Was hyped when Lincoln started trying on their sedans again too bad they couldn't sell enough to keep them around...really feel like this is one of the nicest/affordable used vehicles you can get right now.
I drive a 2014 Lincoln MKS (3.7L) and I have always admired the styling of the Continental. Whenever this car's life has run its course, I will probably pick up a used Continental Black Label and pray Lincoln comes back with some sedan offerings in the future. In my opinion, this is is the best styled American luxury sedan ever made. The Cadillac CTS-V is a close 2nd, albeit of a much sportier design.
Would love to hear ACTUAL OWNERS of the new Continentals & their actual experiences after owning one. As a owner, do you still consider the 2017-2020 Continental a "Reliable" vehicle? How many mechanical issues has your Continetal had? How many miles did you get out of it or have gotten out of it if you still own it? IF you got rid of it then why & how come? This kind of info would be super valuable to prospective used car buyers of the Lincoln Continental. Thanks to anyone giving their honest opinion after owning or still owning this car. It sure would be nice to her actual owners of this car commenting in here instead of just a bunch of opinions about Lincoln/Ford & versus other vehicles.
I always encourage ownership opinions, I myself am independent in all my reviews so can say whatever I think to get as close to real world as possible:)
@@Deathbruce very nice. Hope you enjoy it very much. Please stay in contact here for any positive & negatives you might expeience with it. I was reluctant to get me the Continental due to a feature it has called "Battery Saver" where the car shuts down if you dont' use it dialy or within 2-3 days. Thuse requiring a jump start to get it runing again. I am an elderly guy that might dirve only 2 times a week so the Continental having this feature scared me away from purchasing it. This information I found out about the battery saver fueature instaleld made me verify with 2 Lincoln mechanics if it is true or not & they both told me it was and has been a problem for some people that don't drive daily. I'm sure you will probably use the car everyday yourself, but if you ever let it sit for say 3-4 days or longer & this happens & you need a jump start, please get back in here to let us/me know if this is true. If it didn't have this feature I would have got me one also for sure. Thank you so much & I hope the car is wonderful for you. I was choosing between 3 cars. This Lincoln Continental, the Toyota Avalon, or most likely I will go with a used Genesis G90 if I can find one. I stil haven't purchsed a used vehicle yet. The Lincoln is a very beautiful looking car I hop eyou enjoy many years of reliable troble free use out of it. Please let me know as time goes on. Thanks again very much.
I just purchased a 2017 Black Label with the upgraded packages over a month ago coming from someone who normally drive foreign cars/ suvs I still have my BMW X5 but I drive the Lincoln more, it’s Luxury & power in one. I never thought I would be driving a Lincoln but I am and I really enjoy driving it. It’s like driving a Luxury Sports Car. I like it so much I’m thinking about the Aviator “Black Label” as my next SUV
I am a proud owner of a 2020 Continental Black Label. It does not get driven very often (I am a truck driver). In the 4 1/2 year span of owner ship I had one headlight light trim stop working (they replaced the entire headlight) not sure what the cost was. Covered by warranty, now I am going to get the AC recharged ( Covered by warranty ). All in all the car has been mechanically sound the vehicle only has 4,700 miles on it. I've only once had the battery saver issue. Probably my 3rd year of ownership where the battery voltage was really low ( winter time ). Other than that never had an issue. I would sometimes let the car sit months at a time. Always started right up. Also side note if it was an issue of the battery saver being a problem, I could start the car using the Lincoln way app in my phone and be nowhere near my home. Overall I am very pleased.
Same in the USA, they are discontinuing American sedans very fast. If i am not mistaken Chevrolet and Cadillac are the last American brands to sell in the U.S. it's sad to see. This car ended production in 2020
I wouldn’t say the Forte is all that close. First different body styles by far, compact vs large sedan. Kia is a normal economy car and not trying to look like a luxury car. Also the Lincoln is premium due to the large power output, great fit and finish, and endless luxury features comparable to the better know luxury flagships.

I agree, it’s sits apart in the market lineup!

That two tone steering wheel is exquisite

I wish this car was brought over to Australia. Unfortunately no one really wants sedans anymore

I-was hoping there was a rear-window auto-shade 🤷🏾♂️
I wish ford/lincoln would bring back the sedans the like fusion (and the lincoln counterpart) the Taurus, and this gorgous car.
Agreed!
I want the crown vic and the Lincoln TC back

The only thing I can't like about Lincolns is that they don't have a stick shift.
To be fair, it’s been a very long time since they have so I wouldn’t pick on the brand particularly for it - but would be cool for sure.
Didn't Lincoln stop the Continental in 2020?
Whoops, that’s correct. I’ll fix the title
kia forte has almost same exterior design
so.. is kia premium or this lincon design not premium ?
look for the price !

The Kia Forte looks nothing like this :\ what even

Absolutely not dude that damn Kia don't have s*** on a Lincoln bro come on
I’m sick of videos like this. This isn’t a review. All you did is walk around the car in a dealership parking lot.
I’m independent and unpaid in all of my reviews, just saying what I think about cars. I also drove this one in particular in a separate video.
We all know the saying. You can polish a turd all you want but it's still a turd
