At the start, Sarge's quote is referencing this quote by George S. Patton: "No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making some other poor dumb bastard die for his country." They just made it kid friendly here. Patton was rallying allied troops to defeat the axis powers during World War II.

Man, this game brings back memories. I was the perfect age when 3DO's Army Men games came out; I was a kid when the first Toy Story was released, I had bags of Army Men and the Army Men games were coming out for the PS1 me and my brothers had. I wonder sometimes if that's why I got into military history later on.
Anyway, I don't remember those outtake cutscenes at the end. I had the Sarge's Heroes that came in a three-pack with Army Men 3D and Air Attack (I think it was called the War Chest or something), so maybe the outtakes were released later or on a different console?

The spider turning part is ass backwards. The n64 version had the tan turning the grays into spiders, now the grays are helping the tans and are turning the red into spiders
