Bought a bass to noodle on, as I play guitar and not really bass and picked up one of these to use. It's just a beginner bass amp but I think it's pretty good for guitar, which is what I ended up using it for. Works good with pedals.
I don't really have a source for the knobs. There are some matching sets of knobs on Ebay but they are kind of expensive. I would probably get a set of generic knobs as it would be cheaper.
Was it louder into shop 10" speaker instead of amp 8" speaker? Have same amp and debating whether different speaker vs better/higher wattage amp is way to go. Thx
It was louder using the external speaker, which is a 12 inch fender guitar amp speaker. Whether that is the way to go depends what kind of music you are playing. It would not be loud enough in a metal band competing with 2 guitars running through Marshalls, but it would probably work in a lower volume praise/worship band.
@@stratokev2 Thx for reply. Tried a Rumble 25 few years in band I was in and it couldn't keep up with heavy-handed drummer, 2 guitars, and bass. Just was seeing if BP15 could push a bit in smaller settings

Yes, works good with pedals too. I have another one with a broken input jack that I need to fix. Seems to be a common issue.

@@stratokev2 I just don’t need to know I need the whole assembly at solders ounce of the board on the inside the shaft is snapped off
Usually get parts from Mouser or Digikey. Sometimes from Ebay or Amazon though, depends on the project I am working on.
