It was such a simpler time. I was 12, playing this game every single day after school. I spent hours upon hours on my moon, creating silly things and goofing off with my friends that I'd met by joining random people. God, I wish I could have that back more than anything. To just forget about the complete trainwreck our world has become and just be innocent and happy again. But now it's too late. We'll never be those kids again, and we'll never relive those old times again. The best I can do is move forward, treasuring the memories we made together with bittersweet nostalgia, and hope to create new ones some day.

I think little big planet is unironically the closest video game (just like minecraft) to be considered perfection in a video game For a game that provide unrealistic amounts of levels and fun to have, this game does so much service and unity to gaming as a whole and it’s a damn shame it won’t be back in its original form unless a miracle of LBP 4 came to be
I'd say LittleBigPlanet 2 was the best one, it was a fun experience, better soundtracks, less buggy... but the reason why i loved this game so much was because my friends were always playing it, so i would play with them. One day however, they moved on and it destroyed me because i never saw them again. So everyday i would spend 2 hours playing LittleBigPlanet 2 to remember them.
Jordan Adorno yeah, lbp 2 is probably the best one, but the lbp vita edition is also amazing. the story plot in vita edition is better in my opinion, but lbp 2 still wins.
I remember joining a random pod with a dude playing by himself and he was afk so I waited for him to come back. After like 10 minutes he came back and we started to play over 30 levels for hours upon hours. We then added each other and played BO2 everyday on Search and Destroy. But when the next gen consoles started coming out we started to fade. I tried messaging him but he never answered, and now every so often I go to his profile and just stare at the username I was so used to saying over the mic, the same 8 ball avatar I saw whenever he got online. I miss you Dope_House 🎱

Anybody here got nostalgia? Playing with random friends online, this is a game where you removed the limit of your creativity. Rollercoasters, robots, spaceships, and even stuffs from movies. Especially (star wars) we dropped a single or more tears when we heard the opening of this song. This is our childhood, this is Little Big Planet. And we miss it very much.

Little Big Planet 3 on PS4 is unfortunately shutting down. It was the last and final LBP Game aside from Sackboy adventures we had left. Thank you, Little Big Planet. We hope to see the series return in the future...
I think I can speak for a lot of us and say that this game holds the biggest place in my heart during my child years than anything in my life. Never has anything made me meet such amazing friends who I still know to this day, with memories that I will cherish forever. This game taught me that life has a creative, fun and free side to it. I felt safe, I felt happy and I felt like it was ‘home’ for some time as silly as that may sound. I would play late into the night with friends doing silly role plays, making cars, making music, or doing those amazing hide and seek levels etc. I built a nightclub and we used to go there too. It was just simply wonderful. Heart filling. This song literally brought a tear to my eye in wonderment at how much fun I actually had back then. It made me remember a time where I felt like I fit in, as I never felt like I did in the real world. It’s made me the person I am today. Creative, inspired and happy! It’s sad that we all ‘grow up’ physically, move on, go to college, university and do real life things, but it all started at this point for some of us. Sometimes we all put the controller down for a period of time, but then you get reminded of when you used to have all of that time and spirit to play. LittleBigPlanet was the biggest part of my childhood. I was so happy back then. I am very happy now as well still even with the stress of highschool due to making true, new friends; but nothing will ever amount to what I felt playing LBP. Only way to experience the past again is to dream, but even that is just a mere shadow of what the memories were. Nevertheless, I want to dream it all over again someday

Reading the comments and listening makes me sad. I remember all the good times I had with LBP2 and PS3. :) I used to play with my dad all the time but when we finished the story mode, we didnt do anything on LBP2 anymore. So we bought LBP1. It was hard for us. So we just stopped playing them. :(

I actually played little big planet 3 and it was no where near like lbp 2, lbp 2 has an amazing story, amazing boss battles and levels. I actually want to play it all over again. I remember when me and my cousins and brother also play. I mean always. Thank you lbp 2 and 1 for the memories :)
It sucks knowing the days where you sat down playing this with friends or family will now grow more and more distant as the years go on, and there's no way you can go back. Even if the servers come back up and thousands play again, it will never be the same as when you were an innocent child with a bright future ahead of them. And the fascination of playing horror levels like Jeff the killer.
This game was my childhood. I met one of my best and closest friends randomly in "dive in" when I was around 7 years old, we still talk and play together to this day. I get so much nostalgia from this game, all the memories and fun that we all had playing this game. It's so sad that Media Molecule stopped with the LBP franchise, and Sumo Digital clearly isn't competent enough to continue it, since they don't understand LBP properly. This game will never be forgotten, it's honestly so beautiful. LBP3 will never give me the same feeling that LBP2 gives me.

Jordan Adorno yeah, lbp 2 is probably the best one, but the lbp vita edition is also amazing. the story plot in vita edition is better in my opinion, but lbp 2 still wins.

Be honest guys, we searched for this to feel nostalgic and old and we don't regret that the memories we made will be with us forever!
I remember joining a random pod with a dude playing by himself and he was afk so I waited for him to come back. After like 10 minutes he came back and we started to play over 30 levels for hours upon hours. We then added each other and played BO2 everyday on Search and Destroy. But when the next gen consoles started coming out we started to fade. I tried messaging him but he never answered, and now every so often I go to his profile and just stare at the username I was so used to saying over the mic, the same 8 ball avatar I saw whenever he got online. I miss you Dope_House 🎱

Anybody here got nostalgia? Playing with random friends online, this is a game where you removed the limit of your creativity. Rollercoasters, robots, spaceships, and even stuffs from movies. Especially (star wars) we dropped a single or more tears when we heard the opening of this song. This is our childhood, this is Little Big Planet. And we miss it very much.

I think I can speak for a lot of us and say that this game holds the biggest place in my heart during my child years than anything in my life.
Never has anything made me meet such amazing friends who I still know to this day, with memories that I will cherish forever. This game taught me that life has a creative, fun and free side to it. I felt safe, I felt happy and I felt like it was ‘home’ for some time as silly as that may sound.
I would play late into the night with friends doing silly role plays, making cars, making music, or doing those amazing hide and seek levels etc. I built a nightclub and we used to go there too. It was just simply wonderful. Heart filling.
This song literally brought a tear to my eye in wonderment at how much fun I actually had back then. It made me remember a time where I felt like I fit in, as I never felt like I did in the real world. It’s made me the person I am today. Creative, inspired and happy!
It’s sad that we all ‘grow up’ physically, move on, go to college, university and do real life things, but it all started at this point for some of us. Sometimes we all put the controller down for a period of time, but then you get reminded of when you used to have all of that time and spirit to play.
To all my friends I met on there and the entire LBP community, I can’t thank you guys enough. You all made it so magical.

Such an Era this was. My childhood. not all good things last forever, I'm glad I cherished this game as long as I can. I just wish they did more to try to save the game before just giving up and closing the servers permanently.

I was flooding with emotions when I heard this song...I played with all three of my brothers...I was 3-4 the middle child was 6-7 and the oldest was 8-10 and eventually thy got older and lost interest in playing with me or playing lb3

LittleBigPlanet was the biggest part of my childhood. I was so happy back then. I am very happy now as well still even with the stress of highschool due to making true, new friends; but nothing will ever amount to what I felt playing LBP. Only way to experience the past again is to dream, but even that is just a mere shadow of what the memories were. Nevertheless, I want to dream it all over again someday

On behalf of everyone here, i think its safe to say that LittleBigPlanet will always have a place in our hearts.
All of us just had received the terrible news, of shutting down not only ps3 servera, but now even ps4. Yes, that sucks, we just lost absolutely EVERYTHING from the game. But we haven't lost our memories. When we remember the LittleBigPlanet - the game is still alive.
Don't stop, continue your life, everything is still going on, we just have to remember the game. Share your memories, continue creating your imaginations and enjoy it with everyone else.
And thank you, Littlebigplanet players, for creating such a beautiful community and the game itself.

Reading the comments and listening makes me sad. I remember all the good times I had with LBP2 and PS3. :) I used to play with my dad all the time but when we finished the story mode, we didnt do anything on LBP2 anymore. So we bought LBP1. It was hard for us. So we just stopped playing them. :(

I actually played little big planet 3 and it was no where near like lbp 2, lbp 2 has an amazing story, amazing boss battles and levels. I actually want to play it all over again. I remember when me and my cousins and brother also play. I mean always. Thank you lbp 2 and 1 for the memories :)
It sucks knowing the days where you sat down playing this with friends or family will now grow more and more distant as the years go on, and there's no way you can go back. Even if the servers come back up and thousands play again, it will never be the same as when you were an innocent child with a bright future ahead of them. And the fascination of playing horror levels like Jeff the killer.

This game was my childhood. I met one of my best and closest friends randomly in "dive in" when I was around 7 years old, we still talk and play together to this day. I get so much nostalgia from this game, all the memories and fun that we all had playing this game. It's so sad that Media Molecule stopped with the LBP franchise, and Sumo Digital clearly isn't competent enough to continue it, since they don't understand LBP properly.
This game will never be forgotten, it's honestly so beautiful.
LBP3 will never give me the same feeling that LBP2 gives me.
