At one point I'll edit the more overdriven files, doing a higher melodic phrase.
All recorded through an Effectrode Blackbird preamp, a boss tremolo, a Two Notes CAB and a GFI specular tempus room verb. Alder body with a maple neck. Hardtail bridge with brass saddles.
As I wrote in the intro, this video wasn't really meant to happen. It was a test I had done for myself a few years back. It's flawed. I could have reversed the Humbucker and gained an extra position toward the bridge, and I could have put into the mix a tele bridge, I could have selected a more middle of the road Strat pup. But these were the pickups I was interested in when I did it. And all in all I think some of you guys will find it useful, so I figured why not! I have more overdriven files (with more of a soloing phrase) as well, which I will compile next time I have a few hours of editing to spare! Subscribe for more! Thanks! G

SD Vintage Hot Stack came out really well in this, to my ear. TV Jones too.
The further back the humbucker got the more it came into its own, which is no great surprise i suppose.
