- Ahead of releasing their new album Chop Chop, Dublin band Bell X1 came into studio for an acoustic session and recorded this beautiful version of the Roy Orbison song 'Mystery Girl'.

That's an absolutely stunning cover. They all have great voices but the guy in the T-shirt with birds on it is particularly good. He reminds me of the voices in my dad's old LPs from the '50s.

I saw them support u2 in croke Park.
Lovely songs but noonan clearly wasn't comfortable in front of the bigger audience. Didn't know how to work the crowd, stayed in the middle of the stage most of the time and looked afraid to take advantage of the cat walks. You need to play the crowd if you want to make it to that level of big

@Neil McDonough : that is actually incorrect. Bono and The Edge wrote the song FOR/WITH Roy Orbison for the album Mystery Girl. So Roy Orbison did not do a cover of it, but the original. Roy Orbison and his wife met Bono after a U2 concert. RO asked if Bono would like to collaborate with him for the then new album Mystery Girl. Bono had the song in his head and thought that it would sound the best if RO sung it.
+APerson I saw that same Doc when bono went off on one about it.
