Wait, so Elias has another female friend besides Laia, who was also the only female student at the academy until Laia came along, *and there's no catty, jealous love triangle?!* Hell. Yeah.
I recently just started watching your book reviews and I wwated to know if you could do a review on the Red Queen series. I'd really like to know your opinion on the writing and world building
I remember picking this up since I needed to read something and it looked interesting but I never finished it. I can't remember why I put it down (It probably was my petty annoyance at how people interacted with Helen and/or the innuendos to the sexual violence.) but seeing something review it kinda makes me want to go back to the library and pick it up again. After all, I kinda need to read books similar in idea with what I want to write. I have to stop being picky in my book choices if I take so long writing my own lmao. So, this is gonna have to go back on my books to read/finish reading since I do wish I did get to see the end.
I read this, but personally didn't really like it at all. Which sucks because I was super excited to read it and had heard so many great things. Maybe my expectations were too high
God I fucking hated this book lol. It was the epitome of shitty ya fantasy. The last book is the only redeemable pet. It’s worse than throne of glass in my eyes.

Hell. Yeah.
Yes there's. And there's also another guy as well who is interested in Laia.
No there is, and it’s more like a love square

Oh, man. I really like the brief, well written ear worm of an introduction song. Great review.
I cracked up with the Yugio reference
just came here to say thanks to you I picked this up, became a fan and have been regularly using you as a recommendation hub since
thanks :D

best description of the commandant ever
Yugioh is the only reference that matters
It sounds like Game of Thrones meets The Hunger Games.
