Same. Hearing every shot land cleanly on Tony's face was hard to watch. Pretty sure it has an impact on a fighters performance, too.
For some Athletes it may has a good influence because they may felt less pressured.
But on the other hand, there are plenty of athletes who get fueled by getting cheers & fan support, from outside the octagon.
But for us as audience, it takes away some of the vibe. Yet I'm glad they didn't use some Fake Crowd Chants & Voices to compensate that.

Yeah, but Tony does himself zero favors. Idr if this was still his “I’m my own coach” phase, but he doesn’t surround himself with the best coaching. He could have had himself a useful corner, but he didn’t, so don’t really feel too bad for him.
Someone absolutely should have thrown in a towel though.

Tony is the toughest light weight the UFC has seen in a long ass time. Never got KO’d in this fight, and Justin ain’t no pillow puncher. Oliviera had him in the gnarliest arm bar to the point to where his arm was on verge of snapping and he didn’t tap. Who cares that he lost twice in a row, Gaethje did too and look how strong he came back 👍
