How fantastic is Llyr?! You can go follow his journey on RUclips and also on Instagram: instagram.com/llyrs_veg_garden/ I'm looking for more gardens to film this year so if you have any recommendations please email them to: nominate@regenerative.media - Have a fab weekend!😀
What a great gardener! Llyr demonstrates that young or old, we can all learn how to grow food sustainably. I also love his use of repurposed objects to create planting areas 😀
What a wonderful young man. I am 50 years old but I see him as an inspiration for myself. I am just starting with my garden so such people lift my spirits and show that I will succeed. Thank you for this video.
Young man, good for you! The fact that you took this on yourself is amazing. We need more young people like yourself to carry on this way of life. Bravo Sir, Bravo.
I’m so impressed with this young man! He learned a skill during the pandemic, a skill for life. I also share his tip#2. Go big or go home! Why not? God bless him!
"and then I caught the bug........." . Yes. Yes you have---and it's the BEST bug on earth. Gardening provides a lifetime of good food , good exercise, and good mental health. You're a lucky young man to have discovered that......
"If you just set your goal on something, and just go for it, there is no harm in trying." Love his philosophy! It is great to see the creativity of that young man from Wales. What he has been able to create in two years is amazing, and he is just getting started.
Brilliant guy. I love the laid back way he explains how much time he spends working on his project, and the way he has things 'sussed', while remaining open for the future of his plot. He's going to go far, this young gardener ... definitely worth following! Thanks Huw for hosting and revealing him.
Fantastic to see our young generation getting into gardening. Keep up the good work, you will definitely save money in the next 2 years, as we enter a shortage of potash and plant feeds for commercial growers. Your food will also be much healthier, as mass production takes crops too early, to allow transportation time. Yet my son is a food biologist, so took my home grown in to test. The last few weeks of natural ripening is when the plants produce high vitamins. Plus Early pick has the wrong energy stored, which is difficult for your stomach to break down. 🙃
He named 4 people who have had influence on him in regards to gardening. All but 1 (his grandfather) are also where I have found inspiration and have had a positive influence for me in regards to gardening. I wish I had started as a teenager.
I love what you are doing, Llyr! You are walking in the footsteps of those you admire, putting in the hard work when you could be playing games. It will pay off for you in the years to come, you will be one that others emulate. Keep working toward your goals, you are so far ahead of others your age! Blessings to you.
so far, my favorite garden video this year, very inspiring for a 55 yr old woman to see a young man so creative and dedicated to learning and growing. A beautiful garden , I aspire to turn my garden into something so lovely ......Bravo from Mississippi USA
@@HuwRichards I must admit that this is a cracking series Huw, well done for organising it (I know the ammount of work and effort involved), it's "sit back in the chair" worthy...Steve...😃
Well done, I am 67 and live in Cape Town, South Africa and started my garden in 2021, I also planted trees taken from neighbors clippings. Avo, guava mulberry, lemon, fig and moringa.
Its a blessing to see this af his age. I lived in table view 90 and 91 for work. I loved Cape Town, the view of the mountain was stunning, plus the viewing platform from the cable car is absolutely fantastic 👌
I see I'm not the only one who found this young man to be quite inspiring. Thanks for sharing his story. I'd love to see an update showing how he progresses in his 4th year of gardening.
It's so inspiring to see other people my age doing such incredible things. Last year my mum gave me full freedom with our little greenhouse & a 3 X 2msq plot, and this year will be it's second year going. I'm planning on filling them both up to the brim with organic veg! so far I have strawberries, Italian giant parsley, leeks, beetroots, squash, onions & garlic, and this year I'm planning to add corn, peas and beans, butternut squash, basil, MANY tomatoes, and mint (underneath the squash so it doesn't go completely crazy) next project: convince mum to let me commandeer even more of the garden!
This makes my heart happy to see a young person take interest and hard work to build a beautiful and bountiful garden. I hope he can go onto teach young people how to do this. Congratulations for a great job. Arkansas, US.
Looks like this young man uses his time wisely and enjoys reaping the rewards of his labors! I’m so impressed! Imagine what he will accomplish in the decades to come!
I am gonna relax in the bath tube... No you are not, there is cabbage relaxing right now 😀😀😀 It's amazing to see young people starting gardening .... I have began since I was 16 ... It made me see world differently and value everything I grew by myself. Also, my soul heals every time I am in the garden...
Watching this on a -4*C (24*F) day is inspiring to this fairly new gardener, makes me look forward to our Kansas spring in 63 days! Bravo young man, you’re a Huw Jr.!!
Bravo! Love your method and medium. Great people are Huw and James P. ... they are well known and appreciated here in the USA! Keep up the blessed work! xo
Unbelievable! What an inspiration! 🙏🏻❤️ it’s giving me hope to see so young people with both: a huge vision, the ability and the will to go for it! Awesome! Thank you! 🙏🏻❤️
Caught the bug after the cuttings rooted. Reminded me of the first raised strawberry bed I made. It was a complete success and there was no turning back then! A lot of people mentioned cucamelons, but his report is the first one that made me think I might like to grow them.
Reminds me of Huw when he was really young and first started making videos and Lok where that's led him. Good luck to the young lad. Has got a good head on his shoulders and a hard worker at that age is a rare thing these day.
I love the passion for gardening, work ethic, research and good sense that this great young gardener shows….just awesome. Like him, Charles Dowding, Huw and James Prigioni were inspirations for starting our urban food forrest and no dig veggie garden, started in lockdown 2020….being self-sufficient and regenerating our soil. Good luck to him from New Zealand, joyful to watch, thank you!
