Very impressive. Will we get a review on the 360mm? Seems like it'll be a lot better than the LF3, which was slightly disappointing in both noise and performance.

This does seem like magic doesn't it? I don't get how jt can perform similar or even outperform the LF 3 420 AiO while probably having a radiator half the total volume? Is it the mounting kit that can just heat transfer better, magic in fans or a better pump? Seems like magic to me, probably the best 240 AiO ever which makes me doubt the results a bit.

the fans a quite powerful. i have a silverstone 360 and by comparison the fans on it are low RPM and low static pressure. to think theres a 240 thats cheaper and better performing...
theres probably some other magics going on as well. could also be radiator design or the pump idk

Would push pull industrial 3000 rpm noctua fans with the liquid freezer III 420 beat out the icemyst 420 from silverstone with the sane fan config?

100% that will improve thermals a lot

Will you test the Mugen 6?

Good review. How it performs compared to the arctic freezer iii 240??

    Suggestion:
Comparison video between the reference Iceberg Thermal IceFLOE OASIS 240, and the lineup of the most recent 240 AIO by Thermalright, which are a damn good valure for the performance Thermalright Lineup: they are ALL between 50 and 60 euro, on Europen Marketplaces)
Frozen Aqua Elite 240 V3 ARGB,
    Frozen Edge 240 ARGB,
    Frozen Notte 240 ARGB,
    Frozen FN240 ARGB
    ;-)

On 320w it’s shown that 360 version outperformed Nucleus cr360. @STSYT can you please confirm this. Is it really better (even though it cost half a price)?

How tall is it without the RGB cover?
    Could be good for SFFPCs.

I am not a fan of the rgb on the pump block. It actually look like a pretty cheap and dim implementation, like some cheap "gaming headphones" which for whatever reason have lights

It's funny how taste can differ.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it wasn't it you who was into visible LEDs? Like the old-school fan days where we had like 10 blue ones going around the frame?
Hey if that's your style, enjoy!

The mounting kit is .. well, it looks and feels tremdendiously similar (if not identical) to the one of the Silverstone Vida 240. I was a bit baffled, because I've just installed it on my S396 (S300 liquid cooling mod) last week, and was frantically looking into the design specs, but no .. not the same OEM (I guess). The Vida 240 has its pump built into the radiator, while this one .. seems to be a classic pump cpu block combo + rad.
Well, maybe its still the same OEM, ie. Apaltek. Or maybe Silverstone is doing a white-label design for Iceberg Thermal? :D
ps: just compare the mounting kits on geizhals - except for the fan mounting screws, which are shorter for the Vida 240, because of the slim fans, not just the mounting kit, but also the accessories like the fan splitter, the pump to molex cord etc. are IDENTICAL.

I wonder if the good performance is down to the fans, too many AIO coolers come with cheap low pressure fans ( I’m looking at you Arctic!) - fine for case fans but rubbish for pushing air through high resistance radiators.

I just switched back to an AIO, it’s nice but not much difference from the D15

How can this thing possibly outperform Arctic LF iii 420? I mean, even if it's good...a 240 outperforming or equal to a 420 with a thicker radiator and an additional cpu/prm fan? I guess the Arctic fans aren't really the best, but... It is difficult to believe.
Will you be able to get HYTE to send you a THICC to review?

FYI. As a professional. 4 years edu + letter. +30 years xp, +10k units repaired in component detail and xp about the effects of: electronic components, heat cycles and thermal paste.. add some mica too.. Most of the goop sold to pc comsumers is dilluted hysterically overpriced shit. Real thermal paste have the consistence of putty. They do not dry out but form a solid bond. The goop are much easier to apply and helps 3 degs the first years before disaster. It's all about hype, convenience and marketing. Real thermal paste you can get at professional retailer and they NEED have conformity specs i.e. "0.9 W/mK" If not, roll the dice.. The paste is not in a syringe but a small pill box. AND let me no go ranting about the joke "thermal pads" for RAM (go pro, use copper shims!). Useless a chewing gum too... Regards! Keep up the good work STS!

Please test also with AM5. Arctic LF III should perform much better with AMD.
