To all beginner's, this level of passion is the goal.. it's just true feeling the music.. very nice

Then you look at Jon Gomm - PassionFlower, Andy McKee - Rylynn or Mike Dawes - One (Metallica cover) and then just give up playing cause at that point its about true talent and a stead fast dedication second to none.
As impressive as his skills are, when he plays he is laying his soul out to hear. It takes him to the master level. Artists of all types understand what I am saying. It is truly inspiring and humbling to see and hear this gentleman perform. So much respect....
I am a fan of Eric Clapton for over 40 years now. I can not remember how many times i have heard this song being butchered. But this was sublime! Thank you!

I just discovered Mr. Madsen here on YT. In general, I don't favor arrangements of popular music on classical guitar. So many of them don't work or the underlying song doesn't have the content to make a beautiful arrangement. Mr. Madsen then takes some well written songs and makes beautiful arrangements of them that work on classical guitar. He plays them with impeccable technique and tone and uses those tools to make wonderful music. He also demonstrates that he "gets" the music by "dancing" while playing the classical guitar. It's fun to see a classical musician get into the music so much that he can't sit still. Well done. It's a beautiful song and beautifully played.

I learned how to play stairway to Heaven from watching this man the classical way,, I am 63 and have played guitar since I was 6 years old, however it was rock n roll some blues and even some very hard rock, I truly regret that I had no one to introduce me to the classical guitar world when I was child so now it's all I want to play anymore.. It feels so meaningful and worth while.. May God bless everyone here

From his choice of songs and his sheer mastery of them, I knew he'd nail this one. It also seems pretty clear he's not doing it for want/need of money, and that just makes it all the more authentic.
