Thanks for the stream of consciousness discussion. Our leaders like to keep us divided. The media helps them do this. It's our job to figure out what's really important and not be distracted by the constant bombardment of illusions and delusions. Great point about focusing on the _in the moment_ practice and avoiding the distraction of the desire for the result. "Here and now boys." I've had a few teachers and I can't remember any of them stressing this point. Maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention and overlooked the intent of their presentation. I appreciate the clarification of where our focus should be placed. Now, if I can just do that....
Both you and Roni's timing is always sooo on point, every time I find myself losing my footing and starting to slide one of you will post something that reels me right back in
Hi Damo love the content and the books, could you give me some help in unlocking a blocked micro cosmic orbit (at the upper back, just below the neck) is there a ren or du that needs acupuncture?
It was really tense. It took me a lot of reflection to pull myself out of it. I still am in some ways. It was not easy to see the world you grew up with and things you appreciated be demonized and demolished. I had to distance myself from people who felt the same way even because it was such a magnet for misery, greed, and domination fantasies.
Definitely feels a lot more chilled than a year or two ago. Not surprising really. And great that people can talk about things rather than conformity being forced. The people I know ("red", "blue" etc ) even feel more chilled than when things were being stoked up.
It really is up to us what we take in and put out. If legacy media is not giving a balanced or even true view of what is going on in the world, why orientate our thinking and lives around it. When it comes to any media, as far as I know none of it is true seeing as I didn't actually witness any of it. Direct experience is what matters and even that, once it has passed and the learning has been processed, it is over, move on naturally. It is so important to think for oneself.
Thank you Damo, as alway your videos seem to land at just the right moment for my training. Will now reflect on understanding the cause effect of each of my forms, and practices. As well as examining ME conditions🦩🙏
Have you seen the Kennedy 2024 campaign? He addresses some of these issues: "America is more polarized and divided now than at any time in living memory. Both sides seem to agree that the basic problem is the horrible people on the other side. Both sides are wrong. The basic problem is the division itself. A divided public lacks the strength to resist exploitation or to overcome the inertia of the status quo. The classic American can-do spirit exhausts itself in endless battles. So let’s heal the divide."
“I wasn’t at the pro-life march or the pro-abortion protest… I was visiting the Abe Lincoln memorial because of my love of Planet of the Apes” Now that’s a political stance I could subscribe to!
So grateful for your videos Damo, thank you 🙏

The effect of previous causes is to ignite the new cause in a chain of leaner development. Fantastic! Loved it D!

We are still greatly polarized in the USA. I doubt it will get better soon - even after the next election.
Went down to louisiana, new orleans. Thats a song, right?
