Stray Kids incorporates dozens of different genres in their songs and are never afraid to try something out there which sets them apart for the most part, mainstream K-pop. All of them are multi talented in rapping, singing and dancing. They mainly produce and have control over themselves and have a catalogue of over 150 songs mainly written by Chan the leader, Changbin and Han. Back Door, Topline and for something slower Taste and Slump are my favourites.

You choose the song of their new album with most genre switches , I think you should try with their last music video Topline, or with Thunderous, Venom, Freeze, Gods Menu, Backdoor, Maniac well any song you will like it for sure, Thanks for your reaction
They also have some slower, more chill songs, and sub-unit songs e.g. rap driven songs like “Hey Day” from 3RACHA, the three producers in the group,, but from your reactions so far, the ones recommended above probably suit your tastes best. They’re high energy and full of great raps and beats.

S-class is a song that Skz themselves described as annoyingly catchy. I’d check out the b-sides from this album to get an idea of some of their range - DLC, FNF, Get Lit, Topline, Time Out and Youtiful all have music or lyric videos and Item, Super Bowl, Collision and Hall of Fame are just… wow.
Their discography is HUGE - think 160 songs since they debuted in 2017 and they write and produce all of their music.
You can just pick a song and it’ll be awesome. But crazy music videos would be Maniac,Case 143, the sound, God’s menu and Thunderous.

Thank you for your reaction. First time on your channel and so glad you reacted to this video. Stray Kids debut in 2018 with 9 members and lost one in 2019 due to personal reasons. They are self produced group and have the best music videos and transitions. Their choro always matches the lyrics. Lee Know (sparkly pants in the beginning) use to be a back up dancer for BTS in 2017 during their Japanese tour. Leader Bang Chan is from Australia moved there at a young age and is fluent in English with an Aussie accent. Felix has one of the deepest and most unique iconic voice and vocal range from tiny voice to deepest the ocean blues. Felix was also born in Australia and knew only basic Korean language when he moved to Korea at the age 17. Changbin, Han, and Hyunjin have been top 10 fastest k-pop rappers for the last 3 years. Besides being self produced what sets them apart from other groups is they have so much creative control on what they produce and put out. They are the first k-pop group that their company JYP Entertainment let the leader hand pick all his members because the leader had being training for 7 years since he was 13 years old. He is multi talented with guitar, piano, ballet, jazz and so much more. He is the one that creates most of their beats, and unique sounds and melodies. because they have so much control they produce more music videos per album. with this latest album 5-Star they have 12 tracks with S-Class being the title track they have 5 more music videos for their B sides one released today all English song called Youtiful. (you are beautiful), the others are a must see too. Get Lit m/v, TopLine m/v (feat. rapper Tiger JK), DLC m/v (dance like crazy), and FNF m/v (written by leader bang chan and Felix in memory of the lost Flora & Fauna from the 2021-2021 Australian bush fires). If you like rap heavy songs they also do them you have iconic legendary Gods Menu m/v is the most view over 400 views), Venom m/v, Freeze m/v, They love to experiment with music, sounds, genres, beat switches many times in one song. They do it so flawlessly to make amazing music. They have massed over 170 songs and the list keeps growing. They are getting ready for a japan comeback soon. The lase 3 title tracks hit the #1 billboard 200 charts and Stray Kids now holds the record for the most pre-ordered album in Korean history with over 5.13 million pre-order stock. This number is also a major jump from the 2.3 million stock pre-orders recorded for their previous album Maxident. But my favorite album is Oddinary next to this album 5-Star. All the members can rap, sing and have amazing vocals despite the rolls we normally see them do. Not only do they have the most music videos, they do skz talker before and after each concert, skz-talker varies types of video, the release mini movie concept trailers before each comeback, video logs, various variety shows, and interviews, Japanese m/v, 2 kids talk rooms between members, unit songs within the members. Stray Kids chemistry within the group reminds me of how BTS has the same chemistry group vibe. They really care for each of the members and always giving each other hard time or positive feedback. Love to see more stray kids reactions and if you want to get to know the members their is a 2022 deep dive guide that is only 20 min long by Johnathan Miller Music called the Rise of Stray Kids. It not only is very member informative but also a small background on k-pop in general and how Stray Kids is helping keeping k-pop on the map globally, along with all the previous groups like BTS, Big Bang, Shinee, Rain, Girls Generation and etc. Fandom name is Stay named by the leader Bang Chan who also name the group Stray Kids and the log is in is own handwriting and on every korean m/v at the end you will see their quote. Stray Kids every where around the world, you make stray Kids Stay. They named fans Stay because you take the R out of Stray and the R is the reason Stray Kids stay. They love to play with words in English and Korean. They are creative genus, like G-Dragon from Big Bang. Stray kids are unique and odd and that is what makes them special. They can do any genre and make it perfect. Catch you on the next video. Sorry I am passionate with my first love of k-pop since 2019, even though I love all of k-pop groups. I have been around this world a long time and love music, and probably twice your age and still can't get enough of k-pop music, and K-pop are the best in entertainment to me.
Amen to that. I agree, been around music my whole life, different genres, always enjoyed. KPOP hits differently, especially the boys. I b don't enjoy my music anymore, I love it. Or why else would I spend $4k for a STRAY KIDS experience with my daughter?

The amazing Stray Kids. Eight multi-talented members all of which can sing and rap well, amongst other things. They compose and produce 99% of their music and have been doing so since pre debut. Their leader, Bang Chan, handpicked the original eight members (one left in 2019) and then they had to go through an ordeal of a variety show also named Stray Kids to prove their right to debut together. One of their most original songs, Hellevator, was composed for one of the assignments during the show.
You rightly noticed they sounded different. They are considered their own genre and nobody else sounds like them. IMO, their debut song, District 9, is a statement that they don't want to do the same as everyone else. But their discography is large and very diverse, with iconic songs but also beautiful ballads at the other end of the spectrum. Their lyrics are always smart, and often meaningful.
FYI, I understand that the Octopus in this M/V is a take on a blockbuster Korean movie called The Host about a monster in the Han River created from pollution. As you may have noticed, there was a lot of garbage referenced in the M/V, which was also partly filmed on the Han River.

I’m a Stay (Stray Kids) / VIP (BIGBANG) and really enjoyed your reaction. They write and produce everything themselves. Bang Chan (Chris) the leader suggested that the best song to listen to first is God’s Menu which tells how they are chefs who make a menu of music for everyone’s taste.
To the Cousin, West Side Story is the best musical as far as I’m concerned but I’m still trying to figure out how you came up with that watching S-Class, lol but I love you for it. I subscribed.

"Different " is a word often heard from new listeners. Once you hear more of their music, you will realise how much they do not sound like typical Kpop. They have been only around for 5 years officially, but they have so many songs and cater to all tastes. If you want something so so different: the tortoise and the hare, Side effects, double knots. Popular ones: God's Menu, Back Door, Maniac, Venom. And these are just the tip of the ice berg. They write and produce the majority of their music. Of course, they have outside or in-house help for some , but the 3racha (3 of the members) is the brain child behind, I would say all of their songs. And they are amazing live. Enjoy the journey because you won't be disappointed . Take care.

Enjoyed your reaction to Stray Kids and had to smile because these 8 talented young men had to struggle greatly in the beginning because they were so different from other Kpop groups and the industry initially looked down on their ‘noisy, construction’ music ( You’ll note many references in their songs).
But when the BangChan ( aka Chani aka Christopher aka Chris our fearless leader) and the other members Changbin and Han of 3racha ( yes, like the hot sauce) had the support of JYP and their company they stuck the painful time out and Stay are so proud of them for doing so.
Other comments will have tons of song suggestions and without a doubt you will be kept busy watching their music and hopefully like millions around the world, grow to appreciate their talent, too.
A little note: Chani always insists that Stay be polite and generous towards other Kpop groups and he himself when time allows will do ‘lives’ where he listens to other groups as well as their own ( haha he’ll often cringe at some of their funnier ones). And be aware that he loves watching reactors to their music. 😎

Stray Kids are awesome, they suit my ADHD. This video took them 5 days to shoot. Your next one should probably be God's Menu. Then Hellevator, so you see them pre-debut. Then Back Door (can't wait for a WSS comment ...), Miroh and Thunderous. For some different sides of Stray Kids: Side Effects, The Tortoise and The Hare, Third Eye, Slump. Stray Kids is DEEP rabbit hole - they are a self producing group with literally hundreds of copyrights between the members. They cross multiple genres and create a ridiculous amount of content.
Side Note: I saw the EOD flag, were you?When? I was USMC a lfetime ago and husband at the time also USMC EOD.

We all have our favorites, and I'm sure you've seen many requests for their more "well-known" bangers. Honestly, there hasn't been a single track that hasn't appealed to me in some way. You really can't go wrong.
If you like a more aggressive sound, my go-tos are: Easy, Double Knot, District 9 (their official debut song - which just shows how very talented those teenagers-at-the-time are), and All-In (a Japanese-released track that doesn't have captions - but the song/MV is saur good!). As a new Stay, I hope you'll pay attention to release dates for anything you watch, to help you appreciate just how they developed themselves and honed in on their "sound". Do not confuse that with getting into a "rut", because their sound includes multiple genres! [As you just heard!]
If rap-based tracks are an interest-- 3Racha, We Go, and Heyday are just the tip of the iceberg for their talents. FYI: 3Racha (the producing unit for Stray Kids) was formed by Bang Chan before the Stray Kids' debut process began. It consists of himself, Changbin, and Han. You can search for Stray Kids, SKZ, and 3Racha for options... When you learn individual names, I can promise you'll find even more content!
As @learly987 pointed out, they are fascinating in person, as well, and non-performance centered-content is just as addicting. I've been exploring their extensive catalog for a few months, and there are still many songs I've yet to hear. This is a VERY busy, dedicated, prolific, and charmingly chaotic group!
As you get more familiar (I hope!) with their music, you have to check out live performances. You have to.

But when you already into Stay Kids and want more - start listen any other song and it will hit too. I know them just 3 month, but already have 60 songs in my daily playlist. It's just insane, how their music so good and catchy!

They have another more traditional Christmas song called 24 to 25, but Christmas Evel is very unique. The second sample is Case 143 (Case I Love You.) Although they have other love songs, Case 143 is their only TITLE TRACK love song ... Stray Kids style. 😍
Also, a fun and quick introduction to the members is the FAM M/V, the Korean version, not Japanese. Each member is introduced from youngest to oldest, and it's very cute and fun.

For now I recommend: Item (no MV for this one), Thunderous, Venom, Easy, Slump, Secret Secret, God’s Menu, Maniac, Case 143, Hall of Fame (no MV for this one either), Freeze… ok stopping, but there are a lot more. Because they produce their own music Stray Kids have a sound that is distinctly theirs, and have been credited for creating a unique music genre called “mala taste”. I hope you will choose to listen to more Stray Kids, there is a lot of great music for you to discover, and I’d love to see your reactions.

I haven’t gotten real deep into Stray kids like with BTS, don’t know that I will, but I have checked out dance practices and 2 of the members personality video’s, 1st is Felix , his deep voice which you will hear in god’s menu, had to check him out, his visuals are insane and he speaks fluent english, but what freaked me out the most was, he is Australian with that Aussie accent, he’s funny, has a great relationship with his family. Then the other Aussie in the group in Bang Chan, both are a hoot ( showing my age with that word) they are so good with kids too, one show they were on they cooked with Ben & William famous for dad’s show return of Superman just loved watching their reaction to the kids questions

They are a group who write their songs and do the beats themselves 99% of the time. They have a unique sound that no one seems to be able to copy. I recommend checking out their recent song Topline next and maybe even do an album review as well. The album 5 Stars broke records and literally has no skips!! I love seeing people getting to know stray kids. They are truly special in countless ways both as musicians and as humans.
They are mostly self produced, the producing unit is made out of 3 musical geniuses and their names are Chan, Han and Changbin - aka 3racha, they have a self titled song and I would recommend it highly 👌 3racha by 3racha.

Stray Kids are not what is considered traditional Kpop. One of the many reasons is 3 of the members known as 3RACHA produce and write their music; all members have contributed to writing lyrics. This is not common in Kpop and very few have had the privilege. They also don’t have assigned roles as all 8 members can sing, rap and their dance sequences are insane. Also, the deep voice member is Felix and his vocal range is broad. I recommend, Hellevator, District 9 and Victory Song, these are songs that occurred pre-debut and debut albums.

They are a 4th gen Kpop group, they are self produced and write most of their own music (the sub unit that writes their music is called 3Racha with members Bang Chan, Han and Changbin). There are 8 members, Bang Chan their leader, Felix, Seugmin, I.N., Lee Know, Han, Changbin and Hyunjin. They are known as a “noisy”group. I love their music and the energy they bring. They just released a new album 5 Star and a few MVs you should definitely check out S-Class.
