These bookshop stories just keep getting better. I had to listen again during the day as that's the only way i could get to hear the end. Bookshops and libraries have always been my place to relax when the world around me had gone mad.
Why are there ads at the end of your videos now? I used to fall asleep really early on, and then there is a rude, loud awakening 😮 I am sorry I don't want to listen to your stories any more. It's such a shame 😢
Love the bookshop stories! Steven you have a special gift without your stories it would take anywhere from 3 to 4 hours for me just to fall asleep! The relaxation sessions help a lot, I do like the 10 to 1 count down,but I like the body scan to release tension and maybe mix it up . seems you've been only doing the count down 10 to 1 lately. genuinely speaking, i can fall asleep faster listening to your stories. I think the reason behind that is the tone you use. I noticed other storytellers “with all love and respect to them” fail to get the audience in the mood to sleep, as they tell the story so brightly just like any other “daytime” story. You on the other hand, have a way of making your tone “not too deep yet not too loud” which is the perfect tone for bedtime stories👍🏻 Another reason is your choice of stories! im actually invested in the plots atp😭 thank you for making falling asleep a bit easier for people like me❤

I have a most serendipitous idea for a story. A sock monkey in a store decides he’s going to home with a kid he notices so he hops in the parent’s purse and rides all the way home with them. They call the store and they say they’ve never even carried sock monkeys and no one knows where he came from. So the kid keeps him! They all live happily ever after as a kid and their new favorite toy.

There is a down side to having more subscribers on any social media and the powers that be will throw more commercials in, the more subscribers or followers you have. In that respect I can see the benevolence of this new device, but like Shakespeare said “nothing is either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.” One of my favorite plays to read is Hamlet, although that is not particularly a holiday story. I was thinking it might be interesting if you read It’s a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Carol, or something that would give the true meaning of this time of year 🤍🕊️. Perhaps a holiday story on a train, I have grown accustomed to those types of stories relaxing. If you feel so inclined a story of your Christmas growing up🕊️
