From The Ground Up - Ep. 1: "More Than Just A Building"
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 18 окт 2018
- Since their inception in 1960, the Raiders have never had a stadium of their own. Until now. Narrated by Dirty Jobs' Mike Rowe, From The Ground Up, takes the viewer on an unprecedented look into the techniques and technologies, the steel and the stress, and the lives of the men and women responsible for building an ultra-modern stadium in Southern Nevada.

I love this both as a football fan and a civil engineering student.
I live down the street from the construction site and the stadium is coming a long just fine. Wow! just over a year away from kick-off, I can't wait. Go Raiders!
From Philadelphia I’m happy for you guys.
this is really interesting to watch! thank you!
Very informative presentation. You are presented with a lot of facts and dynamics involved in such a complex project. I knew for some years the Raiders were moving from Oakland to Las Vegas but the fact the stadium will be located right by THE STRIP itself was a surprise and a bonus.
Anything Mike Rowe commentates, I watch. 👍
I'm a straight Chiefs fan but have respect for the black n silver and cant wait to catch one of our rivalry games at your guys new home!
will maughan RESPECT from RAIDERNATION
will maughan good luck in the Super Bowl

Classy voice choice Mike Rowe love it.
One day everything will get better and one day players will want to play for the raiders. State of the art facilities is a start. Al davis if you have any power, please help us fans.
Stadiums gunna be dope af.
Casey Canez stadium is but the team will forever be dumpster juice 🤢 🤮
This suck this year but they got 3 picks in this draft and I'm sure they will be a great team heading into Las Vegas.
I got season tickets
@@andw3dontstop477 who your team? You don't know what their going to look like.
@@cvljames810 TOO EXPENSIVE.
LET'S GO BABY raiders NO MATTER WHAT !!!!
I keep finding more and more projects that my company has worked on that I had no idea we were behind (I'm new to the construction business). It's really cool to see how much impact we have. Go McCarthy!
I’m an ex charger fan but I’m looking forward to visiting this stadium. Really nice 👍🏽
I love this city. I so proud to be apart of what’s taken place. Everyday I see progress when I drive through I-15. I envision the Raiders will win a Super Bowl here in Las Vegas coming in being the biggest long shot.
Los Angeles Raiders vs Denver Broncos was my first NFL Monday Night Football game in Mile High Stadium. October 1988' in 24' degrees freezing for a Hawaii born Professional Sports Photographer. Douglas YK Wong, ( Howie Long and Denver John Elway. )
Finally A NEW START for the raiders!!! In there OWN Stadium!! Greatness TO COME !!🤘☠️
That's the spirit mate 👍 too many sad sack comments about our team lately its quite depressing. Exciting times ahead GO RAIDERS

Raider Nation is coming to Vegas.
Jimmy Bosser Jr Yeah and we dont want you here
and this stadium design is Mark Davis specs.,two thumbs up MD
#RaiderNation 💀
We are tanking to get ready for Vegas. Raiders don’t care about Oakland anyone, that’s sad so much loyalty to
i'm from oakland but if oakland is suing you for leaving and wanting to take the colors and all that other stuff. i'd too would want to get the f**k out their quick too. i'm sorry but this is a better move for the raiders, oakland didn't want to build them a stadium. Very bad choice by oakland to do that. oakland has f**k up big time. hate to say it but it's true, ngl.
As a former St. Louis Rams fan I can tell you first hand how Kronke made no effort what-so-ever to make the Rams better until he got his move to LA. Same thing with the Raiders. The ground work is being laid for future success.
Finally someone that knows raider football 🔥
Town Bidnezz preach brother 🙏🔥
Town Bidnezz yeah Oakland didn’t offer much when it came to getting a new stadium for the Raiders
Cool documentary. I wonder what kind of raider team will be moving there in 2020.
I can't wait raiders will run LV LA and SD and can't wait to travel and be there to see there glorious stadium
You know LA has the 7-0 Rams right? Doubt they will run LA!! HORNS UP!!!
+Albert Neri yes I know but raiders have a huge fan base in LA
raider nation
raidersfan3179 Raiders were never more than a glorified fashion statment in LA. This is Rams town always and forever buddy
+AllSeeingEye BAILEY yeah but Raiders mate Los Angeles won their first Super Bowl and since then we've been having great fanbase here in La so we have a good fan base still buddy
LA is a Rams town again buddy
As a rams fan I’m lowk jealous but man the us gonna have some beautiful stadiums
Tight
No more autumn wind :/
Damn I didn't think of that
Bois this what we call the future
It going to be badass. Sucks the team is shitty atm but Imma still fly out to Vegas when it's good to go.
💪
MAYBE we are tanking the season maybe not, we'll tank next season as well, maybe not.
We are getting for sure a top 5 NFL DRAFT prospect in 2019 "hint: Bosa" and 2020 TBD. Thank you Mack for all the draft picks and our rebuilding process.
As for the 2020 season to the end of Gruden's contract, if not, extended for another 10 years? SuperBowl Contenders and Dynasty...Real Predictions.
We will win a SuperBowl for Vegas before some other teams that are currently failing or have failed to do in the history for their respective City/State e.g. S.D. sorry but that team already moved to LA (RAIDERS already handed you one, LA, YOUR WELCOME!) whom now have 2 possibilities to get another ring and a 100% chance (in case you don't know: the teams are in different conferences) if both those teams make it there, but do it while you can this season or next before the 2020 season. WHERE EVER WE GO WE DELIVER! RAIDER NATION!
I enjoy Mike Rowe's stuff very much like "Returning the favor." He does some really greta stuff on that program! That being said I can't stomach watching this "garbage."
RAIDERZ!!!. . . RAIDERZ!!! BLACK N SILVER ALL DAY LONG!!!
Amazing video! Good job!
Arrowhead west looks great
Raiders used to pride themselves on being outsiders and being for the raider nation. They have transformed into just another consumer product. They keep talking about the fans of the raiders, but they were ‘forced’ to move to a place without any of them, they had fans in Oakland and LA, and they left all of them
Raiders space gracias
growing lush grass in the desert sun is already a challenge.... doing it on a football field? it's lofty.... but hey, they got the money
Season ticket holders prepare to pay 16k plus for your season tickets" and if its that low you're getting lucky
And 16k is the nosebleed section lol
LOL there's probably gonna be more fans there for the opposing team than for the Raiders like the Chargers in San Diego and LA lol
we payed 18k in the middle of the stadium but that was for two seats
Vegas can afford it, Brokeland can't. Deal with it. Your girl left you for a classier dude with more money. 🤣
Did they bring in McCarthy to actually leverage their expertise or because the Nevada legislature/Las Vegas city council argued for their being on the project for local area jobs?
As a Steeler fan I have to give it to raiders new stadium it going be sick
I’m not going to lie. I’m kinda proud that Las Vegas finally has pro sports moving in. It gives the city more than just gambling going for it.
I’m getting giddy
Uncle Mike. Black raiders shirt.
Season tickets are going to skyrocket...if they have not already.
3.45 didn't know Brett Farve was a Stadium Designer .
Can I buy those bushes in the middle?
Ain’t won’t be like OAKLAND!!!!!! Just my opinion RAIDERS 4 LIFE
It will be shocking if the raiders actually manage to win games , cause it really sucks being a fan of a team who loses
How did you get in? They had it all fenced off
Where is 2nd base supposed to be at
Like if Gruden is tanking
Raiders are rebuilding the team it’s pretty obvious we don’t expect them to win any time soon
Pat's fan here. Just wanted to say come on Raider fans. Give him a chance.
$750 million of tax exempt bonds were used to finance this beast. Everybody who stays in a Vegas hotel for the next couple of decades gets to help pay for it!
something wrong with that? how much money is this gonna bring into vegas.. think about that.. how many jobs will it create etc
You're exactly right
@@loneranger7877 a drop in the bucket, compared to what people who don't give a damn about football will pay. You watch too much TV
...and the Patriots spent only $7 million to build their first showplace, Schaefer Stadium, with NO taxpayer subsidy. In fact, the city of Foxboro insisted on a surcharge for every ticket sold, thereby guaranteeing the city would make money on the Patriots.
I’m sure this will attract a lot of tourists from around the world to have a team if they don’t have one.
It amazing how the 49ers quarterback is the owner of the raiders
And that quarterback was now a Raider. Welcome to the Raider Nation Jimmy G!!!!!
*I MISS DIRTY JOBS*
Does anyone know the name of the theme song?
Besides the local football fans, vacationers will also attend the games. And plenty of California fans will make the drive there or take a hop. There should be no problem filling the stadium, but the team will need to play much better than they are now.
Keith Galahad they are obviously tanking and prepping for vegas
So you honestly believe that a family on vacation will spend 200-300 dollars for the nosebleed section and a visiting teams fans will spend the money on a flight out have to checkout by 11 am carry luggage to the games and fly home directly afterwards to be at work on Monday when they can go to any sportsbook pay for hot dogs and beer and basically watch the game for free? Yea I can definitely see this happening and when the hotel taxes don't generate the money they projected it to guess who pays for it in the end? The rich fans of Clark county just like the fans in Oakland. And when this stadium is obsolete guess what Mark Davis is going to do.
Casinos will buy up plenty of tickets. They’ve already said this. Expect to see lots of visiting fans attending games there. Doubt it will be much of a home field advantage.
@@southpawRS5 I would agree. The home field advantage won't be the same as having the rabid fans in Oakland, it will take years to build up a true fan base. Listening to local California radio, it's expected that quite a few Raiders fans from California would make the drive, take a bus or a plane hop to LV. Raider Nation follows their team no matter where they play and LV is just around a 4 hours drive from LA.
Keith Galahad you put too much faith in angelenos who have too many options on weekends. If that team in vegas stays lame like they are now I dont see anyone going out of their way to pay ridiculous prices to see a team lose every sunday, especially when you have an actual local team in LA playing some of the best football in years. Gruden need to hit gold this draft or else this wont look good at all
Gonna be dope but parking is gonna suck so bad and suck cause there was supposed to be a underground parking but that didnt happen
Seriously if I was a raider fan in Oakland I wouldn't give these bastards a penny of my money before they leave what a kick in the balls to you guys. Please tell me they actually trying get you guys to still support team in Vegas ?
Where’s part 2?
It will be harder. No absolutely no cheating.
Stadium going up... team is tanking :(
Exactly we need wins
sorry but what do you guys mean by tanking?
It's for draft picks get out of your feelings
oregonpoop loading up on picks
They are losing intentionally. They want draft picks.
Who else notices that it is accross from trump tower
It's actually on the south end of the strip across from Mandalay Bay and the Delano. Trump International Hotel Las Vegas is on the north end of the strip. Take a look at the Las Vegas Stadium site here: goo.gl/maps/vGYmESzN2UC2
Rraaaiiidddeeerrrssss
"from the ground up" - Kind of like how Jon Gruden destroyed this team "from the ground up"
@DgsTube46 Not really. Football is 90% mental, and I'd argue that coaches are far more valuable to building a successful franchise than any player ever has been. Besides, Gruden overturned over HALF of the teams roster and replaced them with "his guys." anyway. He created holes where there werent any previously. I.E. DE, WR, and Punter. This is 90% his fault.
@DgsTube46 RAIDERS WILL NEVER BE GREAT AGAIN...OR BE GOLDEN LIKE THE 49ERS EVER!!!!
is it done
The next 20 year residence of the raiders before heading back to California
P Gaven Long as it’s warm 😁
Way to go HNTB.
Wasn't the Carson plan and stadium hatched up by chargers owner Dean Spanos? 🤔
the Greatness of the Raiders.........is in their PAST.
It sucks this Stadium couldn't have been Oakland
But Vegas is way better than Oakland
I'm sure this stadium will not affect Lake Meade in a negative way........
🏆🏈🏫
Vegas Raiders baby
time to have another dozen mediocre seasons in a new fancy stadiums congrats Raiders
Next step, Have the World Cup Game in Las Vegas
Yhall should have an aquarium in there
Irvin should have be cut instead of trading mack.. even if we would have been able to have 3 bruce irvins for the same price as mack .. mack would have still been the better option.
Sergio De Santiago too bad it’s not that Simple
I guess you did get rid of the clear etf roof. That’s bs
Why buy a PSL seat just wait a week or a couple of days before the game and buy a ticket.
