I just love ALL these ! Shells and cords, heirloom baby blanket, Sedona, it's hard to pick 3 out but Those are the ones I want to get patterns for. I have not crochet in years but I remember making my daughter her beloved baby blanket in 1976, I am 74 and am able to make for the little ones now. I have M S and something that I can do at a good pace! Your inspirations are awesome! I just love you and your videos. Thank you for sharing all this beauty!

As a crocheter I totally get the memory thing. I remember every baby blanket I’ve ever made. I even wrote them all down along with who I gave them to. A friend of mine had a baby girl two years ago and I made one for her. Seeing pictures of her with it always make me smile. Two years later and it’s still her go to blanket.

I am the same. I buy yarn first then I look for a project. Because of my illness, I can not go to the stores. My husband always reminds me to buy enough to finish the project. Thank you so much for this video. Soon I will be making a X-mass gift blanket for my grandkids. I think I will use #1. This video is perfect. I also love those borders you used. I think I will be using some of those stitches for shawls. Thank you so much.

Hi Tiffany! I made “The Shells & Cords” Blanket! I made it in the size for someone that was in a Nursing Home or was in a Wheelchair! Then I thought maybe I might give it to a friend that was trying to have a baby, and I thought I would make it and just have it on hand and ready! I made it in pink! I loved making that blanket!! It looked hard when you showed it, but while working on it, it just came naturally!! It really relaxed me and I love that blanket!! We’ll, the couple had twin girls! So I decided to keep that blanket for myself and I made the twins each a blanket. One was in a soft yellow and it was the
‘V-Stitch’ and the other one was a soft pink and it was the
    ‘Puff Stitch!’

So I’m new to your channel and I thought it might be valuable to you for me to mention why I subscribed. First, your enthusiasm for crochet is unmatched. And believe me, I’ve made my rounds watching hours upon hours of different creators lol your passion finds its way through my screen and that can’t be taught. Second, I love how much you value texture in blankets. It really is the first thing to draw me in. Thirdly I enjoy how versed your content is, without being haphazard. (I’ve found it can be overwhelming with some creators. No shade to them of course.) Your style is consistent and that matters when finding someone to follow bc I already know I’m going to be a fan of whatever piece you put out next. Oooookay and I have made this uncomfortably long lol sorry! Btw I’m currently working on your fall vibes blanket with the Hue + Me yarn. It’s coming together beautifully! (That video is how I found you!) 🧶🍂

I cannot thank you enough for your post Miss Powers. On my end I just try to be as helpful as possible while showing people how to do something I love AND try to be a little entertaining while doing it. There are a lot of other RUclips content creators in this category and I am so happy that you were able to find me. You’re words mean a lot and I am so grateful for your feedback. I hope to continue to create projects that you might be interested in. Please let me know if you ever have any questions along the way. 😊❤️🧶

I've only started watching this video but I wanted to give a comment about when people would pass by patterns because of the color thinking it wasn't for a boy or a girl I can relate to that because my mother sewed all of my clothes growing up we would go and we would look at patterns and I would pass up a lot of patterns because I didn't like the fabric on the picture😊 My mom would explain to me we can pick any fabric you want we just need to know the design I still couldn't wrap my head around that and to this day if I sees something but the color doesn't work for me I tend to pass it by and I haves to stop and remind myself change the color 😂❤❤❤ I love watching you videos and finding new stitches to create Thank you

The shell and cords baby blanket is a bit different from your pattern
It's I dc skip 2, make a shell of 5 dc ,sk 2 1dc ,sk 2 ,the shell and continue across .Next row dc in the dc ,then 5 dc in the shell in the 3rd dc of the shell below across.Thats the whole blanker. Its been my go to for over 30 years with a lace border if I'm making it for a girl out of thread.
I also have the little gown with a drawstring bottom at the feet.Same pattern .It makes up gargeous. Love your blankets Tiffany .

I like all 8 Baby Blanket patterns. My mother taught me crochet and she mostly made afghans so I have kept up the tradition which also make memories. I’ve been wanting to try the Shells and Cords blanket but haven’t yet had time. I’m in to quilting which is very time consuming but this year with the crazy trends of the economy I’m having to make the gifts if my family is going to have anything to open under our tree this rapidly approaching Christmas 2022.
I have searched for just the right simple woman’s crocheted vests for colder weather but didn’t find much except summer ones. If you have one that’s for cooler weather I haven’t found it. I’m afraid what I’m attempting is not turning out well. Tried making a top pattern into vests. 😢. Any help appreciated. Love your teaching method.

A crocheted vest is actually on my list right now. I'm hoping to get to it soon but I can never promise anything as something usually comes up and I have to shift gears. But a vest is definitely a goal of mine! I hope you all the best with your crochet projects Kay! Keep checking in with my channel to see what projects I release. 😊🧶🧡
