    Like Bubka, Lavillenie has raised the bar...excuse the pun. But what makes Bubka the greatest is the fact that won every single international competition he entered. His record across olympic, world champs, european champs etc is impeccable.

    Now Mondo Duplantis is in the lead with 6m18 and he’s only 20 and he gapped that height by a little and he can get higher

    Who can answer: why are indoor and outdoor records divided in athletics? What is the difference where does an athlete do a pole vault, long jump, high jump?
    I can understand running. Indoor track is shorter, a turn is more difficult... but jumps...
