If Rin and Yukio's mother were still alive and satin (in the anime) was still within her, I don't think he would be much of a father anyways. Maybe protecting them or something but overall, he just wouldn't be a "father" sense he doesn't have a form other than blue flames xD
Blue Exorcist is seriously one of the best animes I have ever seen! I mean, there is everything I want in an anime: action, adventure, humor, a hint of sadness, and a dab of romance! Plus, Rin is awesome!!! :):):)

I've seen the dubbed version, and I enjoyed it. I wish they would pull a Black Butler, and make another season that ignores the ending of S1, and sticks to the manga. xD
