heard this song for the first time during one of the music weekends when i was working in butlins back in 2018, anytime i get back to it, it brings back good memories
Chris helms has got some proper vocals ,went to see him and the sea horses live at Leeds town and country, thats one of my best memorys of the 90's Chris helms singing and john sqiures on the guitar brilliant
This is the most beautiful vocal performance from Helme on the platform hands down, which is saying something, considering how angelic his voice is. I am truly in awe of his vocal talent and wish he was more widely appreciated
Grea song this, I loved it when it came out and expected their new album to be similar but the demos don’t sound great. Still he was very privileged to jam with a legend like John Squire, and turned up pished and in a mood cos of the change in style or cos he wanted more of his songs on the new album or something!? Not into his solo stuff but still love the seahorses songs mainly squires ones to be honest
@@wayfinder6715 Ian Brown cannot sing live plus he acts like a knob on stage. I saw him at Brixton Academy in 2004 - shit. I’ve seen him with The Stone Roses - shit.
leon james aye fair enough mate but this version is still top drawer n don't mean to be cheeky but gawn listen to Ian Brown n stop posting bullshit on other songs ya fucking troll x

Well he did write it.

Would make you fall in love with him in seconds of hearing his voice 😍

Puts Ian Brown's vocals in perspective!
Totally agree on that one, Ian (Tone death) Brown
Once recorded helme sounds weak and dull. Brown on the other hand, one of the best voices ever to come from the UK.

Probably regrets his behaviour, he was a fair bit younger than squire.
When you realize that your kind of music in the 2000's was the best... then you listen this amazing Seahorses' acoustic
Maybe Chirs will never know this but we just made a beautiful noise together
Fucking shit hot!
Too blurish aye them with Richard ashcroft? for me original was great..hey ho!
Safe
FACT: Ian Brown CANNOT sing live - this guy can.
Phil Murray he can’t but at the Pilton Party sound check when he could hear himself he COULD hold a note.
Brown was good for the reunion shows. Even at his worst he’s better than Chris helme

Ian Browns done more for music in a day than he's ever done fact

Just simply brilliant 👏 👌
