We finally now know that Arlecchino's power is from the Crimson Moon dynasty of Khaenri'ah + she is from the royal bloodline. I hope we get to see the full extent of her powers! I don't want to see her hold back lol

The Traveler losing would have been so much more satisfying if they *actually* used any of their elemental abilities. Why were they fighting with just their sword instead of using the FIVE ELEMENTS THEY HAVE. Other than that, the scene was great, I just wish we actually had Traveler use all their elements instead of just having a sword and done
@@rea7176In-game no, but inlore the traveler is capable of wielding the elements without a gnosis, and at a pretty good level as well. The gnosis were created by a descender with similar abilities to the traveler, and you see how strong the gnosis are at buffing elemental capacities. The traveler is very strong if they actually decided to put their elemental powers and combat knowledge to use. They still wouldn't have beaten the Knave, but they would've put up a better fight.

i dont think traveler is strong in the very first place. remember we needed the strength of 100 vision to beat raiden shogun and need wisdom of sumeru people to beat scaramouche and even in the all devouring narwhal neuvillette helped us fighting us according to lore. venti helped us during dvalin fight in osail fight literally many adeptus fought and we fought his wife we got knocked.but remember nahida is not strong in physical combat but she can delete anyone from the teyvat. she is strong in her very own way.traveler's will can revival whole teyvat and celestia. so i think traveler themselves are weak but they become stronger with people's faith or confidence in them i guess? this mean when we fought that unknown god we are not totally strong in first place. and again archons except for ei but yae miko helped us.we still dont know how strong the present pyro archon is we do know that her people are stronger than average humans and maybe some vision holders too. As god of war she might help traveler if she is on traveler's team.
@@Daisy999 keep in mind traveler is still pretty strong in terms human standards. Remember we fought signora and won fairly by the time we had three elements. We fought god scara. Scara was fifth rank even before becoming a god. We got helped from nahida true, but that doesn't mean we're not weak. We got helped from neuvillete (full power neuvilete btw since focalors recently died)but the fact we still fought that thing means we are still capable of fighting it.
I mean, the first Harbinger we fought was the weakest one. The second one was number 8 and we had three elements in that fight. Then we beat Scaramouche with the help of Nahida after 168 tries, and now we're up against the 4th Harbinger with only the help of three teens trained by the Harbinger herself.

The way Lumine speaks "a crimson moon" so horrorified and scared, and the way she stares to Arlecchino shaking in absolute fear... Damn, now Lumine will join Furina, having nightmares with her all the nights for at least a month
I can see lumine going into her abyssling form full power mode elements too when she saw that moon and arle taking notice of lumine starting to freak out more untill she changes little by little like the ozaru in dragon ball and the blood thristy look in her eyes would be on par with arle as they would into a al out fight then arle would know lumie or and ather are not to be messed with if they were at full power the fact that they cuased a massive explosion asgainst asmoday even they she blocked it like nothing last millisecond it shows they arent weak amd that would be top moment of arle and travaler fight
So far, Arlecchino and Tartaglia have the most likeable personalities among the Harbringers we have met. Others are either dead, a brat and just scheming. Now, I can’t wait to meet the others.
I'm fine with the traveler losing against the 4th strongest Harbinger, tbh, but the fact we did not use a SINGLE elemental attack baffles me. Isn't the fact that we wield multiple elements well-known? Or are we keeping this a secret from a select few people?

It seems some people are upset the traveller could t beat her. I think it is refreshing and actually makes sense. It’s technically not the first time either. Remember: the traveller lost to the Raiden shogun the first time around and the only reason the traveller won the second bout was because we had Miko and the power of many vision holders buffing us.
I don’t think people are upset because the traveler lost but more the way he/she lost. It’s just the traveler gets no “showtime” really, even Navia looks stronger then the traveler in her story quest.

It's not about the defeat it's about how the traveler look so underwhelming compare to other cutscene. Also the traveler didn't even scratch Arle in a fair fight.
This is my favorite story quest. There wasn’t a npc character taking the spotlight from the main character. We didn’t have to do a commission for a npc that nobody cares about it. Everything thing that happened ties back to our hangout character. This is what makes this a damn good story quest.
I'll admit, low-key disappointed that the Traveler didn't win. However from a story stand point it makes sense. Out of all the Harbingers the Traveler has fought, The Knave is the strongest so far. Being the 4th Harbinger, The Knave is said to be one step below rivaling the Gods in terms of power and strength---with the 1st 3 Harbingers said to contain power and strength to rival if not surpass the Gods. Basically, the Traveler is due for a serious power upgrade if they wanna defeat any of the upper ranked Harbingers

Must just be the vocal director telling the VA to inflect differently, either to make a pretty serious questline feel more serious, or as a total change to the vocal direction. I hope for the later, since Paimon's voice can be very grating sometimes.

No wonder I found the cutscene "lacking" I just realized that the traveler did not even use any elemental skill, and relied on her dull sword or physical damage. Now let's not forget that the traveler possesses 5 elements and I believe they can use it at the same time yet they didn't. I find it quite odd though. Not to mention it is also the first time I saw the traveler tremble or shake (not even on Signora’s duel before the throne, or duel between Ei or Raiden Shogun.

I feel like hoyo is cooking some lore for traveller. Like what the heck? She used elemental powers to break a rock in navia story quest but went full physical on a harbinger? Istg traveller is hiding something from us. Remember when we told dain about what we saw in khean riah, i was like wait they daw that? By far travelling IS the most mysterious character with almost no lore... Its crazy how they act so weird. Other than that ut could be bad writing so that hoyi can advertise their waifu
100% agreed, traveler didn’t even use element power in the fight. I’m getting very bored of the story do to the fact that the main character have almost zero progress whatsoever. The traveler is underwhelming and always needs to be saved.
We've only ever fully beaten two harbingers in 1 on 1 combat. Signora(No. 8) and Childe( no. 11) scaramouche we had massive help from Nahida and ranks 1-3 are said to rival Gods. Arrlechino is clearly very close. Even though we have 5 elements under our belt which means we have roughly 70% of our original power back if we gain equal parts back with every element we gain. Which I doubt but even then its something to consider Now look at the context of the duel. We aren't fighting to kill, just trying to win. We aren't going yo be going all out. Travele was able to break out of the restraints while others can't and whenever traveler came in to fight she knocks Lyney team to the side to focus on us. We ARE a threat, it's just we don't have our full power and before we can go toe to toe with the other fatui we need our full strength.
She fully understands where she came from and what others may "think" of her. Though she may be performing very dangerous duties that can easily become her and her children's deaths, deep down, she does care about them and will not force them to go through with such missions. She does not want to follow the same steps as "mother", instead, she grants them an opportunity to leave, but the only condition is suffering the pain from her flames and lose all their memories about the House. Even though she has a very thick and tough shell, she still maintains a gentle heart.
Though, the fact she can’t die of old age, or be killed in battle easily… idk. It may sound dark or strange but… I kind of wonder if she will die later in the story. With how her story has been so far, I almost hope she may reincarnate with her friend one day. At least to get another chance to love the life she’d never got.

If you think about it, it makes sense that the traveler lost. Can you imagine that the traveler beating no.4 but will stuggle fighting no. 10,9,7 and 5? Since other members will show up later in the story. We need to beat those other numbers first though no.10 and 9 shouldn't be a problem since we beat Signora 1v1.

After this quest I really can't wait for what's in store for the future, it feels like we always end up with more questions than answers and this quest definitely added more to the pile.
I think this was to be an eye opener for the traveler to what is coming. She could have killed us, but didn’t. I think she knows what side she needs to be on, but can’t because of her position
Arle does care for her kids, just in a different way. she made sure the weaker ones would leave to save them from what lies ahead. so that only those who want to continue will stay on their own choice. and the way she speaks to lyney explaining why she chose him is such a father-son moment to me I love it

Nobody's mad about that. It's better for future storyline But the main thing is traveler has mastered 5 elements but doesn't bother to use them against opponents. During Fontaine storyline it feels like even characters like Navia,Clorinde who should be far below the traveler in terms of combat and elemental powers seems to much stronger than the traveler,it's frustrating, feels like the traveler made zero progress in improving but gets carried by everyone.

This just shows traveler is still very weak. In Mondstadt, we had Jean, Diluc and Venti (THE LITERAL ANEMO ARCHON) with us to fight dvalin. On Liyue, traveler was with multiple adeptis and other milleliths fighting Osial. Though fought childe alone, they weren’t able to defeat him, it was just the foul legacy that wore out Childe. In Inazuma, WE HAD YAE MIKO’S assistance fighting the raiden shogun. Funny thing is the traveler did faint the first time she came face to face with the puppet when she saved thoma. While in Sumeru, beating Scaramouche up ACTUALLY NAHIDA HELPED US. THE LITERAL DENDRO ARCHON TOO. As for fontaine (haven’t finished the quest yet) BUT THESE ALONE SERVES AS PROOF WE CAN’T FIGHT BY OURSELVES STILL.
What if? It’s revealed the siblings that act as the Traveler, are stronger than the Gods? But we’d lost our original power? Meaning it may have been fluke, and otherwise, The Knave would’ve been ended faster than anyone could blink? Just saying, it’d be a hell of a twist.
Man I'm so tired of seeing Traveler taking L's after L's. There is no redeeming feat for Traveler. Everything he achieved he achieved with someones help. Dvalin? Venti helped. Azhdaha? Zhongli helped. Osial? Adeptis, Xiao and many vision holder helped. Our 1v1 against Ei, she cooked us. Our fake 1v1 against Ei (with so many peoples ambition or power of friendship bs helped us), Scaramouche? He beat us 168 times in a row. Narwhal? Neuvillette soloed it actually. Knave? I was a little annoyed that the traveler lost :/ I guess all that adventuring and collecting elements were all for nothing. But then again, this is Arle's story, the outcome might be different if this fight happened during the archon quest.

i actually like that we see traveler lose tbh, but what i dont like is how they didnt even show the traveler try. Like actually their full potential against someone of a high harbinger rank, use their elements and shit to attack and defend, not just sword fighting and dodging. How would they scale themselves from there + the fact that their friends are gonna die technically if they lost.
Unrelated random note: Arlechino doesn’t fly when she exits the water. Thought that was a cool detail considering what we learn in this quest about her.

The gnosis were created by a descender with similar abilities to the traveler, and you see how strong the gnosis are at buffing elemental capacities.
The traveler is very strong if they actually decided to put their elemental powers and combat knowledge to use.
They still wouldn't have beaten the Knave, but they would've put up a better fight.

i dont think traveler is strong in the very first place. remember we needed the strength of 100 vision to beat raiden shogun and need wisdom of sumeru people to beat scaramouche and even in the all devouring narwhal neuvillette helped us fighting us according to lore. venti helped us during dvalin fight in osail fight literally many adeptus fought and we fought his wife we got knocked.but remember nahida is not strong in physical combat but she can delete anyone from the teyvat. she is strong in her very own way.traveler's will can revival whole teyvat and celestia. so i think traveler themselves are weak but they become stronger with people's faith or confidence in them i guess? this mean when we fought that unknown god we are not totally strong in first place.
and again archons except for ei but yae miko helped us.we still dont know how strong the present pyro archon is we do know that her people are stronger than average humans and maybe some vision holders too. As god of war she might help traveler if she is on traveler's team.

Scara was fifth rank even before becoming a god. We got helped from nahida true, but that doesn't mean we're not weak. We got helped from neuvillete (full power neuvilete btw since focalors recently died)but the fact we still fought that thing means we are still capable of fighting it.

Remember: the traveller lost to the Raiden shogun the first time around and the only reason the traveller won the second bout was because we had Miko and the power of many vision holders buffing us.
I don’t think people are upset because the traveler lost but more the way he/she lost. It’s just the traveler gets no “showtime” really, even Navia looks stronger then the traveler in her story quest.
Imagine having multiple elements and doesn't used all of them at the same time. That's why people are mad. The scene didn't show Traveler being strong at all.
It's not about the defeat it's about how the traveler look so underwhelming compare to other cutscene. Also the traveler didn't even scratch Arle in a fair fight.

This is my favorite story quest. There wasn’t a npc character taking the spotlight from the main character. We didn’t have to do a commission for a npc that nobody cares about it. Everything thing that happened ties back to our hangout character. This is what makes this a damn good story quest.

I'll admit, low-key disappointed that the Traveler didn't win. However from a story stand point it makes sense. Out of all the Harbingers the Traveler has fought, The Knave is the strongest so far. Being the 4th Harbinger, The Knave is said to be one step below rivaling the Gods in terms of power and strength---with the 1st 3 Harbingers said to contain power and strength to rival if not surpass the Gods. Basically, the Traveler is due for a serious power upgrade if they wanna defeat any of the upper ranked Harbingers

I feel like hoyo is cooking some lore for traveller. Like what the heck? She used elemental powers to break a rock in navia story quest but went full physical on a harbinger? Istg traveller is hiding something from us. Remember when we told dain about what we saw in khean riah, i was like wait they daw that? By far travelling IS the most mysterious character with almost no lore... Its crazy how they act so weird. Other than that ut could be bad writing so that hoyi can advertise their waifu
100% agreed, traveler didn’t even use element power in the fight. I’m getting very bored of the story do to the fact that the main character have almost zero progress whatsoever. The traveler is underwhelming and always needs to be saved.

We've only ever fully beaten two harbingers in 1 on 1 combat. Signora(No. 8) and Childe( no. 11) scaramouche we had massive help from Nahida and ranks 1-3 are said to rival Gods. Arrlechino is clearly very close. Even though we have 5 elements under our belt which means we have roughly 70% of our original power back if we gain equal parts back with every element we gain. Which I doubt but even then its something to consider
Now look at the context of the duel. We aren't fighting to kill, just trying to win. We aren't going yo be going all out. Travele was able to break out of the restraints while others can't and whenever traveler came in to fight she knocks Lyney team to the side to focus on us. We ARE a threat, it's just we don't have our full power and before we can go toe to toe with the other fatui we need our full strength.
She fully understands where she came from and what others may "think" of her. Though she may be performing very dangerous duties that can easily become her and her children's deaths, deep down, she does care about them and will not force them to go through with such missions. She does not want to follow the same steps as "mother", instead, she grants them an opportunity to leave, but the only condition is suffering the pain from her flames and lose all their memories about the House.
Even though she has a very thick and tough shell, she still maintains a gentle heart.
Though, the fact she can’t die of old age, or be killed in battle easily… idk. It may sound dark or strange but… I kind of wonder if she will die later in the story. With how her story has been so far, I almost hope she may reincarnate with her friend one day. At least to get another chance to love the life she’d never got.

I think this was to be an eye opener for the traveler to what is coming. She could have killed us, but didn’t. I think she knows what side she needs to be on, but can’t because of her position

she made sure the weaker ones would leave to save them from what lies ahead. so that only those who want to continue will stay on their own choice.
and the way she speaks to lyney explaining why she chose him is such a father-son moment to me I love it

But the main thing is traveler has mastered 5 elements but doesn't bother to use them against opponents.
During Fontaine storyline it feels like even characters like Navia,Clorinde who should be far below the traveler in terms of combat and elemental powers seems to much stronger than the traveler,it's frustrating, feels like the traveler made zero progress in improving but gets carried by everyone.

Taking power away from the players and forcing them to lose In a cutscene is lousy gameplay

In Mondstadt, we had Jean, Diluc and Venti (THE LITERAL ANEMO ARCHON) with us to fight dvalin.
On Liyue, traveler was with multiple adeptis and other milleliths fighting Osial. Though fought childe alone, they weren’t able to defeat him, it was just the foul legacy that wore out Childe.
In Inazuma, WE HAD YAE MIKO’S assistance fighting the raiden shogun. Funny thing is the traveler did faint the first time she came face to face with the puppet when she saved thoma.
While in Sumeru, beating Scaramouche up ACTUALLY NAHIDA HELPED US. THE LITERAL DENDRO ARCHON TOO.
As for fontaine (haven’t finished the quest yet) BUT THESE ALONE SERVES AS PROOF WE CAN’T FIGHT BY OURSELVES STILL.
I'd say the duel against Signora is the traveler's current best test of raw strength
Current traveler has no problem beating Mondstat traveler. THey've grown stronger, just not archon level strong yet

What if? It’s revealed the siblings that act as the Traveler, are stronger than the Gods? But we’d lost our original power? Meaning it may have been fluke, and otherwise, The Knave would’ve been ended faster than anyone could blink? Just saying, it’d be a hell of a twist.
Man I'm so tired of seeing Traveler taking L's after L's. There is no redeeming feat for Traveler. Everything he achieved he achieved with someones help. Dvalin? Venti helped. Azhdaha? Zhongli helped. Osial? Adeptis, Xiao and many vision holder helped. Our 1v1 against Ei, she cooked us. Our fake 1v1 against Ei (with so many peoples ambition or power of friendship bs helped us), Scaramouche? He beat us 168 times in a row. Narwhal? Neuvillette soloed it actually. Knave? Even tho it was 4v1 we still manage to lose. Who is the main character? How are we suppose to fight against Celestia while everyone keep stomping us? But hey, at least we beat Childe and some hilichurls yaaay.

But seriously they should have done what Wuthering Waves did with their MC - Give new powers with new weapons/ moveset without sacrificing the MC's functionality and enjoyment gameplay wise.
I know it's wrong to compare the two games but I don't think I can forgive hoyoverse for not making the traveler gameplay so dull just to sell other characters.

but also being completly humilated after beating her in game easily, and also the traveler not using any elements in the cutscenes just makes it obvious hoyo just beat the traveler to make her look cool and didn't even try and make it convincing. keep in mind we can use mutiple elements in the cutscenes.

If the traveler cannot defeat The Knave, how are they going to be able to face the Heavenly Principles? We're already 5/7 elements and it is not nearly enough to defeat a god without help. 😢

I was a little annoyed that the traveler lost :/ I guess all that adventuring and collecting elements were all for nothing. But then again, this is Arle's story, the outcome might be different if this fight happened during the archon quest.
It wouldn’t be different when arle is one of the strongest fatui harbingers at fourth.

i actually like that we see traveler lose tbh, but what i dont like is how they didnt even show the traveler try. Like actually their full potential against someone of a high harbinger rank, use their elements and shit to attack and defend, not just sword fighting and dodging. How would they scale themselves from there + the fact that their friends are gonna die technically if they lost.
