot is kind of everything. And if the plot has a character make a mistake, then guess what. That means they made a mistake x-x That being said, the visual fight that you actually get to watch is just there for entertainment. The only part of the fight that matters is the ending because it's decided based off the statistics they formulate when they calculate all of the characters perks and weaknesses.

I mean it doesn’t really matter, the fight itself is entertaining purposes only, if they made these fights 100% accurate a lot of these fights would be boring and one sided as hell.
The terminator has made mistakes plot or not. But again the fight entertainment only not 100 percent accurate.

This guys dad didn’t even listen to the reasoning why Murphy won. He was to in aww that he was wrong and talked over the explanation. Robo cop survived multiple things that a terminater couldn’t. like the homemade pipebomb while robo cop survived getting hit in the face with way stronger explosives.

The problem with Death Battle is that they use every incarnation of a character into one and when it comes western characters there may be a lot of versions of one character. They also have biases and make fan calcs on feats.
Personally the only ones I like are Dante vs Bayo and Guts vs Nightmare but I'll admit those are iffy. However all of those are eastern characters amd much fairer match ups.
i respect that, but i've seen a BUNCH of fights were they were the objective ones against the fans.
They arent fan calcs they are just calcs, literally like how in real life scientist do them to know a value for stuff, sane here just used for fiction
Also they changed their rules nowadays, they use canon mostly with few non canon stuff (although sometimes they screw up themselves with that)
Dante and Bayonetta was probably the best battle they've ever done and the most accurate in my opinion.
Unflrtunately , they fucked up Vergil vs Sephiroth, Ben 20 vs Green Lantern and many others cause of how they dump ALL versions of a character into just one big blender, creating a matchup that isn't very accurate
No they don't though? They specifically did Video Game Sonic and Archie Comics Sonic as Separate entities because they're so different, They've also avoided doing that exact thing with characters like Superman because there's versions of him that are literally the fabric of the universe. What about the MegaMan episode with 5 different Megaman's?
Most often thet make sure to be Very Specific about which version they're going to use, and which feats fall in line for that specific version of the character (I.E Did this thing another version of the character did outside of what the version we're looking at could do?). Like, the show and specifically some og it's best episodes almost wouldn't exist if what your saying was true and they just mashed every iteration together.
@@filipvadas7602 Feeling a battle didn't go the way you want/wasn't accurate enough does not equate smashing characters together-- Hell, with Ben 10 fans literally did that instead thinking one Ben was our Main Ben and using that as evidence as to why DB was wrong. Death Battle had to Prove that the character they were referring to was a Seperate Ben TO fans who were mixing them up.

No the Dad is spot on. It's a learning micro processor chip designed to analyze and counter humans with learning curves. Not to mention they chose to nurf th terminator. Ya RC is strong but he has LIMITS that DRAIN his 24h charge battery and strenuous damage to his body also depletes him. Ya the jet back charges him up but not super fast charge him. He needs time on it to help. Robocop should have Ben exhausted by the time his own bomb detonated in his face. Also the T-800 would instinctively attempt to hold into an arm or something long enough fo the fuel cells to erupt and destroy them both. It was COMPLETELY biased video. They could do a repeat battle but they know he would win and not admit it.
:D i knew ye ol' dad would react this way, maybe keep repeating the ending for him ;P (after the battle) btw, this deathbattle was taken from every source of both sides available, and terminator lost. -just like back then in the comics. you guys keep it cool ;)

Robocop has survived things that destroyed the T-850 and his arsenal is significantly more powerful
They shouldve blew em both up to keep both fans happy. Since the terminator held on to him when blowing up....and Murphy just put him on the jetpack?🤣 also....that jetpack was an attachment he didnt pull it out of his ass and that thing wouldnt survive an explosion but hey im fan of both

Technically humans are better than robots.
I agree with Dad, technically speaking Arnold is stronger than Robo and has Olympic level body building status while Robo is a regular human who has an enhanced suit similar to Arnold's skeleton. Arnold has the suit AND the body so he's definitely stronger
Um, you do realize Robocop is not just an "enhanced" suit, right? The only thing human that is left is the brain. The body is 100% a machine and pretty sure he can match another one like a Terminator in this case (he can literally punch through metal walls and tear down metal locks with just a single movement). Besides, this comparison seems a bit strange, since I thought we were comparing the robots, not the actors. :)
