Nastia Liukin was one of the best artistic gymnasts of all time and the very last American who performed according to the original artistic gymnastics scoring system before it was changed around London 2012 Olympics into awarding the most powerful gymnasts with the highest technical difficulty level and in which artistic elements like the ones Liukin amazed the world with like gracefulness, elegance, delicacy, effortless and light as feather execution inside a choreography of which beauty actually expesses emotions were no longer taken into account for scoring. Nastia Liukin same as Nadia Comaneci's massive legacy vanished along the years because some individual or individuals who had no right to change the rules of artistic gymnastics changed them for an unknown reason. No other gymnast since then can even be compared to gymnasts like Nastia because art was taken away from artistic gymnastics leaving nothing left but a mecanic awarded sport which no one follows nowadays.
