Belly boat fishing is definitely a relaxing way to spend a day on the water. It's under valued somewhat here in New Zealand. When it's the right day it can be a lot of fun especially when fishing for rainbow trout
It certainly is. I have one now so will be doing more of it this summer. Have a few spots I want to go check out.
@Crazy About Fly Fishing nice one. I know down here whenever you go to a lake and you see someone out on a tube, it makes you look up feeling a little surprised. You don't see the average kiwi out on them often, mostly on kayaks or small paddle boats. I'm hoping to get out on the tube in the next few weeks. Just been waiting for the right day
