In Australia we had a short lived Mountain Dew Dorito which had neon green dust on them.
They made excellent fire lighters.

Back when I was in college, like 2007-2010ish, Doritos came out with those "late night" flavors. They had Tacos at Midnight (which of course became IMMEDIATE euphamism for getting laid), "All Nighter Burger", and "Last Call Jalepeno Popper". THese immediately became our actual snacks of choice for late night study sessions and low energy chillin in the dorms or whatever. Glad to see them brought back, if only for nostalgia's sake on my part.

late night cheeseburger is king. i remember when it came out as a "limited release" and fell in love. i actually didnt know they returned with the late night sizzlin flavor. and now i need to look into more stores to see if i can find my beloved chip

Don't feel bad Jessie, I have no spice tolerance either. I'll also say, the Sweet Spicy Chili ones get hot if you eat them real fast. They're my favorite, but the spice does kick in eventually
Sweet chilli heat has been my fav since I was a kid. Dill pickle I liked a lot to but it got discontinued here.

As an Australian. I've never had Cool Ranch Dorito's, so I have to assume they don't exist here.
I know that in some places they’re called “Cool American” instead, not sure if Australia’s one of them though.

I think they experimented with introducing Cool Ranch to Australia because I saw them on shelves for a short time, but I have to assume it didn't go well becaise they're gone now. Pretty sure I tried one and didn't like it, I just don't think ranch is a flavour Aussies like. The big 3 flavours in Aus are Nacho Cheese (yellow bag), Cheese Supreme (red bag) and Original Salted (green bag). Theres also some less popular ones like Mexicana (orange bag), Cheese Supreme Flaming Hot (purple bag), Thai Sweet Chilli (also purple) and some other limited time flavours.
@@Moheeheeko That makes sense. I'm in the UK and was going to say the same thing but I have had cool original but rarely see them. I like Chilli Heatwave. I'm assuming like cool original its one of these ones they tried with a different name
I know right? The space where Cool Ranch feels like it would be at Coles and Woolies is just filled with Original Salted and three trays of the jars of salsa, so thinking about it... WOW we don't actually HAVE Cool Ranch.
Okay, now do condiments next. I suggest:-
Tiptree gooseberry chutney (served with a sour cheese and ham)
Bovril (served on hot toast)
Horseradish sauce
Branston pickle
The wonderful rich onion gravy served with Czech knedlíky.

And today I learned the UK apparently has different colours for the flavours of Doritos, we have orange packets for Tangy Cheese (I assume name is different but it's the same as Nacho Chesse), and the red bag is for Chilli Heat Wave, we also recently got a purple bag which is very tasty and is it's own type of spicy sort of taste, also we call cool ranch, cool original because ranch dressing isn't really a thing here
We have the Taco Flavor Doritos from when my parents were kids at our store in the Carolinas. Every time we see it in the store, we grab it. They are our personal favorite.
Taco flavor is the best flavor

But I'd love to see a Pringles tier list.
The Sweet Chili are my childhood classic, so they'll always be a top tier. There's also the dill pickle, which you can't really find anymore, they have a couple mixed packs of Dill Pickle and Cool Ranch, and maybe it's just because I'm a trans girl, but I love me some dill fucking pickle. The Dill Pickle Doritos had this nice creamy flavour you can't get with other Dill Pickle snacks.
Sweet Chili Heat are ELITE
Spicy Nacho has always been my favorite. Perfect blend of flavor and kick.

I tend to go with Cool Ranch (i just bought some a few minutes ago) and then Nacho Cheese as a close second
9:16 Spot on Lani. Salsa Verde is best enjoyed IN a plate of nachos with a jar of salsa and shredded cheese - maybe even a drizzle of sweet chili, just for funsies.
However, as some of the other comments are reminding me, I'm actually thinking of Original Salted, because our flavour range in Australia doesn't even have Cool Ranch by default.

My favourite Dorito was a limited edition flavour in the UK, Jalapeño Fire.
There a a bunch of corn snacks in the UK that are generally considered to be kids snacks (Space Raiders, Transform-A-Snak, ect.) That have a generic "Spicy" flavour that is very nice, but have no actual heat behind them.
Jalapeño Fire Doritos had that enjoyable flavour and actually had a fair amount of heat to go along with it.
As someone who hates corn chips, this was a fascinating watch. (They're too crunchy and dry to me.)

OG, Cool Ranch, Spicy Nacho, Salsa Verde, and Sweet Spicy Chile definitely deserve to be in S tier
My top three Doritos flavours:
1) Ketchup
2) Cool Ranch
3) Zesty
Other flavours are good, but those are the best ones.

They just brought back the Blazing Buffalo Ranch like a month ago where I live and it's my favorite and I'm SO HAPPY IT'S BACK!

I see a few flavors missing here. Buffalo Ranch being one of them that immediately came to mind.
This made me remember a limited edition flavor we had in Mexico in 2008-2009 iirc. Doritos Toro, they were habanero and cheesse flavored, and they were great. You got plenty of cheese first, and then the habanero, which was spicy (at least for 8-9 year old me).

on Nacho Cheese vs Cool Ranch: I find that chip-for-chip, the Cool Ranch is going to come out on top. But for Cool Ranch, there is going to be a point where I've decided "I've had enough of these for now," and that moment just never comes with Nacho Cheese. I can eat those all damn day.

my favorite Dorito is the jumpin jack flavor which was like a queso flavored Dorito. i randomly saw ONE bag of it at a gas station, fell in love and literally have never seen that flavor ever again. i can only hope they bring it back eventually

I am absolutely obsessed with the new Fiery Mango Doritos. They're hard to find but so damn good if you like spicy/sweet.

In Greece there's no Cool Ranch Doritos, my favorite's the Sweet Chili

I miss pizza flavored Doritos from the early 2000s. Even when they were only available in a combined bag with another flavor, which I can't remember, thry were still great.

Spicy sweet is the absolute best flavor because you taste the spice but the sweetness cools down the heat.
I really like these videos! The Oreo one was fun! But thi k you guys ranking system could be a little simpler, I liked that in the Oreo video you had a default flavor and judged the others based off it, but I don’t think you need to compare all the Flavors against each other, it might be easier to just have your default flavor and then rank the other as either The Same , Better or Worse, so you don’t have to have a complicated list, just a suggestion but I like this videos I hope you guys do more !
I miss Doritos Jacked Ranch Dipped Hot Wings. They were spicy but not so bad you can’t eat a bunch of them. Very flavorful as well. So sad they got discontinued.
Supreme Cheese is my favourite so it was a surprise to see that you didn't have them there in the states.
Spicy nacho was always my favorite. Now, it'd be plain chips with spicy hummus or something like that.
I cant control myself around those Queso sticks, ive gotten them twice and eaten the whole bag without thinking about it.
