Happy Anniversary 🎉😊. Umm, yes, you definitely need a cool down for the lasered spot, what the heck was she talking about lol. I hope it gets better too. Like every group (for lack of a better term), there are those who spoil it for the rest :(.

happy anniversary Lanae!! acceptance may go up and down etc, but the zoomed-out view is that things are generally up, right??.... there will always be a pool of people whose opinion changes with the wind... they're probably the ones contributing the most to the slump in acceptance. I'm sure we've all met people like that 😅. And we gotta remember it's not all just on LGBT etc people to keep it respectable either... it's on the people who claim to support us too. We don't gotta take it *all* on (speaking of taking on stress etc). 😀

    Happy anniversary!
Be well, don't mind the facial hair too much (we call it the "arch enemy" in our house and shaving is "fighting the arch enemy" ... I'm a woman in my late fifties). Even young women aren't always perfect, I've had female classmates who had a peach fuzz going on that made putting on foundation pretty much impossible. It's part of the experience of being a woman that you constantly have to tinker with what you've got.
Stress: As a trans woman, you should be able to ask for help when dealing with stress, just like women do. If you have good female friends, ask them how that works or observe how they do it (and note what is successful and what isn't ;) ). I apologize if you already know this, but since you were socialized as a man, I can imagine it's very hard to realize certain patterns of behavior in yourself.
Also, women tend to self-soothe a lot. There are great ways to do so, e.g. some kind of sports, your hobbies - I tend to play video games (kicking virtual buttocks), cook or clean while listening to music (and yes, it has to be both at the same time; recently got introduced to Paco de Lucia's work and am jamming out to that). Obviously, some methods tend to have long-term negative consequences, so not everything you see women do is something *you* want to pick up on.
Keep up the good work and thank you for pushing back against the crazy.

@@p.s.shnabel3409 I really appreciate the advice. Unfortunately, I do not have any friends really. Perhaps someday I will find at least one great one? Thank you for watching.

@@Lanae8199 I hope this answer will stay up ... RUclips tends to frown upon actual conversations *sigh*
Not sure whether it's a good idea to model any behavior after what I do, since I am a) not American born and b) a pretty odd duck no matter how you slice it.
Here goes anyways: When I am stressed and need extra consideration, I have learned to do so before I become super grumpy/emotional.
This means I have to be honest with myself and not have the whole "I can do it" mentality.
I approach it very directly. I tell those I love that I am not quite myself, that I might need space or a hug or both. Or a good vent.
Also, I also slow down (that's the self-care bit) and I'll just do the chores I already planned for the day but no extra.
That way I won't spiral into panic for not keeping up but I'll also not drive myself into the ground with work.
Typically, I'll be over whatever bugged me within a day or two. If whatever stresses me keeps eating away at me after that, I write up a decision tree (or even just do one in my head).
Most of the time it turns out that the hamster in a wheel that's running my brain is stuck in a loop and I need to let go. For that, I recommend meditation or something like it (prayer absolutely can work, too).
Friends are incredibly hard to find, just as hard (in my opinion) as a partner for life. Some get lucky and run into someone early on, some of us don't. Either way, it IS the journey that makes life worth living.
