    ATTN: RUclips IS SHUTTING DOWN ALL GUN CHANNELS! I have moved over to Rumble. Others are leaving RUclips in droves as well. All my NEW content is being posted on Rumble and all my old content is being sync'd by Rumble and stored on their servers for preservation. My channel is easy to find, just search for "NFA Review" in the search bar and you can find me and subscribe! RUclips has given me 2 strikes so far on videos that weren't out during their new policy change. In addition they are deleting 5-6 videos of mine a week! They are doing the same to other Gun Channels and even the manufacturers that have channels. It's time we take our viewership over to Rumble! No more scrolling and watching non gun related content while we are logged in, no more fresh content, no more support. They don't want us here and Rumble has extended open arms to us and other free thinkers who aren't afraid to call BS on how far society has fallen! See ya on Rumble! - Adam

    Thanks for another vid! It’s been 263 days since I purchased my OSS HXQD 556 and 248 days since the ATF cashed my $200 check. Still not expecting it in-hand until maybe mid-late January. Had the displeasure last night of standing only feet away from an AR that went off when I didn’t have hearing protection. Pretty annoying.

    To all the snowflakes mad about the FBI contract…You realize that every firearm and suppressor manufacturer sell to gov agencies right? All of them. Gasp…even the ATF. The contract was brought up in the review because if the suppressor went head to head with every other 30cal suppressor offering and won, it's probably good enough for you and me. 🤷‍♂️ But go get all pissed off and emotional like the liberals do 😂

    This is awesome to hear how well that suppresser works. I have to ask though. Knowing how there made and the materials used why in God's name are suppressors so expensive? I bet this can be made for 150$ maybe less. A quality rifle is cheaper than alot of suppressors and that's insane. Think of a decent ar bone stock. 1000$ all day. Then u get this small piece of metal with literally 2% of the work put in for same price. I want one badly but the cost is stupidly high to me. Seems like pricing based on its "cool" factor

    • @beardly0121
      @beardly0121 3 года назад

      It might have something to do with the insane regulations and probably also has to do with supply and demand. There isn't a huge demand so supply is low thus price is high? Idk, suppressors should not be nfa items and the NFA is unconstitutional anyway.

    • @doejohn8674

      Titanium is very difficult to work and regulations are very expensive to manage... but you are right we should be able to get suppressors that work on rifles for 200 or 300 bucks, without any tax stamps or special permits (like we do need in Switzerland)

    • @leftyeh6495
      @leftyeh6495 Год назад

      I'd bet there's $200 in raw titanium. Then they have to be machined, welded, and coated.
      They're probably $400 to make. And they have to pay for the tooling somehow.
      You can buy $200 cans in europe, but they're considered semi-disposable and don't last long. Because of the NFA we want something that works very well and is a lifetime of use. We spend 5x more, but we get 10x the use out of them also.

    I have a question. You call yourself a reviewer(NFA Review Channel). To me, the goal of a reviewer is to bring all information they possibly can to their audience so the audience can make an informed decision on what product to buy or not buy. So I find it rather strange when you say you will not review a product from a company, especially a very prominent company (*cough* SilencerCo *cough*), unless they first reach out to you first. How can we, as your audience, take what you say seriously when the only products you review are ones cherry picked and sent to you by a given company?

    • @nfareview

      I used to work with SiCo at the beginning of my channel. My point of contact there and I had a falling out. They never mended that when he left. It's not my place to go around soliciting products from companies. If they want a review, they know where to find me. If not, there are plenty of Instagrammers begging for products. Watch their reviews. 👍

    So is it safe to say you will never address the question of why not use a decent dB meter, not as an absolute value, but to use the same meter in the same conditions so we can have an OBJECTIVE quantitative measure to determine RELATIVE loudness between tested suppressors. Please answer the question directly. And I want to add I really appreciate your videos!

    • @nfareview
      @nfareview  3 года назад +4

      I’ve used BK2009 meters in old videos. It adds a TON of work. I’ve yet to see a company in this day and age, fudging numbers. Not to mention I can meter a can here in FL on Dec1st and then in Georgia on Dec2 with the same ammo and host and it’ll meter 3-5dB different. This is why I hold my annual Suppressed Fest events. So you can come out and demo cans live in person from a plethora of vendors.
