Hello Paddy. I have found your channel a month ago when me and my husband decided to have a 4 weeks Thailand tour with kids (5 and 1). Your videos are absolutely amazing and informative. these are gonna help us a lot to plan our trip. Thanks and Best wishes.
Dugong started moving out from Trang and Libong island for months , because of not enough food. That make it harder to see them. Good news is , we’ve found a new spot for sighting them at Rawai bridge in Phuket since August 2024, and it’s so much easier to see them😊
I have been mildly obsessed with Thailand since I backpacked there for 7 months many years ago, and have revisited about 10 times since, but I have definitely taken some notes from your video, great information, thank you! x
My husband and myself are planning on a 3 months trip to Thailand this time around and cannot wait!! We will definitely be doing the Hidden Bangkok Boat Tours, The Green Lung, and especially Koh Chang since we’ve never been there before & because of your Koh Chang Series 😊 You sure have come a long way Paddy……and we have been watching your awesome next level adventure channel for a while now! Thanks for creating this one😊
Beautiful video Paddy. I got you beat by 10 years mate, but I have not done most of these things. Excellent informative video! One your forgot and perhaps have not done yet. Go on a white water adventure down the Nan river in northern Thailand. Just epic!
@@giuliabi3539most, if not all of that part of Thailand is affected in the'burning season', because the burning is also done in Laos and Myanmar, Thailand's neighbours. Perhaps more of the smoke in northern Thailand comes from those two neighbours than from burning in Thailand itself.
Thanks for the guide, Paddy. I think I've seen all of these places on your channel before, but it was nice that you compiled this list and included clips to refresh my memory.
I have traveled to Thailand many times and have also spent a few months on several occasions in BKK. I like that you recommend things that are not on most of the popular lists, like the green lung - a truly surprising place to find in the middle of Bangkok.
I have watched every episode of your travels in Thailand and I’m still amazed on what you have achieved and watching this has put more places on my map to visit in Thailand 🇹🇭 and my travels awaits
Lovely selection Paddy! With your interest in Bangkok for cycling, Thonburi, the canals and going off the beaten path, you will love our 5 hour bike/boat tour through Chinatown and Thonburi. Children from 6 years onwards cycle themselves, so it's as safe at it gets away from traffic! Nevertheless, keep up the good work! ~ Co van Kessel bangkok team
If you had to choose between either visiting the 3 Koh Muk, Koh Kradan, Koh Libong or… visiting the group of Koh Mak, Koh Chang, & koh Kood… which group would you choose? Thanks for the helpful video!
Paddy i thank you 😊 planning my first trip for 30 days in January. This is following mums death and my own long battle with illness. Hoping to find my lust for life again. Your vids are so helpful. Keep them coming ❤
Ha, was that Bangkok Pat next to you at the soccer game? Ive got 50 days in Thailand coming up at the end of november and cant wait. This will be my 3rd trip and there is still so much to see!
I love the Bangkok stuff Paddy. I always avoided it for a long time as I cant be bothered with the multiple transportation systems but the hidden tour looks amazing! I reckon I could live there after all your insights.
Awesome video !! Thanks for reminding me that I will have to go back 😅 I have 1 question regarding the Hidden Bangkok Tour. On their Instagram, they offer 4 different tours, which one did you do ? 3:04

this was such a wonderful video and I greatly appreciate it. But, as an older person with some disabilities could you do a video of places to see and things to do in Thailand for somebody who has mobility issues? thanks for all of the great content you provide.
Paddy a TV company needs to sign you up, your knowledge and superb presentation skills are outstanding, remember I told you when the big guns come seeking your signature on the contract!

I’ve just re-arranged my 1 month break at Xmas. I’ve followed your trails in person for the past 3 years, and will go see some new stuff. Will head to Trang and kanchanaburi. I think it’s time you did a new Thailand bike trip. Maybe do east to west and north to south as a theme.

Most interesting, but several suggestions are not of interest to many older people. One problem with these types of videos is that they focus on the age group of the vlogger. There is a whole crowd out there of over 60 visitors, so an idea would be for you to do a similar video aimed at healthy visitors over 60 who are not into hiking and long distance road trips (but air travel is ok). Just a suggestion 😊✌️
Whete did you get the "fast" long tail ride from please Paddy ?? Was that in the "Cobra" canal area east of Suvarnabhumi where they do those drag races? Or somewhere else? Thanks in advance,....and a great vlog as always 👍
Hey Going to Thailand next month and this is like my 9th trip there or something. Based on your recommendation in another video of Chanthaburi, i'm going to be staying there to check out the city area on the way to Koh Kood! Totally agree with your suggestions here at least the ones i've been to. Thanks!
Paddy, are you free this Sunday, Oct 27 from 3 pm? There will be a royal barge procession from around Rama 8 Bridge to Wat Arun. The king will be offering monk robes as part of the end of the Buddhist Lent. 52 barges and 2,399 oarsmen w/ the main barge, the Golden Swan, being 130 yrs old bulit during King Rama 5 and completed King Rama 6. The procession is 1.28 km long. It's going to be spectacular! Doesn't happen too often. Last time was during King Rama 10's coronation 4 yrs ago.
Go to Koh chang first (5-6 hours from BKK by bus) then Koh waii. Koh chang and Koh waii are in same area so you would not spend much time to travel. Back to BKK and fly to Surat Thani and take a van to Khao sok.
Want to come but got only april next year. I know its hot and smokey season in North. Are there some regions in north not too affect with the smoke? South in hot seasons?

To the base of the path to climb to Royal Pavillion, you can walk from the park entrance OR take a boat. There is value for both. Hiking is... well, added steps. We will do this next time. Boat: You walk out across the mud flats to the boat. Barefoot or (perhaps?) water shoes are recommended. The mud was mid-calf for us. I would try my mid water shoe next time for both mud flats and hoofing it up the mountain; going down is steep so recommended is appropriate footwear, eg hiking shoes/boots. BUT, well worth it!!! We stayed in south Hua Hin, near the mini-monkey mountain with the temples. 3 Chefs and _en_route_, amazing seafood, fresh off the boat.

Yes thailand has a lot to offer... but it is very unfair that foreigners have to pay 300 to 500 bht x person to visit national parks and some temples while locals don't pay more than 40 bht. That's a real shame to be ripped off this way😳
