  • Hey everyone!
    In this video I will be showing how I installed a 4" VRSF Cat-less down-pipe on my 2015 BMW F30 335i with the N55 (Electronic Waste-gate). 2013 model 335i's have a pneumatic waste-gate that has a smaller 3.5" down-pipe. However, the process for installing either downpipe is pretty much the same as I demonstrate in the video. Just make sure to do your research and get the correct size down-pipe and not run into a mis order like my a$$. NOTE: I'm not a certified mechanic or do this as a profession.
    Thanks for watching!

      that's awesome my bro! keep in mind this video is for EWG so only use it it as reference and not an exact fit. the installation method is similar but not the same. Thank you for watching and good luck!

    I had mechanic install a catless dp from vrsf on my 435i (f33) and man did the performance change. I also had installed a front mount intercooler, and chargepipe. I also tuned it to stage 2 using mhd and man it seemed like a whole different car. I think i went from 300hp to around 360hp. But the kicker was i couldn't handle the smell that the catless dp came with. Way to strong of a smell and plus it was my daily. I had to go back to stock but saving up for a high flow catted dp cause i miss those performance gains. Also my gas was running out far quicker on stage 2 so just something to think about

      yea, tuning with added bolt ons is night and day in comparison to stock. Although ive never dyno'd this car, stage 2 with required supporting mods makes more than 360whp on 93 octane which is over 400hp on the motor. Next up will pure turbo upgrade and a high pressure pump. I am looking to get to 400whp one day. Good luck and thank you for watching!

    Nice job getting all of the install on video while doing this man. Must have been a pita.
    What are you doing come emissions time? There's a "downpipe fix" but it only works for the pwg. Or do you even have emissions in Canada?

    Hi after installing my downpipe to my bmw x5 e70 n55 is it normal to smoke a bit of blueish when reving the car . i didnt have that smoke with the stock downpipe 😢 what could be ?

    • @pabloduhcanadian6328
      @pabloduhcanadian6328  8 месяцев назад +1

      🤔 it could be 1 of 2 things. Blueish smoke is SOMETIMES an indication of oil burn off from a bad turbo seal which wasn’t apparent until you freed up the exhaust flow and any gases/burn off. Or, it could be the oily substance that the downpipe brand coats to protect the pipe from oxidation and therefore burns off when the downpipe heats up for the first time. I hope this helps bro, good luck and thank you for watching 🤙🏾

    • @pabloduhcanadian6328
      @pabloduhcanadian6328  Год назад

      that sounds like you might have an exhaust leak somewhere. A trumpet sound is new to me. did you disconnect anything else like a vacuum line etc? Not sure i can help but ill do what I can. thank you for watching

      @dndxander Год назад +1

      @@pabloduhcanadian6328 nope but what is an exhaust leak exactly? I know there’s little holes in my exhaust pipes near the end could that be it?

    • @pabloduhcanadian6328
      @pabloduhcanadian6328  Год назад

      @@dndxander if the sound originated once the downpipe went on then I assume the holes near the other end of your exhaust shouldn’t matter. I would double check fitment and retighten any and everything you touched or removed and go from there.

      Hey man, I actually used the factory clamps and gaskets at that time. The ones that came with the downpipe didn’t fit very well. is there any specific torque specs for any of the bolts or just as tight as you can with hand? Awesome vid bro. Showed everything super clearly. Only thing I'm worried about is trying to get the top bolt. Seen a lot of people struggling with it and I'm worried about it lol

      The top bolt was definitely a pain in the ass lol. I could not find specific torque specs, but I did tighten it by hand and have removed the downpipe twice since then and it has not seized so that’s good. I appreciate you watching, means a lot.

      Hey man not at all at least not that I can recognize or in comparison to my previous cars. its still very quiet but from what I've heard, if you do a downpipe and a resonator delete you may get a slight drone but nothing in comparison to a normal loud droning. these cars are relatively quiet. thanks for watching and I hope this helps :)
