When you hear Lincoln you think of over people you hear Cadillac you think of older people yeah the escalades and the navigators and the are there at Lincoln suv's have appealed to younger people but there really still not selling that well. beware of this car's reputation for faulty audio./infotainmen malfunctions. Mine was in the service dept fot 11 weeks with no result other than "it's irreparable" and forget Lincoln's customer assitance it's a farce, unresponsive and ineffectual. I unloaded mine today and I'm looking to the Germans or Japanese to fill my luxury sedan needs.
I keep wondering why Ford could not take the design language from the 1961 to 65 Lincoln`s and make the suicide doors an option to influence this rather boring vehicle. I know, because my wife and I drove one of when they first came onto the market. The cool kids are buying the 1960`s Lincolns ,especially the convertibles, and making huge impressions with them. When you see popular music bands and movies and even rappers customizing these cool 1960`s era Lincolns, it creates a "got to have it " market conciousness ,and yet nearly everyone else is apparently underwhelmed by the latest versions of these cars. I can`t help think the Ford guys must be either be asleep or just don`t get their market or what it could be. And...please don`t give me the nonsense about current safety regulations prohibiting convertibles or suicide doors. Mercedes Benz makes convertibles and provisions could be made to offer the suicide doors. Stop being so unimaginative and sedentary in thinking. Jeez Ford/Lincoln get hip or die!

Cadillac has got rid of their sedans and the new continental which is ending production at the end of 2020 will only be offered in China. If they could have grabbed ahold of a younger crowd they would have been doing very well all these years they screwed up They both did.
One of the ugliest colors for a car let alone a Lincoln. Unfortunately, the Town Car is no longer made and this Lincoln does not make up for that or replace it. They are too small and too tight feeling.

Lexus and infinity is nothing more than a glorified Nissan Ultimata / Altima Toyota Camry. The fact is as good as the fusion is it still a fusion. I've seen MK z's and I think there were very pretty cars I've driven in fusions and I think the fusion was very comfortable and the drove very well. Lincoln needed to overcome the even though I've had forts for years and I've never had problems with them mechanically I think Ford's were excellent even body rot I've never had problems with Ford's my family is never had problems with Ford's it's an image thing The fusion Platinum a stupid name in and of itself for the car set it a long time ago why would anybody want to buy a Lincoln MKZ if they could buy a fusion platinum. There never should have been a fusion platinum. How did toy yoda and Nissan managed to get people to spend extra money for a Camry and a ultimata/ Altima? Because Toyota's in nice arms are extremely dependable for that matter so our Fords but the image alone of a toy yoda and a Nissan being very very reliable is ultimately what killed them in the luxury car market. They need to match Toyota and Nissan in every which way to truly create car as that could compete forget BMW forget Mercedes you just not gonna overcome those images completely impossible. Saab and Volvo forget it not going to compete with them. The fight was with Toyota and Nissan and apparently they've lost. Toyota's Nissan's it's all about volume acura a don't really see many people by acura's anymore I don't really see Honda having made the inroads in the luxury car market that they had hoped. And that's kind of an interesting story because hondas are incredibly good cars so how was it that Honda couldn't compete with toy yoda and Nissan because it's in images Issue.

Picked up a 2019 Continental reserve last week....Absolutely love it. Lincoln did a great job on this one.
