- An Albanian criminal who illegally returned to Britain after being deported has won the right to stay under the the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).
Ardit Binaj, 32, was freed six months into a two-and-a-half year jail sentence for burglary and deported as part of a prisoner transfer agreement with Albania.
Kevin O'Sullivan is joined by The Sun's Rod Liddle, who says:
“An asylum seeker from where? Albania has never been happier in its entire history… it is a nation of peace, and all the criminals have gone to London.”

@@KelculesIIIleaving the ECHR doesn’t mean we can’t have these things on your list. All they do is review cases and judge in their favour. Many counties ignore these rulings.
The list you have is basic human rights, we don’t need the ECHR to enforce them….our government can do that along with our own judges / courts if there is injustice.

For those who don’t understand exactly how this happened I will explain
The Lithuanian girlfriend will have EU settlement (indefinite leave to remain)
Along with 40,000 Afghans, 8.2 MILLION EU citizens, 200,000 Ukrainians they have all been granted ‘settlement’
Settlement is one step removed from citizenship and any child born to a person with ‘settlement’ automatically gets British citizenship (as well as whatever other passport they have)
So the Human Rights Act article 8 (right to a family life) kicks in and because the Albanian has a British child he gets the ‘right’ to stay
The ECHR isn’t the problem. The Human Rights Act is the problem . Without the HRA there would be nothing to refer to the ECGR

A right to a family life and a right to a family life in my country at my expense are not the same thing.
Nearly all of those articles were understood laws of this country before the foreign court, and much of our historical legal practices are all over the world, so we don't require any lectures on decency and law and order, the whole thing is just a jolly up for well heeled leftist lawyers living at the trough, and a bunch of globalist creeps pushing for the dictatorship of one world government.
We get nothing out of the ECHR but the legal profession gets many millions.

The Court does not have a separate budget, but its budget is part of the general budget of the Council of Europe.
