The most savage army I ever saw was an insane Beasts Build. It was naaaasty!
This was such a good time! As a canny viewer pointed out, I mistakenly believed the Warsong knew the whole spell lore, but it turns out he lost that in the transition to the 3.0 tome! That's why I marked his spell choice as Flaming Weapon. Going forward I would probably give him Dwellers - so I'm a little relieved that my casts of Treesong and Verdurous Harmony during the game either didn't go off or failed to produce a kill. Sorry for the silly mistake, but thanks for the great game and letting me admire the squigs up close!
Makes a lot of sense. I read it initially and wondered why on earth would anyone take Flaming Weapon on a Warsong spellsinger lol
Stabba rally turn two, they return on 4+ under light of the bad moon. Which they are under from the loonshrine already, but also from the bad moon being in that table quarter.
Also remember that under light of the bad moon your general generates an extra command point, so bottom of two you did have a command point to try your charge again.
roll bad moon before priority and return units (sometimes usually not) at the end of each turn. I think you missed model return at the end of your turn top of 4?
A good set up for the loonboss on mangler is arcane tome with the dodgy character command trait. With arcane tome he becomes a moonclan wizard and is able to take their command traits.
Dodgy character demands all successful attacks against the general must be rerolled.
Love it! Big Drogg with Gitz is great. Love the swinginess of a 4+ for massive mortals, and it was nice to see a real legitimate play with it against the Prime.
Really great as a viewer to watch a battle report between 2 great players having a blast against eachother. More Grots! More Jake! 😄

I've seen my friend's Orruk army (Ironjawz) fail a 3-inch charge with no reroll available, too. I've seen the despair on the player's face on that scenario. Man oh man. Great game. Can't wait to see the next report on my desk.

gitz rally on a 4 when they are under teh moon
How can the Warsong R cast treesong in turn 3 and on Turn 1 or 2 the other spell which does a mortal for a 5+ per model in a Unit ? Without the battallion to know 2 spells?
In the previous battletome the Warsong Rev knew the whole Sylvaneth spell lore - Jake hadn't realized he lost that in the new battletome.
Gitz list was not updated according latests points adjustments right? 20xStabbas are 140 points and loonboss on mangler is 270

Interesting decision not placing the wyldwood near the warsong for the plus 1
The Warsong also gains +1 from Overgrown terrain, which he was near!
If you Rally Gitz under the bad moon or in range of the Bad Moon Loonshrine I think it is 12" or 18" you get them back on 4+ not 6+

The large circle objectives take away from the immersion of the game
This is a competitive channel, the circles are to make clear competitive lines. Im glad they have the circles, it helps my immersion of the game.

@@chad534 Immersion for you seems to be getting into the fantasy world the game is set in, for me it helps me truly be a part of the GAME part of the strategy GAME. Too often battle reports are just two guys throwing toy soldiers at each other but I commend this channel for being unapologetically about strategizing and showing clear and readable board states which helps immerse me in the thoughts and actions of the players as though I was there playing the game with them.
