I hate how often they write Batman as cynical asshole or a power hungry madman. That’s not what Batman is meant to be, in The Batman Animated Series of 2004, Batman once used the Green Lantern Ring to fight against Sinestro. Once the job was done and gave the ring back to Jal, Robin asked him how did it felt to willed the ring, and Batman just simply responded NOT my style. That’s who Batman supposed to be, not this. 😤

@@creek9311: The ‘REAL’ Batman would be wise enough to put down any type of ‘superpower’ they lent him, when the moment calls for it, not unlike this comic arc.
@@thedarkknight727 the "real" (original comic batman) would just murder the really bad one's, like Joker. Even flew around with a man hung by his neck from the batglider thing. THAT'S the real batman.
Edit: point being, I guess, is that og batman would likely embrace a given superpower if it meant being more effective at protecting his city and loved ones'.

I think while batman was sitting in the chair he became dumber. He knows there are 3 jokers then doesn't bother to ask about their identities. He can watch what happens in history then only uses that to torment an old prisoner. He can travel threw the multiverse and only thinks as small as to only help gothem... Did he do anything that would help anyone long term that wouldn't have happened anyways. The only thing he did was beat darkseid without his planet being used as a pawn, but with the Mobius chair he could've done so much more. I will admit I don't watch much dc so I'm probably wrong in a few things I said. Let me know I'm curious.

The thing about Batman is that he is smart enough to use the knowledge he has in a efficient way, if he really didn't want to, then no one would be able to make him get out of that chair.

With or without the chair, I don't think anyone in the DCU would be able to take out Batman - except MAYBE Superman, and only then if he did it preemptively, without warning. And even then, we're talking about someone with a contingency for everything; Besides Nth metal shingles and siding on Stately Wayne Manor, Batman would use Gotham City and Gothamites as human shields, knowing full well the man of steel would never risk harming innocents to get to him.
I like the theory but Superman only needs red cryptonite to solve that problem

"Capable of all there was and is" Yet the Universe was still nearly destroyed by a much graver threat while he was so laser focused on Gotham, Did he just ignore the much more serious things which were just as much of a danger to the people of Gotham as anything he managed to stop, Ooop something going on in Metropolis, oh too late to stop the start! I can still predict the enemy movements though but I decided I didn't need to worry about their tactics before it started and I have time travel powers, and don't move to be in multiple places at once to stop the outcome?
There was a lot of logic gaps in this series from my perspective.
I love Grail, the look, her ancestry &what she was born to do but thus is not a very good story. Lots of interesting concepts &ideas but they don't come together. And that sucks cuz I'd love 2c more of Grail in DC Comics. As much Punchline & The Batman Who Laughs that they force deed us, we should get more Grail. Bring down her power level a bit &have her beef w/ Starfire & Donna Troy or the Titans as a whole. Or let her brawl w/ Big Barda or Power Girl; the art is carrying this story it's gorgeous

This comic doesn't seem very good. Not because of the mobius chair but because every bad guy just ends up dying to an even stronger badder bad guy, and then that bad guy dies and is replaced with an EVEN stronger and badder bad guy ( Repeat process like 2 more times). Only for everything to be fixed essentially by the power of love and friendship. It's rediculous to the point of being lazy.
