We are getting dangerously close to creation of intelligence. If you have an AI that's looking at traffic data all the time to learn how to navigate, that's one thing. It's another when you start to teach it to learn about human behaviors and moral values. It may not understand what it means of a nuclear apocalypse. Even if you program safe guards in place, you could never be 100% safe because so many things can go wrong.
