    Turbocharging only increases mass flow, volumetric efficiency is a function of gas flow geometry influenced by valve size/timing/runner lengths etc.

    Thats not VGT turbo though ? that is VNT Variable nozzle the turbo type is not VGT variable gate. VGT makes the exhaust housing bigger or smaller.

    Just spit balling, but wouldn't it be better to run the turbo via an electric motor instead? At least the turbine wouldn't keep getting clogged up with soot and failing from constantly being subjected to all the hot corrosive exhaust gasses.

    Completely counterfoil exemple, in practice it's the exact opposite, WTF with that? take it real to avoid wrong work bullshit copy past and false comprehension, just blow in a turbo with compressed air and play with blades, you ll see the real deal, poor internet...
