I love interviewers like this gentleman, who is able to take interviewees' answers and weave stories and seamlessly move them into the next scene, so it is easy for us, the viewers/listeners to paint a picture of the person being interviewed. Kudos!
My dad was the same as hers..he didn’t like “crutches”...nor did my mother....it was their generation...they were children of the Great Depression...they believed in the stiff upper lip..they were strong...God bless them...I miss that generation...they took care of business and they didn’t whine about it...😘♥️here’s to the Greatest Generation!!!
Jane Fonda deserves a Kennedy Center honor. (So does Diane Keaton by the way). It’s a travesty they have been passed up on into their 80’s when some of the men get theirs at much younger ages and imo are no more deserving.
She’s still gorgeous I think. But yes, she was one of Hollywood’s beauties in her day. I don’t think she ever got credit for her work or beauty because so many Americans still intensely dislike her because of things she did when she was very young…She’s done so many positive things since but it never made up for the things she did that affected our POWs in Viet Nam
Now we should up our info. Listen to her master on OWN. Not to change anyone's mind but to listen to her understanding of that time. It was only fair of me to hear her words instead of other impression. Listening, that's it.
Tough questions always get the best results in interviews. This is a terrific interview.

Come on. She apologized and has atoned throughout her life. Stop living in the past and show some personal growth and forgiveness.
Sad
