Does the S4 have curved glass on the edges like the S3? One of my biggest pet peaves about the S3 was that the screen protectors couldn't go to the edge of the device.

A custom launcher only changes the home screens and the app drawer. Some things like the notification bar and settings are still ugly. But yes, flashing a custom rom would fix that.
Thanks for personal comparison, I still have the first galaxy s and was debating between the 3 or 4 to upgrade to. I think I might go with the 4 because of the upgraded system and graphics...hmm maybe not so much because of added apps.
The S4 was a minor update to the S3, just like the S2 was to the S1. I'm here waiting to upgrade my S3 to the S5, which should be significantly better.

When you're using these devices for the 1st time after a reboot, some applications may lag at its initial opening until cache is stored. Then you're good. At 1st boot l it will take longer for everything to settle in before it smooths out. The quad core will handle overall performance a little better but both of these devices have 10billion functions & capabilities most phones don't have, but the lag you see is only when a program is being opened for the 1st time & the only time you'll see it.
I can't wait for the international versions. I want to see how my int S3 stacks up versus the S4. And btw Samsung, where's my 4.2.2 Android? I want lockscreen widgets!!!!
sad that the s4 active has an 8mp camera as opposed to the regular 13mp on the non-active one. but idk if being it water proof and scratch proof was a better deal
The galaxi s4 has two optinal. the first one is the snapdragon 1.9Quad core. The secand one is 1.6quad core. Is theres any diffrent that affects the performance? Btw thx for the video!

No complaints the new s4 is amazing in every way my only suggestion is to not use the ATT app for wifi connectability as it is unreliable & a battery drain. After you disable smart wifi you'll have better/faster & automatic connectivity results. Adjust your screen brightness for longest battery life, which is now easy w/ a flick of your finger. As always voice recognition could be better. no application or camera lags!

I bought an S3 about three weeks ago. The S3 has had serious reception issues on 4.1.2 beginning my first day. . My previous Moto Droid X had great reception in marginal areas. The S3 will stutter, drop calls and lose GPS. I know Motorola has the rep of superior radios, but the rest of the phone MAXX HD, (screen and speakers) don't compete well w/the S4, and doesn't have a removable battery. I'm hoping the S4 has improved it's reception in Marginal areas. HTC One is beautiful but iffy recept.

I think its best to wait for a custom rom to come out for the S4. I'm assuming the S4 still has bloatware on it.
