- Roger adds some improvisation to the beginning of his forever-popular 1955 hit, joined by his band in this 2008 performance. It is the greatest-selling piano recording of all time, and the only piano instrumental recording to reach number one on the Billboard charts, and became Roger's signature song. "Autumn Leaves," was written by Joseph Kosma in 1945, with the original lyrics written by Jacques Prévert in French and the English lyrics by Johnny Mercer.
