Jokic is unbelievable. I have never seen anybody, with the possible exception of Larry Bird, who has such a ball-handling talent. It's not human. What is even more amazing is that it is a developed talent rather than inbred. It takes an incredible amount of focus to achieve what he has. Nicola became the best player in the world because of the love he has for his family. His brothers left home to play and to work when he was a still a child and the separation was traumatic. Basketball was the ticket to keep them together.

on some real shit he deserved the MVP for the third time come on now 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ but like how mexicans say el que rie al ultimo rie mejor lets go jokic💪💪 made the league look like a fool🤣🤣
Actually he decided to enter the NBA draft because he wanted to be with his gf (now wife) who had left for the US on a volleyball scholarship. He didn't care that much for the NBA, it was Natalija that he was missing.
I started watching NBA last year because Jokic is born in Sombor (1 hour from where i lived) and Murray is born in Kitchener (3 hours from where i currently live). Hearing there was a move called Sombor Shuffle made me laugh. I just wish Murray wasnt so lukewarm with his performances.
Don't confuse the politics of the Balkans with just how easy people from the Balkans get along... Doncic, Marjanović, Jokić, Dragic, Zubac, Nurkic, Vucevic, Cancar etc. all get along and are close
That's a good point especially now as more than 2 decades have passed since the fighting and disintegration of Yugoslavia. I read of some hostility between Serbian and Croatian players in the 1990s in the NBA when fighting was ongoing in Yugoslavia. I worked with Croatian and Serbians on a language program at the University of Tucson in the late 1990s and there were some strains at times. In the modern NBA, I'm sure the players from the Balkans relate very well to each other.
@@randygraham926 I know because I observed their interactions, on and off the court, while they were on the same team and later on different teams. I would describe their relationship as passive aggressive at best. I also know of a huge argument they had over the war, Jokic wouldn't let Nurkic spread his propaganda. I don't know if it ever got physical, but I saw them pushing each other a few times and just avoiding each other completely most of the time. Maybe at some point they did try to make it work🤷🏼 I'll make sure to watch games between their teams next season and see how they interact after the game, but I can say with 100% certainty that Jokic/Nurkic relationship is strained, especially when you have insight into the beautiful relationships between Jokic and both Bobi and Doncic (as an example). It's my belief that they traded Nurkic not just to make room for a more talented Jokic, but also to take the constant stress of dealing with Nurkic off him and make him happy. The rest of the players mentioned are all ok and most of them are at least 50% Serbian. It's my understanding that Jokic gets along with all of them. Things probably aren't as bad as they were in the 90s and a lot of it really depends on the individual. But on the whole it's important to keep in mind that the strain will always be there, it's hard to get passed ww1 and ww2 genocides and ethnic cleanings and of course the 90s then as the cherry on top. This can be observed even in office environments. Jokic was only a child when he was bombed and poisoned with depleted uranium and his wife was a baby when she was ethnically cleansed in 1995. He may look cool, aloof and indifferent most of the time, but you can bet he has some strong feelings and PTSD for life. It's not something he'd ever bring up because he's not that kind of person, but he also won't let others (ie Nurkic in this case) talk trash. Team owners and coaches need to be very careful of how they put together their teams.
@@randygraham926 During the 1990's in the high pressure situations of European football, the likes of Savicevic and Boban at AC Milan, Mijatovic and Suker at Real Madrid, Boksic and Jugovic at Lazio etc. were all good friends... It's only when politics is brought up that the issues start
By understanding that basketball is not only gym and hoops. There is a lot to learn in theoretical part too. And when you know all theory, you can then invent new things like inverted pick and roll or triple screen. And you can for sure see the game differently.

on some real shit he deserved the MVP for the third time come on now 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ but like how mexicans say el que rie al ultimo rie mejor lets go jokic💪💪 made the league look like a fool🤣🤣
Dude, there are no burgers in this story! 😂 Burek rules
The nuggets would be lost with out the Joker
Actually he decided to enter the NBA draft because he wanted to be with his gf (now wife) who had left for the US on a volleyball scholarship. He didn't care that much for the NBA, it was Natalija that he was missing.
That's interesting! Especially that she's an athlete as well.
Pass at 0.29 Watched it three times and still don't know how he did it
We couldn't of won a championship with out this man the joker
I started watching NBA last year because Jokic is born in Sombor (1 hour from where i lived) and Murray is born in Kitchener (3 hours from where i currently live). Hearing there was a move called Sombor Shuffle made me laugh. I just wish Murray wasnt so lukewarm with his performances.
It took the whole team to become the nba championship but the Joker is the main reason why they beat the heat and through the playoffs
Bring power lifter (Jokić) and body builders ( Lebron) and Jokić will lift 50% more… check strongest man competitors , you will see Real Man build
Don't confuse the politics of the Balkans with just how easy people from the Balkans get along... Doncic, Marjanović, Jokić, Dragic, Zubac, Nurkic, Vucevic, Cancar etc. all get along and are close
Actually Jokic and Nurkic were at each other's throats
@@XYZOxyz How do you know that?
How does one achieve a high basketball HQ?
By understanding that basketball is not only gym and hoops. There is a lot to learn in theoretical part too. And when you know all theory, you can then invent new things like inverted pick and roll or triple screen. And you can for sure see the game differently.
