There are plenty of $50-80 running shoes out there, but they're not going to feel nearly as good under-foot as these. It's a world of difference. I usually just get last year's shoes for half price instead of doling out $150+ for the new versions I want. I have gotten some wild deals over the years, including $225 marathon race shoes for $40 brand new. I got last year's NB Rebel V3, two for $100 a couple of months ago...there are always good deals on shoes from last year after the new models come out.
@@not_tadashi6112no shit but your def not wearing the Rebel to walk around town. It’s not durable enough for everyday use and there is little heel support. The support is all in mid sole and front of shoe - for running.
@@d.homebreweryNot wearing every day? Says who? you have weak ankles? you test on rats to verify this? All i walk in is running shoes like ones mentioned on his list and I'm doing fine. Do some calf raises barefoot on some steps every now and then for your paper ankles 😂
I have always worn NB 1080s since v10 but they are getting uglier and bigger each year. The v14 has terrible colors. Even the white looks dingy yellow. I don’t understand what they are doing. I don’t like the invincible 3 nearly as much but they look so much better I had to go with them this time. The first time I have not bought NB.
been testing tons of shoes on my tredmill. And top running shoes. I even switch shoes every mile to compare. 1080 13 for the W. Not a top racing shoe but it's the most comfortable ride.
I just tried the ASICS kayano 31 when was to buy some Nike react running shoes and OMG… the most comfortable, supportive, light and stable shoes I’ve tried! 😳
@@hawghawg381 just because something has its reason doesn't mean it's proper. You as well had your 'reasons' to write up your comment, which in itself is a sufficient explanation to why your logic is flawed.
I've had the Rebels for 5 months and I'm not suprised it's #1, super comfortable and light, the only negative that I found was with the toebox, super breathable but very thin and easy to rip/puncture.
I bought the Alphafly3, but I'm gonna use them only in races, because they're insanely expensive. I'm looking for something cheaper to train with, like a daily shoe, but that performs decent and feels very comfortable. What do you recommend?
some have a very slim profile on the heel and very high off the ground could be very unstable so need to check em out first.. but i have like NB 1080, Asics Nimbus and Adidas UltraBoost which is very stable and soo comfortable.. my current fav is from Asics, quite affordable and offer more sizing option which are very nice for wide footers
I think the nimbus 25 are great for walking, there's not much difference from the nimbus 26 and they are on special like 119$ instead of 160$ for the 26. Also, next week is Asics specials week so maybe they're even cheaper. You can't go wrong if you choose nimbus 25 or the new balance that he mentions.
Definetly buy something that is in the middle of being a sneaker as well as being super comfortable, Ultraboost by adidas is one such thing , invincible 3 is good option too by nike Ultraboost has very good outsole and is very grippy
I've tried most of the list and you forgot Adidas xplrboost, for me it's 1, Nike invincible run 3 it's my 2nd place and new balance is awesome but somehow it hurts me in sole of the foot maybe because they're the most squishy
Do you have a site or someplace where you list your favorite shoes for each category? I think it could be cool to keep track of your current favorite shoes!
I've been buying only anti-pronation shoes for years! Because I immediately bend normal sneakers inwards, becoming unusable after very few outings. So, even though they cost a lot...I have to take them!
Why are all these shoes 4" thick on the bottom? I'd rather be able to have some groundfeel when I'm walking, running, or really doing much of anything.
Many commentors are getting on you for sneakers instead of running shoes, which i understand but they are forgetting that this is a casual wear channel and if it was so, the list could have had basketball shoes mixed in as well. But heres whats funny, some of those same people will call football soccer.😅
I walk 6 miles (2hrs) in the morning. I have over 100 miles in both the Hoka Bondi and Clifton. By the end of a walk in the Bondi I feel like I’m wearing bricks and my feet and calves are very fatigued. I’ve never felt that way in the Clifton’s. Cliftons are more comfortable for me.
I hate running shoes like this so much. They feel horrible to run in, and put pressure on parts of your feet that don’t normally feel impact, resulting in pain. What’s upsetting is that the proportion of shoes that are like this is increasing. The 1080 used to be a really good running shoe - now it’s almost unusable.
100% agree. The "rockers" that a lot of these shoes have are totally unnecessary if you're just walking in them. Doesn't feel very good for just walking.
Out of these, which one would you recommend for long city walking? I walk around 25000+ steps. My only requirement is great heel cushioning when walking.
And what’s wrong with that… i just don’t understand the ignorant comments made about short people… thank God you don’t have the power to create humans or we would all look tall and ugly like you ma’am
Have him try Asics Kayano 30. Super comfortable, Kayano series is known for its stability and support, so it should tick all the boxes. I have Kayano 28 so I can vouch for its stability and I have gel nimbus 25, which is supremely comfortable. Asics has combined gel nimbus 25 cushion with its stability technology in Kayano 30. So it's a deadly combination.
its crazy how now $140 for a pair of sneakers is cheap
he did say “relatively”
Bro the quality i got from the asics gel 25 made me forget abt the 125$ I spent, and they last awhile

Rebel V4 is comfortable, but dont expect the same cushioning like the 1080v13. I prefer the 1080v13 than invincible 3.
Same here, I have the 1080 v13 and rebel v4. The 1080 is softer and more plush

try the 1080 v13 or more v5, or nb balos for walking. nimbus 26.

New balance and ASICS. If you haven’t had one in your closet yet, get one.

Can you do this but with lifestyle shoes??
Lmao you mean running shoes pal.
where are the sockety sockety cloudfoam plush alpha zoom-boost z29's?
Look at Vaporflys too while you're looking at running shoes. Maybe even Adidas Adizero
I think that the on cloud surfers are far for comfortable, I tried on the new balances and they honestly let me down.
Same, Cloudsurfers are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I tried on the NB Rebel 4s but I didn’t like them as much as I wanted to.
@@Elli0tK1ng Cloudsurfer is nowhere near 1080v13 or Rebel v4 which is only 7oz

what about yeezy boost 350 v2? there were some releases this year
They’re pretty much as comfy as ultraboosts, maybe comfier. But not worth the price tag compared to ultraboosts
I saw the rebel v3 in Ann store this week
They rather looks like a running shoe 👟 rather than a sneaker…
All of the shoes in this video are running shoes, including the rebel
please advise between Pegasus 41 and Invincible 3? What do you recommend. Appreciate it. thanks.
I just got the invisible 3 daamn its my first running pair in 6 years its really comfortable
how much is your weight? rebel v4 seems harddd compared to my 1080sv13
Could you please try the adidas alphaboost v1. It is a shoe that i really enjoy walking on.
