Other thing is that it indeed shorts out lightsabers and is effective against blaster bolts, but is not very resistant to physical damage. Hence why they broke his helmet so easily. It also appeared in the books and comics, but this was the first time on screen.
This was my favorite episode yet. Btw, they're selling a Black Series replica of that helmet. I think the initial run sold out and pre-orders are being taken for August 2025.
I’m enjoying this show. It’s not perfect, but I don’t see how people loved The Book of Boba Fett and hate this. It’s an insulated story with new characters that doesn’t mess with existing lore.
Well kinda yes, but it is still great. Because this episode kinda had more character development for two main characters (Osha and Qimir) then any other episode, so it was a pleasure to watch it.

Obviously it’s not as great as ep 5, but how could it be? Still a great episode in a very good (not perfect. Just very good) Star Wars show.
