i do believe that it is much easier to find any type of help in a truck vs any type of outdoor cart. my cart is 10 grand brand new but even still it is alot easier to fail with a truck because of the purchase price. i do want a truck but don't feel like i need one. i can see myself getting a second cart or just another simple tent setup for festivals cause it is easier to manage. hopefully this year will be better than last.

I started with my hot dog cart a year ago and I love it! I plan on eventually getting a concession trailer to use at events and for catering, but I love working the cart.

Hi, do one needs commercial driver's insurance to drive the cart around?
    Thank you, very helpful

PlanetChat J I’m not sure in your state. My state doesn’t require commercial drivers insurance.

Great video as usual....I'm down here in Dallas carts are rare..unless I pay 3- 4k for a used cart and I stay in apt. Any help for looking for carts and storage

Future Generation I would look in FB groups with concessions equipment for sale! You can find some really good deals. I would find a friend or family members house to store my cart for a cheap fee or free!

Future Generation if you put a sink in the truck and have the proper equipment to hold storage temps you should be fine. One you do that just apply for a health permit.

I watched your video on a $5000 food truck, and I was wondering if you think that it is a good market to try and take a food truck to baseball tournaments or college sporting events where there is no concession stand. Do you think that is enough of a market or would I need more than that to survive and make it worth my time? Thank you so much for your videos!!

Anne Shirley yes it’s a great time to start at sporting events!

@@MobileFoodBooth Thank you so much for your reply!! I was just thinking of having kind of a simple menu. Ice cream, brownies, frozen banana cream, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches and a couple of other things. Do you think that I can be successful with a simple menu or do I need to have a greater variety in order to succeed? Also my goal is to make everything with honey instead of sugar which I already have pretty much figured out. Thanks!

Anne Shirley you can be successful with a simple menu. Be sure to have amazing food and customer service and you’ll be fine.

@@MobileFoodBooth Sorry to keep taking your time but I saw this food truck on Craigslist and it seems too good to be true. Would you maybe take a look and see what you think. lexington.craigslist.org/bfs/d/lexington-food-truck-for-sale/7152292796.html
They said that it was their sons who recently died and it has bad memories and they just want to get rid of it.
