It's heavily implied that Rell was autistic and that's what made him "different" from many of the other kids on the Zariman.
Damn, DE really needs to go back and fix the main quests because they seem more buggy than when they came out. I've watched a bunch of new players recently and they all had noticeable visual bugs that I've never seen before, like the melee weapon being "stuck" to the frame's hand during TWW cutscenes or the operator's clothes floating in the air when they're invisible before Umbra grabs them in the orbiter. Both of these seem to only happen with newer weapons/clothes that were made after the quests and likely weren't properly tested with old content.
I replay them they are FINE, You have 2 GPU option D11 and D12 and depending on Drivers, FullScreen, Window etc You have to pick right option. For me AMD PC the best performance I get are on D11 and FlipMode ON !.

Man an I know I was there for every last one them up to 1999 of course playing a few games during expansion downtime to prevent burnout but Warframe has always delivered one way or another
Also, if Aztecross doesn't know about it yet, the fragments he's been scanning are lore fragments in the codex with fully voice acted stories. There are video playlists out there of people who found all the fragments.
Chat should really tell him about toggle sprint. Options > Accessibility tab > 'Hold to Sprint' You just Shift briefly at mission start and no more walking. Now you only have to worry about tapping Shift to roll - much easier and faster.
Cross, you can complete The Duviri Paradox quest at any time you want. The only thing is - if you complete it early, you will drown in speculations made by yourself. Most of the things that happens in it will be explained later in main quests. Also, devs know better when to give you access to quests. About lore videos - I strongly suggest to look for them after you complete all main quests. P.S.: I'm happy that you've liked this game.

Hi, Thanks for all these streams. A small *warning:* You're coming up to a place where DE made the intended order very confusing and flopped the reactions for many new players. When you're about to start the 'Chimera-Prologue'-'Prelude to War' sequence, You *_really shouldn't play Maker until you've played the Ropaloyst._* Basically, each of the 3 sections came out months apart, while now you'd assume you just go part to part, there's a whole mini-quest, new faction(story, tileset, scannable, enemies, weapons, frame), that's meant to be experienced between them. The figurative _"Chimeras"_ are the new faction. There was also a limited time event and the story impetus to build your railjack, because multiple teams, both in space and on Earth would co-ordinate to fight new bosses. The 1st 2 parts of the prelude are question posing set up, elaborated in the new Ropaloyst boss fight and audio scannables, but the 3rd immediately collapses that with a confirmation. Edit: NVM, you did it ahead of your plan.

@@malaki7335 It not mandatory 100%, but there's really no way for the fake-out to hit, if you go straight from Erra talking around it, to Ballas showing it was a lie. Plus, going back to that story arc afterwards, even if DE decided not to develop it further, ends up being a bit strange. We have a whole tileset, the secret lab mechanics and the disruption game-mode, all tied to the Amalgam Chimera arc, but now he probably won't see any of that until after the New War. It's like Duviri: it doesn't technically break any story, but starting with it is far from the ideal way to experience the story as a whole, beyond just the drip desync and the hand from the sky.
For the clan, i think this is just a temporary problem. While building the dojo you need a smaller clan to make things more affordable. Once the dojo is built up, the clan size can be increased and there won't be as much pressure to donate and stay active.

That moment you feel older than dirt due to a fellow vet not knowing what being a founder got you back in the day, the bar is constantly changing of what is well known knowledge and what isnt. glad he has someone now that is giving him more solid advice, him getting trolled at times by his chat was annoying. Do wish the guy giving advice/knowledge would explain things alittle bit better, the way he described riven mods wasnt the clearest. Nice seeing ppl giving warframe more of a chance these days, but his chat/community needs to calm down i know they are excited for him to get into it, but you have to let him carve his own path and fall in love the game like the rest of us did, and that includes making mistakes. the vast majority of us didnt have someone holding our hand every step of the way and we came out loving the game! Answering simple questions is one thing but telling him to not do something hurts him in the long run, he has to learn to play. XD
One of my favourite things to do is to take new players corrupted mod farming. It's teaching a skill that will come in handy for them to finish up their min-max builds, and I also get the mods too and they're always an easy 20 plat if I need the pocket change. It'd be cool to see a vet guide him through some of the fundamentals for tryhard builds. I get people want to see him react to all the story, but that can come at the cost of burning a person out once the story stops. Especially as rushing through the story means ignoring all of the factions, all of the equipment they unlock, and being faced with the time gated farms for all of those at once can't be fun.

Blind Rage, Transient Fortitude, Overextended, Narrow Minded, Critical Delay, and whatever the secondary Crit chance mod is. Also very annoying to farm for by yourself. Speaking of which he needs to get some augur mods for duration and range. Good mods for little space. The way he’s been playing it seems like he genuinely enjoys the game and the farm so he will get there. I used to play like him and only use plat to rush builds but since trying to go for mastery rank I’ve began buying things outright. I made the mistake of not getting mastery as I went and even deleted stuff I didn’t have mastered yet lol
I don't know if you picked up on it or if one of the chats told you, but Rell is autistic, and it's implied the Orokin either didn't know what autism was or saw this as a flaw (Considering who the Orokin were... I wouldn't be shocked if they believed... That line of thinking). That's why he was kicked out. Also, now that you've done Chains of Harrow, the "Void Demon" (There's a billion names for this dude) will forever be on your ship. He can show up on log in or after a mission, give his trademark "Hey Kiddo", then promptly screw off when you turn around. He can appear on either table behind you, in either corridor leading to the back 3 rooms, or in the center of the hallway connecting the back 3 rooms. So, have fun Cross.

Cross I had no problem with how you were doing things, just pursue whatever you are enjoying (story, collecting things, powering up) rather than playing how anyone else wants you to. Where you can ask for proper advice is ‘how can I mod this to be stronger’ or ‘are there any clear gaps in my mods I could look to fill’ - this is more complex than chat can handle and you are already aware of this. EXACTLY, i posted the same thing, DsIEGE's newer videos are more spoilery, but StallordD is still amazing, with lots of very indepth videos. in all honesty, when i heard Byf made warframe videos i was happy to check them out, because i heard he was amazing. but in all honesty, i NEVER saw someone talk lore so badly, his warframe videos were atrocious. they were so halfassed and mediocre. and to make things worse, he spent most of the time he actually talked, repeating what the cinematics/npcs already said, without really adding anything worth.

@ ya that’s not what that is. When he asks what is the best frame in most games that has an objective answer. But in Warframe it is about play style and skill. Best is not really a thing here.
Yeah, Brozime's solid at not weaving in his own misconceptions. There are content creators I love that will constantly drop certain pieces of 'information' that have come from community misconception that rippled out of control. Like "Primes are the originals". DE dropped that years ago and made it clear Primes were like the 'special editions' the Orokin or others commissioned to flex on their friends. Sometimes, yes, the original version got made into a Prime, but it's not a hard and fast rule that they all did.

@Mandingy24 no brozime is usually right because his good and the community's good are different, brozime's good is what can do content efficiently, the community's good is it can kill stuff well, for example frost a while ago was being called good by the community because he could do level cap, doing level cap doesn't make a frame good it's never something you need to do to farm something or complete content, at the same time frost was still the worst defence frame in the game the one job frost is supposed to do well, so brozime was still calling him trash while the community was saying nah he's good, this is usually where the difference in opinion between brozime and the community comes from, also a significant number of the community have 0 idea what they are talking about or are just terrible at the game
@@Mandingy24 yep. he is one of those "its trash dont use" kind of players. while they have a reason to dislike something, outside of the stugg, there's no real trash in warframe. every weapon and frame can still be highly effective for 99% of the content. and az is still very far away from that 1%. maybe an argument could be made about a few other weapons like the kraken, the seer or the hand cannons/throwable explosives(due to their absurdly small ammo capacity), but still, you can still build them well enough to make that a non issue. but to brozime, its either "use the best, or dont bother playing" mentality. which makes him very hit or miss, specially as im someone who enjoy taking crap weapons and making them fun to use.
Honestly I don't even remember if I had a MOTE amp when I played when the Sacrifice was released, I just didn't understand and no one in my clan (which was like 1 other guy) could tell me to prep first. Even the 111 AMP is better than the MOTE amp during that entire story quest. I had a bitch of a time fighting everything up until I started getting into hunting in POE but god I hated life during that quest and Harrow also.

I don’t think it’s the void that let all the tennos share the pain with the Warframes. While the void powers allow them to share memories, it is inherently humanity that takes away the pain. Having humanity is to understand each other, which Ballas fails to understand.

Tenno are the ppl of the zariman ten-zero Cruise ship (a country size ship) Tenno were born and died on the ship. The Tenno were basically slaves of the Orokin... more like laboratory rats, their purpose was to go to the Void. In an attempt to travel into the void, there was an accident. If you want to know more details just continue the arcs!
A couple quality of life things to note: change your mods sorting from polarity to drain. Also he should get used to loadouts (entire frames and weapom kits) and the A-B-C for mods. Helps a lot with build crafting. Also, let the man use what he wants to use lol. He should have a loadout with his strongest/best stuffs, and use unranked stuff to level up his MR. For solo grinding, the survival mission on Cetus is the best
If you wanna add me in-game, I'd be happy to be an advisor. MR 28, been playing for 6+ years on and off, and have basically everything. Even the newest content. Also, as a clan leader, {Solemn Whisper} is open for alliances. Oh, and first tip. If you use "{}" to type a clan name in in-game chat, it will link your clan page. "[ ]" works for items, whether they are materials, weapons, warframes, etc... and also works for mods if you want to see what they do. Oh, and you should join a syndicate. It's a panel to the left of navigation, that will show you 6 syndicate leaders when you open it. They offer augment mods, which alter the function of abilities for specific warframes. And they also offer some decent weapons, as well as a way to get easy relics and fosfor.

Every (fair) clan I've ever been apart of (in any game) requires contribution and/or clan activity when online (not the whole time, but at least some). The general rule is that if you're inactive for more than 3 days you get the boot after that. UNLESS you have notified the leader/mods of you being gone longer than that. Don't feel hard pressed for kicking non-contirbuters, and inactives. That's just how it goes.
have you played warframe though? in my experience it's very rare for contribution to be required in a warframe clan, and a 3 day offline time is also very short compared to your average Warframe clan. of course he can run his clan however he wants and I'm not saying he's doing it wrong, but it is definitely a lot stricter than anything I usually see

On the launcher window before pressing PLAY , Top R Corner > Gear and change GPU options to D12 or if You are using D12 change it back to D11 and set Flip-Mode in Game settings, Your game-play HURT this game visuals You have so manny bugs. To sum it up Rell went insane holding off the void entity from rest of universe. Now rell has perished and no longer kept alive inside of harrow, we the tenno all share the burden of holding off the void. The person that says "hey kiddo" is the void in face of our operator. Umbra is not a "line" of frames like primes, it was a unique situation of Ballas torturing one dude because he was spying on him There isnt and will never be "Umbra" frames
As cool as it would be, I think the existence of other Umbras would greatly diminish what makes Excalibur Umbra really special. Umbra was a Warframe that was tortured with a single burning memory, specifically for intercepting Ballas and his betrayal. He is a reminder to us of Ballas's cruelty. If there were a line of Umbras, it'd have to become another version of purchasable prime to sell us in order to really justify it nowadays (just look at how much things are behind platinum in 1999 compared to the syndicate vendors). Excalibur Umbra's quest when released was like a thank you letter to the community. It didn't give us any new expansions or expand our universe like the Second Dream did... It was just a beautiful story that brought meaning to our connections with the Warframes themselves and the game.

For the clan, i think this is just a temporary problem. While building the dojo you need a smaller clan to make things more affordable. Once the dojo is built up, the clan size can be increased and there won't be as much pressure to donate and stay active.

That moment you feel older than dirt due to a fellow vet not knowing what being a founder got you back in the day, the bar is constantly changing of what is well known knowledge and what isnt. glad he has someone now that is giving him more solid advice, him getting trolled at times by his chat was annoying. Do wish the guy giving advice/knowledge would explain things alittle bit better, the way he described riven mods wasnt the clearest. Nice seeing ppl giving warframe more of a chance these days, but his chat/community needs to calm down i know they are excited for him to get into it, but you have to let him carve his own path and fall in love the game like the rest of us did, and that includes making mistakes. the vast majority of us didnt have someone holding our hand every step of the way and we came out loving the game! Answering simple questions is one thing but telling him to not do something hurts him in the long run, he has to learn to play. XD
One of my favourite things to do is to take new players corrupted mod farming. It's teaching a skill that will come in handy for them to finish up their min-max builds, and I also get the mods too and they're always an easy 20 plat if I need the pocket change. It'd be cool to see a vet guide him through some of the fundamentals for tryhard builds.
I get people want to see him react to all the story, but that can come at the cost of burning a person out once the story stops. Especially as rushing through the story means ignoring all of the factions, all of the equipment they unlock, and being faced with the time gated farms for all of those at once can't be fun.

Blind Rage, Transient Fortitude, Overextended, Narrow Minded, Critical Delay, and whatever the secondary Crit chance mod is. Also very annoying to farm for by yourself. Speaking of which he needs to get some augur mods for duration and range. Good mods for little space. The way he’s been playing it seems like he genuinely enjoys the game and the farm so he will get there. I used to play like him and only use plat to rush builds but since trying to go for mastery rank I’ve began buying things outright. I made the mistake of not getting mastery as I went and even deleted stuff I didn’t have mastered yet lol

Also, now that you've done Chains of Harrow, the "Void Demon" (There's a billion names for this dude) will forever be on your ship. He can show up on log in or after a mission, give his trademark "Hey Kiddo", then promptly screw off when you turn around. He can appear on either table behind you, in either corridor leading to the back 3 rooms, or in the center of the hallway connecting the back 3 rooms. So, have fun Cross.

Cross I had no problem with how you were doing things, just pursue whatever you are enjoying (story, collecting things, powering up) rather than playing how anyone else wants you to. Where you can ask for proper advice is ‘how can I mod this to be stronger’ or ‘are there any clear gaps in my mods I could look to fill’ - this is more complex than chat can handle and you are already aware of this.
Beyond that just keep winging it for as long as you enjoy - I’m here to watch you play not chat and not an MR30 with a new player account!

EXACTLY, i posted the same thing, DsIEGE's newer videos are more spoilery, but StallordD is still amazing, with lots of very indepth videos. in all honesty, when i heard Byf made warframe videos i was happy to check them out, because i heard he was amazing.
but in all honesty, i NEVER saw someone talk lore so badly, his warframe videos were atrocious. they were so halfassed and mediocre. and to make things worse, he spent most of the time he actually talked, repeating what the cinematics/npcs already said, without really adding anything worth.

Yeah, Brozime's solid at not weaving in his own misconceptions. There are content creators I love that will constantly drop certain pieces of 'information' that have come from community misconception that rippled out of control.
Like "Primes are the originals". DE dropped that years ago and made it clear Primes were like the 'special editions' the Orokin or others commissioned to flex on their friends. Sometimes, yes, the original version got made into a Prime, but it's not a hard and fast rule that they all did.

@Mandingy24 no brozime is usually right because his good and the community's good are different, brozime's good is what can do content efficiently, the community's good is it can kill stuff well, for example frost a while ago was being called good by the community because he could do level cap, doing level cap doesn't make a frame good it's never something you need to do to farm something or complete content, at the same time frost was still the worst defence frame in the game the one job frost is supposed to do well, so brozime was still calling him trash while the community was saying nah he's good, this is usually where the difference in opinion between brozime and the community comes from, also a significant number of the community have 0 idea what they are talking about or are just terrible at the game
@@Mandingy24 yep. he is one of those "its trash dont use" kind of players. while they have a reason to dislike something, outside of the stugg, there's no real trash in warframe. every weapon and frame can still be highly effective for 99% of the content. and az is still very far away from that 1%.
maybe an argument could be made about a few other weapons like the kraken, the seer or the hand cannons/throwable explosives(due to their absurdly small ammo capacity), but still, you can still build them well enough to make that a non issue.
but to brozime, its either "use the best, or dont bother playing" mentality. which makes him very hit or miss, specially as im someone who enjoy taking crap weapons and making them fun to use.

Honestly I don't even remember if I had a MOTE amp when I played when the Sacrifice was released, I just didn't understand and no one in my clan (which was like 1 other guy) could tell me to prep first. Even the 111 AMP is better than the MOTE amp during that entire story quest. I had a bitch of a time fighting everything up until I started getting into hunting in POE but god I hated life during that quest and Harrow also.

I don’t think it’s the void that let all the tennos share the pain with the Warframes. While the void powers allow them to share memories, it is inherently humanity that takes away the pain. Having humanity is to understand each other, which Ballas fails to understand.
I'm a clan of one, and I've done ALL of the farming by myself. I have most everything unlocked, too.
Bro is blind, and I'm not talking about Harrow quest, I'm talking about his all Warframe streams lol. The issue is he just runs around too fast, you don't want to do that during quests.

A couple quality of life things to note: change your mods sorting from polarity to drain. Also he should get used to loadouts (entire frames and weapom kits) and the A-B-C for mods. Helps a lot with build crafting.
Also, let the man use what he wants to use lol. He should have a loadout with his strongest/best stuffs, and use unranked stuff to level up his MR. For solo grinding, the survival mission on Cetus is the best

Oh, and first tip. If you use "{}" to type a clan name in in-game chat, it will link your clan page. "[ ]" works for items, whether they are materials, weapons, warframes, etc... and also works for mods if you want to see what they do.
Oh, and you should join a syndicate. It's a panel to the left of navigation, that will show you 6 syndicate leaders when you open it. They offer augment mods, which alter the function of abilities for specific warframes. And they also offer some decent weapons, as well as a way to get easy relics and fosfor.

Every (fair) clan I've ever been apart of (in any game) requires contribution and/or clan activity when online (not the whole time, but at least some). The general rule is that if you're inactive for more than 3 days you get the boot after that. UNLESS you have notified the leader/mods of you being gone longer than that.
Don't feel hard pressed for kicking non-contirbuters, and inactives. That's just how it goes.
have you played warframe though? in my experience it's very rare for contribution to be required in a warframe clan, and a 3 day offline time is also very short compared to your average Warframe clan. of course he can run his clan however he wants and I'm not saying he's doing it wrong, but it is definitely a lot stricter than anything I usually see

To sum it up Rell went insane holding off the void entity from rest of universe. Now rell has perished and no longer kept alive inside of harrow, we the tenno all share the burden of holding off the void. The person that says "hey kiddo" is the void in face of our operator.

Umbra is not a "line" of frames like primes, it was a unique situation of Ballas torturing one dude because he was spying on him

As cool as it would be, I think the existence of other Umbras would greatly diminish what makes Excalibur Umbra really special. Umbra was a Warframe that was tortured with a single burning memory, specifically for intercepting Ballas and his betrayal. He is a reminder to us of Ballas's cruelty. If there were a line of Umbras, it'd have to become another version of purchasable prime to sell us in order to really justify it nowadays (just look at how much things are behind platinum in 1999 compared to the syndicate vendors).
Excalibur Umbra's quest when released was like a thank you letter to the community. It didn't give us any new expansions or expand our universe like the Second Dream did... It was just a beautiful story that brought meaning to our connections with the Warframes themselves and the game.
Also, I remember DE trying and then backpedaling on giving umbra like sentience to other Warframes because it would give even more room for afk strats
