Do you use the AF for BIF Mark with the A1? I find that it is less effective for BIF. I get better results shooting with direct AF using your AF settings for the A7RIV are better than bird eye AF on the A1.
Explore, Restore. Love it! Looks a lot like Three Forks Marsh that I go to on a regular bases to do just that! So peaceful out there.
Mark your artistry and passion is inspiring. Gorgeous photos and video as always. Thank you.
Thanks
Love the way you present Wildlife, specially with the outstanding footage.
C'est la première fois que je vois ce belle oiseau avec un longue bec et un cou rouge. C'est génial. Toutes mes Félicitations
I love your videos, and the images you get are amazing. well done!
Thanks
Amazing footsge
Love your passion and the way you tell your stories and your pictures of course. And 4k! Yeah!
Thanks
Hey Mark, bikes and wildlife photography were made for each other. We have been biking into locations to shoot for over 10 years. If you have a chance go over you bags, cases, etc. when traveling on airplanes with your big glass. Thanks, Ron
Beautiful video. I use a 6,000w seated electric scooter with 11in off road tires. Love that I can get down deer trails. If I come to fallen tree just pick the scooter up and continue on the other side.
Dude your story telling is top notch! Great video on the "Florida common" White Ibis. I think that is the same area I noticed today when I was down that way. Awesome stuff!
Thanks
Great video, thanks!
I live in South Dakota and get to Sanibel every few Februaries. The Ibis are abundant so much that I usually pay them little attention. I never knew they could be so magnificent! Thanks
Same! In breeding plumage they are amazing
Wow after this, your video making me considering a bike cycle too. As always, enjoy your video and your description.
Thank you!
I never knew that White Ibis is so beautiful with the mating plumage
That gator at the starts definitely Chugs!!
Lol
In a fantastic, wild, and free world of your own: fantastic video Mark!
Thanks
Great informative video and as always I enjoy your casual style. As a Florida native , I realize the magic of the PubSub . IYKYK
Thanks! There is a reason the sub line is so long at Publix.
Great video. Magnificent Osprey. Impressive Ibis. Love the bicycle concept. I've had one for a while and should use it more.
Thank you! It was a blast getting back there and I hope to return in a few days to see how it has all progressed!
Picnic in alligator and snake country.? You two are brave. Great video as always
I love my electric bike a great way to travel for wildlife photography ! Just don't run out of power ! Love the Ibis awesome ! 👍😍
They are so much fun!!
I have an off road electric bike and have used it several times while birding. It’s great to cover large distances, but it is very heavy, despite it being compact, and I have a lot of trouble getting it into the back of my trunk, just like you! My next vehicle purchase will be a truck or a an SUV with a larger cargo / trunk area to fit it. Using an e-bike is the way to go for extensive shoreline locations. Great video as usual, Mark! I really enjoyed it. 👍
Thanks!! Ebikes are a blast!
Look at a bike rack that will fit into a receiver for towing. There are some racks that you can use a ramp to load.
@@SteveMillerhuntingforfood My thoughts exactly. These bikes have exploded on the seen here in the NE US.
Hey Mark what a beautiful video. You really tick all of the boxes: photography and wildlife sure, but a great narrative and brilliant personality. Love you work 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽♥️
Thanks!
Nice video! I will see you on Tuesday for the Osprey workshop.
Amazing Mark!
What a beautiful bird. It's now on my wish list to see. Great pics!
Man those gators lol. Took the wife and kids down to the keys a few years ago and the drive through the everglades was pretty rad. So much wildlife down there for sure. Glad our shore along the great lakes dont have gators or sharks but man they are awesome to see. Great job Mark. Beautiful video and ill have to convince the wife for an electric bike lol. they look like fun.
Thanks and they are loads of fun!
Congratulations on becoming engaged!! I hope to see you again here in Washington in a month or so.
Thanks! I’ll be there!
Mark, you look really happy with your fiancé. Happy for you, man.
I am and thank you!
It April I’m Minnesota and it’s 29 degrees and miserable. Your footage, story telling and the warm wind blowing while going down the road looked pretty amazing! Cool video
Thanks
Love it Mark! Always enjoy the content!!
Thanks
Mark, I've had ebikes for years. You'll need a special bike rack specific to an ebike. That way, you can take your bike anywhere with you. I've ridden everywhere in Texas it is the bike rack makes it practical. Make sure it's designed for bikes, otherwise it can't hold the weight of the bike. Good luck, ebikes are fantastic!
Thanks for the information and yes they are!
I’m glad you brought this up. I love ebikes too but can’t find the right rack. What rack do you use?
Very creative Mark. Always setting a new benchmark.
Thanks
This video was a bit not what you usually do but it was equally as amazing! thank you for sharing this! I loved it!
Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.
Incredible! Some beautiful video there.
Awesome shots, front on ones are just amazing
Wow what an amazing trip Mark, an e bike is a great way to explore. Nice to meet your fiancé too, enjoy your lunch, it looks yummy!
Thanks!!!
Another great video Mark! That trip looked like a lot of fun, the pictures of the White Ibis where amazing. Here in Panama we also get the Green, Glossy and White-faced Ibis, they are all really gorgeous. That picnic looked great by the way.
Thanks. It was a ton of fun!
@@MarkSmithphotography Looks like you always have a ton of fun, great channel Mark.
Excellent Video Mark. Thank You.
Another awesome video Mark.
Thanks
Entertaining!
so cool! Awesome video! good idea for a quiet green transportation
Thanks and yes!
Mark I have a fat tire e bike and you should see my set up, I bought a knock off pelican case and mounted it to the rear rack. I secure the A9 and 200-600 when I go exploring in the mountains. On top of the pelican case I store a cooler and 2nd battery to increase range to about 60 miles
That sounds awesome!!!
Awesome shots, front on ones are amazing
You guys make a great couple. Fun video Mark. I’m in for an electric when I eventually get my van. See you soon.
Thanks Mike! Electric bikes are a blast.
Looks like an electric bike is on my list to get. Thanks for sharing.
They are amazing!
Fantastic content! Bring me more !!
Thanks
Amazing g BG colors on the ibis IMages 😍👍🏼
Ahhh....you saved the best for last. A Publix sub on 7 grain bread. enjoy!
You know it!!
Awesome video!! Will see you at the end of May!
I hope you have your z9!
Careful Mark!! And thank you.
Very enjoyable, as I've only once been to Florida for bird watching, in Feb. '20. Corbett wildlife preserve, barely saw more than anhinga here & there and 1 wild pig. Can you mention which part of Florida this footage was/ the ibis rookery, and what time of year? I didn't hear mention of date/ location in the narrative nor see it in the comments. THanks~
Beautiful bird!😍🤩👍
Beautiful!
Beautiful video Mark!
Thanks
Nice video. Love the educational content on the critters. Love the ebike concept as well. How does the wildlife react to the bike. Example, moving car OK, stopped car MAYBE, get out of the car THEY'RE GONE. Congrats on your new relationship. I am blessed as well and it makes a world of difference.
Thanks for the kind words. Each animal seems to behave differently towards the bike so it is hard to say. Some high tailed it others just looked.
Great video. Thanks for sharing this adventure.👍👍
Thanks
The white ibis. It is an amazing bird. Here in Australia we actually call them Bin Chickens due to them hanging out at a lot of Refuse Stations.
I’ve heard the song! Ibis, the bin juice drinking gronk! If you haven’t heard it look it up. Foul language though so beware.
Our Australian ones aren't as photogenic unfortunately. "Tip turkeys".!!!
Hey mark please call out where you were at. I live in Oklahoma and thinking of traveling down there to do some photography. Peace and prayers .
Hi Mark, I use an electric bike in Australia for birding which is awesome. I also have a bike rack which fits on the tow ball which saves a lot of time and effort.
That’s awesome. I have a rack too but my car doesn’t have a hitch. My other car does but my son is borrowing it.
@@MarkSmithphotography the things we do for our kids :)
Great video as always. Where is the location you went in the vidoe?
Tm Goodwin wma
Great video Mark. I far can you go on a single charge with your e-bike? I live in south west Palm beach county and I get lots of Ibis feeding in my yard, but never saw one with deep red pouch. I need to look closely at them the next time there here.
Thanks. You get 20-30 miles per charge.
Awesome video, Mark. Congrats on the bike. I have a Trek. They are sure fun! And thanks for the intro to Traci (sp?). Congrats to you both!! Those gators look really big. I think that might deter me from riding a bike there...not much protection from them. Thx for sharing all that you do!!
Thanks for the compliments. Tracey will be making more appearances!
Like that new shirt design, just ordered the green!
Thank you!
As a Tennessee resident, I love white Ibis when I go to Florida. The locals are bored with them but I'm fascinated. Thanks, Mark!
They are amazing right now!
Then there is the other place on east coast North of your Ospreys. it has an Island with huge rookery ,Spoonbills too
Hey Mark. That A1 makes me nauseous it’s so good. Anyway when I was living in Ft. Myers in the distant past, I lived in a nice subdivision that had canals running thru it. Anyway they killed one big Gator that was making itself a pest and found several small pet collars in his stomach ! Poor Phoo Poo ! Several Ladies in the community were placed on Sedatives after this incident when the collars were identified ! 🤣 Well that’s Florida Living ! Thanks and Be Careful ! 😅 Now that’s living with your Lady Friend ! 👏🏻 Bye !
Ouch on the gator!!!!
Another fantastic video Mark!! I'm sure it's NOT, but... But is this by any chance Lake Popopka???
Thanks and no
loved the video, especially the subs and traci. i shoot an A1 and ride an aventon aventure. needed one with fat tires that could handle a little snow. a little heavy, but well worth lugging it.
Thanks!! The fat tires on this bike are amazing. I can go all over the place.
Love your vlogs. Always enjoyable to watch when you're out and about, seeing all the amazing wildlife. Was that the 100-400 lens you used for these videos and photos? It looks like that was what you were holding when crouched by your bike.
Thanks and no that was the 200-600.
Awesomne man.. Which lens today 200/600?
600f4
Got a cheepo from Walmart for that exact purpose. looking forward to se your vid.
Mine wasn't cheap! lol but I absolutely love it!
@@MarkSmithphotography my biggest hang up is I have a regular “John” powered mtb that I like so I was looking for a suitable conversion kit. There are some nice ones out there. I guess we’ll see what brand yours is. 😀
@@slodays1158 I don’t actually say the brand in the video but it is a rad rover 6 plus… I think
What a timing, i Just got an elektric bike aswell this month
What kind?
@@MarkSmithphotography a Pegasus Ravenna Evo 8f mostly so i can bike to work and get around more like to 50km to a zoo where my animatie friends are.
Just got one for my wife and me in late February! Very interested in your info!
Hurray for beautiful birds and Publix subs!
Lol yes!
The Helmet!!! 😅🤩
Love it!
Amazing video and story telling. Beside the f-stop, ISO and shutter speed, what are you settings for the shots. Ex: focus mode, focus are, metering mode, etc... Thanks again
Nice video! What were you using to video yourself? It is very clear and stable.
Sony a7s3!
Hi Mark, where is this here in Florida?
It looks like a leg is sticking out the back of the pig! Or is it just the odd shaped tail? So about to pop might be an understatement....
Jep, definitely a leg sticking out.... What do you think Mark?
I’ll have to go back and look! I didn’t notice that.
I’m going to Sebastian inlet late April, do u think there will be ospreys, are they there year round or only during fish migrations?
Year round
Hi Mark,
May I ask what kind of bag you used here?
Thanks
Ruggard
🙏 🇮🇳 thanks👍👍
Note car wash for the SUV, btw the gators look hungry!!!
Here I am, still using a pedal bike at the age of 64. On the home front, I am being driven bonkers by a dove family. Suffice it to say that the kids aren't into photography.
Thanks....
what are you doing with your daughters helmet !!
It’s mine!
Is this north FL?
Where is this? Florida?
You didn’t say where this is. Where is this?
I used electric scooter for my BIF.
Riding a bike with a gimbal and camera = skill :D Ha
that Tesla needs a bath
Living on a dirt road and keeping it in the garage to charge makes it very challenging to wash!
your Fiance?
Yes!
@@MarkSmithphotography Congrats!!
