Melissa Cooper It's actually harder than acting in front of a camera, because you have to convey just as much depth and character without using your face or body.
You know Cree Summer too? Me too. She’s my favorite African American actress. She played as a lot of good characters: Elmyra from Tiny Toons, Peebo from proud family, Cleo from Clifford the Big red dog(the original), Abigail Lincoln from Codename: Kids next door, Frightwig from the Ben 10 franchise and Khanie from Wacky World she played as the baby panda in the cartoon segment: Ghengis and Khanie. Oh my goodness, Khanie was so adorable 🥰. Who doesn’t love baby pandas?
Tress ManNeille is one of the greatest voice actresses up there with June Foray in my book. She's a living legend and I had the honor of meeting her once never forget it. Very sweet, classy and humble
I never tapped on one of your videos so fast. Tress McNeil is one of the best voice actresses. I’ve been a huge fan since Animaniacs. I can’t wait for the reboot.
She is absolutely the best! What I admire most is that she can be in character doing an impression of another character doing an impression of another character! That is so flipping hard it takes a master to accomplish and she does it with ease.
No she can't, dumbass. Hank Azaria said NONE of The Simpsons voice actors can do one of their characters doing another character, when talking about Mel Blanc, dumbass.
God.. This woman was a lot of characters from my childhood. Gadget and Chip from Rescue Rangers, Arnold's grandma, Charlotte Pickles from Rugrats, Darkwing Duck. Daisy Duck. She voiced characters in Kingdom Hearts (Chip and Daisy) and let's not forget Dot!. UUUUGH! The woman is amazing and a VA legend.
Dot, Gadget and Mom have their fans, but I still say her greatest creation is Babs. Babs is everything Tress is - a mimic, a comic, and all-around performer, she shows off the greatest range of her talents.
Agreed! Her role as Babs really surprised me, especially since she did all the impressions herself! And Colleen from Road Rovers was just as impressive- I didn;t know she could do a convincing British accent, but I shouldn;t have been too surprised. There ANYTHING she can;t do?!
Tress MacNeille is my childhood. ❤️ Even when watching Adventure Time I heard her voice. I was like “wait a minute. I’ve heard that voice from The Simpsons” and sure enough it’s her. I didn’t know she voiced so many classic characters in so many classic tv shows.
My favorite roles from Tress Macneille are; Babs Bunny, Dot (aka Princess Angelina Contasluisa franchesia banana fana bo besca the third), Hello Nurse, Mom from futurama, Fang from dave the barbarian, grandma from Hey arnold, and Daisy Duck.
During the first half of the 1990's, Tress MacNeille was Babs Bunny, Dot Warner and Callie Briggs- the first two were comedic voice-over roles, the third was dramatic!!!
THANK GOODNESS you included a couple snippets of Tress MacNeille voicing Dil the blind alligator in The Land Before Time IV: 11:38!! That is my *favourite* vocal performance by her, she went extra deep and gritty like she chain-smoked a pack of cigarettes 😂 One of the GOATs of voice acting. 👌
I met her once at San Diego Comic Con. She was on a panel celebrating the anniversary of Animaniacs alongside Rob Paulsen, Jess Harnell, & composer Randy Roegel, who did all the music for the show. It was awesome to see them all there in 2016. She's coming to San Diego for a live concert of the music of Animaniacs. It'll be in July.
Favorite Roles: Babs from Tiny Toon Adventures, The Ghost of Sarah Ravencroft from Scooby Doo and the Whiches Ghost, and Wilma Flintstone, especially on Flintstones on the Rocks.
She really is one of the most amazing voice actors on this planet, when I was younger and I wouldn’t have ever guessed that Dot Warner from Animaniacs and Agnes Skinner from the Simpsons share a voice actress, that just goes to show how much range she has, thank you Tress for everything!
7:27 “IPKISS!!!” I freaking love her as Mrs. Peenman from The Mask, she’s just as good as her film counterpart that was played by Nancy Fish (very peculiar name haha).
Seriously, why has this women not only been nominated for more than one Primetime Emmy, but hasn't had multiple wins especially for her work on The Simpsons and Futurama
I absolutely love Tress! Such a wonderful person to meet, she genuinely loves to meet and interact with her fans. And that meeting with her is one of my favorite Con experiences ever.
Excellent compilation of a talented voice actress that has been a part of many people's childhoods and adult lives. Much appreciated. I loved how it had the years abnd the title of the show/movie.
Without a conflicting and serious doubt, she voiced iconic characters in TV shows like The Simpsons, Futurama, Animaniacs, Tiny Toons, Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers, and a number of other franchises!
Maybe i'm just biased because i love C&DRR, but Chip and Gadget are my personal favorite Tress Macneille roles. Flirting with your own Character as a different Character is not an easy task, but she pulled it off perfectly lol.
This woman has literally voiced every single funny character I’ve ever known as a kid. WOW she is amazing. I’m sure there’s plenty more animations that she’s voiced that didn’t make it on this short clip.
Ah one of my fav voice actresses, my fav will always be Babs Bunny. Such a fun character she was. Thanks for everything and a sweet childhood Miss Tress! =)
It's funny. Years ago when I saw the movie, Serial Mom with Kathleen Turner, there was a scene where her character was making obscene phone calls to her elderly neighbor in a heavily disguised voice. I kept thinking it was Tress McNeill dubbing in the disguised voice. It was not. I couldn't find Serial Mom listed under Tress' filmography. Oh well... Very talented voice actress BTW.
1:52 that's pretty cool that tress macneille voiced Wilma in that Flintstones movie since her voice really does sound like the original actress who did Wilma's voice in the original show
I wish if I were the voice of Wilma, because I'm pretty good at sounds like her! and my voice really does sound like a Original actress who did voiced Wilma Flintstone from back in the old days.
I was waiting to see Dil on this list. I don't know why other than the fact that I love The Land Before Time. I was more surprise than excited than to see Ducky's and Petrie's mothers on here because I didn't know they were voiced by the same person who voiced Dil.
Tress MacNeille is very talented, isn't she? I heard that she replaced the late Russi Taylor for the voices of Sherri and Terri, Wendell and Uter on The Simpsons. 👏🏼

She's kind of the reason why I want to be a voice actor!
Voice acting seems easier then acting in front of the camera.
@@melissacooper4282 Totally!

She sure is!
This woman's voice is forever in the back of my head, so classic!
She's #1!
She
I love when she does crazy old lady voices, like Crazy Cat Lady from The Simpsons or Hattie McCulloch from Futurama.
And Doris Muntz, Nelson's Mom! Also Charlotte Pickles on Rugrats and All Grown Up.
@@Tornado1994 Most of her Simpsons characters are mediocre. Dolph is still cool, though.
@@dannythomas417 mediocre how? They are important characters to the show
@Leo B Maybe so, but they’re unlikeable. I still love Tress, though. Anyone of those characters die, it’s over.
