in my opinion, thank u next is her strongest album by far. she’s been through so much between macs death, the manchester bombing, broken engagement, etc, and i feel like she was able to turn all that trauma into a beautiful reflection of how trauma and pain breed toxic tendencies
Ariana has a few behind the scenes videos from the studio and she is such a genius when it comes to layering vocals and coming up with harmonies. Def give them a watch
Judging off of what was said here, I have a feeling that Mike might enjoy her first 2-3 albums the most. For me personally, though I love everything she’s put out, those albums are my sweet spot for Ari. Something about the classic vocals, which are showcased a little more as a whole, with each album gaining a little bit more pop influence. The mix of well thought-out love songs with these undeniable pop masterpieces is just so addicting, and it really highlights, for one, how great she was from the start, but also how fast she grew into this unstoppable pop star!! Can’t wait to see more!! 🔥
I would be so happy if y'all reacted to Ariana's other albums!! Positions is my personal fav, the vocals and lyrics are so so good! But every Ari album is so good you really can't go wrong
Ariana mentioned her being upside down represented a time in her life where everything felt “upside down” also relating to the music video of “NTLTC” upside down was sorta the theme 🤍
a fun fact about her album cover and the reason why it's upside down is because she recived the photo upside down and liked it, and the song No tears left to cry played with this upside down feeling, so she thought was a perfect choice to make it upside down. And not only the cover was upside down but the whole era, she wrote things upside down, her merch and all this stuff. Sweetener is an upside down era.
I CLICKED SO FAST ON THIS!!! I'd love if you guys could react to the Thank U Next album next. It's awesome that your Dad has some background knowledge on Ariana and her situation with Pete (which is good to know for when he listens to Ghostin off of Thank U Next). I'd loveee to see that reaction please! :)
Off topic but I love your dads shirt! Back on topic, this is my favorite Ariana album too! Thanks for getting his reaction. While I love her harmonies, I understand what he’s saying about preferring her voice alone. Her voice is so beautiful and unique and it’s something so special to hear her pure voice on its own. I think maybe once he’s heard more of her by itself he can appreciate her harmonies more.
I find it so interesting that so many people are suggesting her most recent albums!! her older albums show her vocals waaay more than her newer ones. my favorite is dangerous woman I would love a reaction to that ❤
It's so weird having your dad compare dua lipa to Janet Jackson, when the main critique of her was her dancing and stage presence. It really is a testament to how hard she's worked to improve both those qualities. And of course, everytime was one of his fave tracks, there's just something in that song that calls to me lmfao.
i agree with dad, i think Ariana is limited in songs because her voice is so much bigger than production. i’d be interested in y’all reviewing some of her musical theatre performances!
awe I love this sm!!! The sweetener cover is upside down because at the time in life she made this/released was after the Manchester bombing incident at her concert, so she felt upside down like her world was falling down so that’s why it’s upside down 🖤🖤 this whole album is bringing the good the love the life the sweetener into some dark shit
i would love you to react to some of the music videos from this album! especially no tears left to cry and god is a woman, they are visual masterpieces!
better off is my fav song of hers ever. so simple, but complex and absolutely beautiful. her dreamy, immaculate vocals. the deep and personal lyrics. in love with it. (and she almost didnt put it in the album cuz its very personal. im so grateful she did) ♥️
one of the many reasons that makes ari so special to me and different from other artists musically is how she mixes this pop rap trappy vibe with classic beautiful nostalgic sentimental strings and vocals… its so unique and beautiful. theres no one like her. ♥️
PLEASE REACT TO: “Thank U, Next (Album)” by Ariana Grande. This album is the aftermath of Pete & Mac Miller. Ghostin is her best/saddest song on there.
the reason why the photo is upside down is cause she said it would be fun to see people thinking about why was It upside down hahahhahhahhahahhaha I SWEAR
i love this! never watched your videos, RUclips recommended you guys to me and I'm glad! btw the album cover is upside down (just like the thank u next album also) because it represented her life at the time. please react to more of her albums!!! i strongly recommend Yours Truly (even more recommend the live from London tracks!) another BTW lol your reactions to REM and goodnight n go are soooo cute!!!!
You should really give Smino a listen. He's a Dreamville artist that has one of the most unique styles and flows in all of hip-hop, blending aspects of rap, R&B/soul, and jazz. He's truly a generational talent that doesn't get enough credit for what he does. I've never heard of any other artist that sounds the way that he does. He has three studio albums: blkswn, NOIR, and Luv 4 Rent. I highly recommend Blkswn and NOIR, but you cannot really go wrong with any of them. You will not be disappointed!
Finally some Ariana
So happy that you're finally reacting to Ariana! She's sooo musically intelligent. It's kinda sad that people overlook that part of her
So true
she just felt so upside down in this stage of life. that’s why the album cover is upside down. she was “floating” through a great chunk of it
in my opinion, thank u next is her strongest album by far. she’s been through so much between macs death, the manchester bombing, broken engagement, etc, and i feel like she was able to turn all that trauma into a beautiful reflection of how trauma and pain breed toxic tendencies
when he immediately said i like this one at the beginning of everytime i knew his opinion was gold
SPILLL
Omgggg i feel like he is going to love her vocals in positions, can’t wait!!
Get well soon never fails to make me cry, perfect closer for the album
This album is soooo good!
Ariana has a few behind the scenes videos from the studio and she is such a genius when it comes to layering vocals and coming up with harmonies. Def give them a watch
Everytime is a treasured gem!

nah, i think positions and eternal sunshine would be the ones he'll love but the debate continues
I would be so happy if y'all reacted to Ariana's other albums!! Positions is my personal fav, the vocals and lyrics are so so good! But every Ari album is so good you really can't go wrong
we def need thank u, next now
Ariana mentioned her being upside down represented a time in her life where everything felt “upside down” also relating to the music video of “NTLTC” upside down was sorta the theme 🤍
Get well soon always makes me emotional

And not only the cover was upside down but the whole era, she wrote things upside down, her merch and all this stuff. Sweetener is an upside down era.
you guys should listen to her live album “k bye for now.” it really showcases her voice
I CLICKED SO FAST ON THIS!!! I'd love if you guys could react to the Thank U Next album next. It's awesome that your Dad has some background knowledge on Ariana and her situation with Pete (which is good to know for when he listens to Ghostin off of Thank U Next). Dangerous women vocals are lit and positions r&b can blow your father's mind.

positions is a wonderful album and is definitely worth reacting to!
Thank u next and dangerous Woman, he's gonna enjoy it for sure

If you didn’t know, goodnight n go is a cover (although she changed the first verse) of a song by Imogen Heap. Ariana is a big fan of hers ❤
I think y'all would LOVE thank u, next and positions!
I find it so interesting that so many people are suggesting her most recent albums!! her older albums show her vocals waaay more than her newer ones. my favorite is dangerous woman I would love a reaction to that ❤
DW is def a no skip album!

I feel like sweetener is a very polarizing album, especially to start out with. Eagerly awaiting the reaction to thank u, next 🙌🏼
such an amazing album despite some of its flaws. Sweetener will forever be a staple in pop music HISTORY!
React to thank u next album please
It's so weird having your dad compare dua lipa to Janet Jackson, when the main critique of her was her dancing and stage presence. You really need to hear Ariana sing God is a woman and Breathin in the Sweetener world tour guys
Positions is easily her best album! So happy you’ve reacted to Ari 🫶🫶
Thank U next is her best for me but I’m interested to see what you think! Some songs are a miss for me here but there are also some great ones!
oh my, your dad really KNOWS what he’s talking about!! legend
sweetener is my favorite album of all time its beautifully experimental
The meaning for her being upside down was 1) because she wanted to bug people and 2) she felt upside down in her life at the time.
Has anyone ever mentioned here that the song “goodnight n go” is a cover of the great Imogen Heap’s “goodnight and go”? 41:04

PLEASE REACT TO: “Thank U, Next (Album)” by Ariana Grande. This album is the aftermath of Pete & Mac Miller. Ghostin is her best/saddest song on there.
