I love the comment you made that people can disagree with each other and still respect the other person. What a gem of a channel. Your voice is really relaxing and comforting.
"We can disagree and still respect each other." Love this! I've really enjoyed channels like yours being willing to examine both sides of an issue without vitriol and hate. The only way we will all find common ground is through love and giving each other a little grace, which I think you exemplify in your videos. Keep it up!
I found you and I hope this encourages you your voice inflection randomly gives me asmr tingles lol I thought you might appreciate knowing this since you are working on your voice training SIS!!!
Hi, Lanae! Yes, I did find your channel through Thai, and I left a note there about how your voice is refreshing and important. I'm older than you, closer to Thai Rivera's age, but I see in you a maturity beyond your years. If there is one thing I want to see in the trans community is content about how we fit into the regular society, post-transition. The statistics say that transition actually doesn't reduce the number of trans self-endings. I think for so many of us, it's because we feel like transition will solve all our problems, like alienation, depression, trauma, living in fear, and it will give us the relationships we want. That's just not true. Transition is the start, not the end, and I wish wise women like you would speak to the younglings about how to approach transition as a stepping stone to happiness, not the endgame, and encourage young trans woman to strive for a productive life of contribution and love.
I found your channel as a result of Thai's reaction to your video. I like the way you speak - slowly and thoughtfully. I have subscribed and I look forward to seeing more of your videos. :) Also, I had no idea that you are trans.
It's so nice to hear more sane trans people, especially someone as sweet as you 💞 I'm glad that Thai gave you a shout out, because you definitely deserve it. I would love to hear your thoughts about trans women going into women's sports, and also women's spaces. I'm also interested to hear about your transition. Talking about current events will most definitely help your channel gain viewers. Looking forward to future videos 🥰🥰
@@DuncanDonDuken Welcome to the channel. I most certainly do have an opinion about 🏳️⚧️ trans women competing against biological women. Thank you for watching.
Thank you for another sweet and wholesome video Lanae, with future content ideas all I can recommend is keeping grounded with real content, if you make any discussions based around the LGBT community, have facts and "receipts" to back up your info, cod that's the only way we can shut down the crazies/misguided, by just being honest about the truth. If you'd like inspiration I'd recommend Buck Angel? He's got great content and always such a kind personality. Much love to you and you close ones Lanae ❤
I’m a recent viewer via Thai and would love to hear your own opinion regarding kids and surgeries/blockers; your journey, and how you decided which path to choose, and how you feel now about your decision; and how your family, friends and community treated you pre and post change. If I’m stepping over the line, just lemme know. Now, as you know, you hafta be extra EXTRA careful what you say, how you say it, and who you say it to.
@@rhondag3655 Welcome to the channel. I do not mind sharing my journey. Even after 6 years, I am still trying to work on my transition. It’s more difficult when you lack the resources necessary for you to take the next step. It’s definitely a marathon. Thank you for watching.
I feel like most of us want to learn how to meet in the middle, or just respectfully agree to disagree about some things. I worry that the country is dividing more and more all the time, identity politics, politics in general… I recently went to a website trying to learn what all the different LGBTQ flags meant and it was so overwhelming. I wonder if all the groupthink and increasing tribalism is ever going to allow us to meet in the middle. I graduated high school in 1999. At that time (maybe it was my naive brain), I believed that we were overcoming all the barriers and becoming more united in vision for everyone. I hope we can all strive to build bridges where divides have formed. God bless.
@@Beserious795 I agree. I am also overwhelmed by all of the new flags and genders that they have come up with. I cannot take them seriously. I also graduated high school back in 1999. It was such a great year for me. Even though I was unpopular, I enjoyed that time of my life. Are you an ‘80 or ‘81 baby? I’m ‘81. God bless you also. ❤️
@@Lanae8199 I was very unpopular in middle school, bullied and miserable. In high school I gave up every single ounce of my morals and values to be considered one of the cool kids. Completely lost who I was beside this, for about 15 years. You’re lucky you stayed true to you. ❤️
@@Beserious795 I’m so sorry to hear that. I was bullied in middle school especially. I was forced to remain true to myself because they would not accept me. I’m glad that you were able to find your true self again. It sounds like you have a much better sense of self today.
I really enjoy your channel because you have talked about things in regards to the trans community. I noticed a lot of people who have similar views, as you tend to be silenced. Also, I feel like this is a safe space where we can agree to disagree. You seem very tolerable. There’s just way too much extremeness these days. I can’t wait to see more of your content.
I wish the rainbow on the flag still represented inclusivity. Sadly, we've gone back to division and segregation. Colours for every gender, colours for every "race", now a circle? The point of the rainbow was to include everyone, not to form a hierarchy. The children think they know so much they completely forget the history that brought us here. Anyway, nice video. Glad Thai pointed out your channel.
