As an audience member that saw you for the first time live a few years ago when you played a festival in Denmark, I LOVED that you played alot of new stuff alongside the older stuff. Hearing the old stuff was amazing, but it didn't end up being like a "Greatest hits" thing, which was good. It was so cool when you launched into that Tiberius intro. Hell yes.

yeh i love riffs on a bontempi organ from the 1980s. if im wrong ill happily admit it but this album will be laden with synths, badly produced and probably have awful artwork.

I haven’t even thought about what the music industry is like now. I listen to all older music- classic rock, grunge, 50’s, 60’s. I hate the music these days and the way older music is discovered is all through commercials, Netflix shows, movies and such. I mean are there great albums getting put out these days? Not really. Very few artists these days have I discovered to be worth listening to. it’s amazing to think where will the music industry lead to…. People need to find creativity in their own ways and become more present in life and maybe more people will find some talent. Lol

I won't probably get an answer but, just in case...what about Machina 2? Back then, when it was released online, many, many years ago, I remember spending so much time downloading the album because my internet connection was so slow in those days. Will Machina 2 ever be re-released? Also, I've seen so many different album covers, I'm still not sure which one is the "real" one of if there's even a "real" one.
Part two was called "Machina II: The Friends and Enemies of Modern Music" When the record label wouldn't let the Pumpkins release Machina as a double album, they released "Machina: The Machines of God" officially but the other half, Billy released online for free, there at lots of different downloadable versions out there but it has been said that when Machina is finally re-released, it will be the whole thing, the entire Machina project will be released as one, with all songs included :)

Back then, I was still living with my parents. We had an Internet access but you had to unplug the phone to be able to connect to the Internet. It wasn't just the speed that was unbelievably slow, I had to wait until my parents went to sleep, so that I could unplug the phone! It took me *days* to download all of the songs! This was also when I went to see them live for the first time. It was in 1999 in Ghent, Belgium and I remember that, at some point, during the show, Billy asked someone to come up on stage to translate something he wanted to say and then he talked about Machina 2, about the label not wanting to release the album and that they were going to give it out for free and invited everyone to download it. Fun times!

I dont know.He's done these Q & A's for years.Hes been talking about the Machina reissue for what 10 years now? It did make my day when he mentioned Massive Attack. The first two albums were the best.Mezzanine was OK for me though it seems to be the fan favorite.He must have been inspired by the later Massive Attack on Adore or even Cyr.Earlier Massive had this late night groovy jazzy feel but the newer Massive Attack is darker.I know one thing is for sure and that is you can never take Corgan at face value on these Q & A's in terms of the Reissues or announcements.Another thing he has had a bad habit of doing is talking up and hyping projects.Shiny had one good song and the rest was uninspired and I remember him saying it was a Pisces Iscariot type record.As far as the 33 song album goes I won't hold my breath.When he was talking about being the bad cop and producers not fitting the reality of what he wants didnt give me much hope for the 33 song album. Production has tanked his music for 15 years.I remember Kerry saying about 10 years ago Billy doesn't listen to anyone.I know its his vision but look at a song like Owata.Great track ruined by production.It doesn't give me much hope for this 33 song album (assuming its not shelved or abandoned).I just doubt if Billy can pull off the sonic diversity and ambition that would be required for it.Its a fair comcern because look at Teargarden.Remember that 44 song album? Machina reissue,Zwan reissue,Teargarden complete and Chicago Kid would be dreams come true.But with Corgans history dont count on him to deliver the resissues and new material.In spite of the years of frustration I still somehow enjoy hearing his insight in these interviews.

This guy is crazy.I think its funny in this video he criticizes record label "models" but his "models" of getting things to his fans has been horrible such as archives,Cyr vinyl and recent incomplete Gish live show.I cant justify spending that if theres not B Sides or bonus tracks to give me incentive to drop that kind of money.He basically has all the rights to his music (rightfully so) and can put what he wants from the archives when he wants and any new albums he has had free reign as a producer and the big label pressure isnt there and to be honest it has reflected negatively on his later work in terms of production. These videos are all the same.When you've seen one youve seen them all because again hes been going on about this for what seems like almost 20 years.Its frustrating.Its a part of the reason I dont go to his shows and buy merchandise.Just kind of done expecting or hoping based on these videos.I truly wonder if he actually enjoys kind of dangling things to his fans.Maybe we will finally be proven wrong but I wont count on it.
